• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

So I was misting his cage earlier and he decided he was going to keep me company. He jumped right out of the cage (about a 2' distance) up on my chest, climbed over top of my head and just chilled out on my shoulder! I've had him about a month (got him thrown in on a trade) and he's growing like a weed(about 5" in overall length since I got him, Wow!), I handle him often so he's pretty well tame for a columbian though he is a little flighty in his cage and huffs and puffs for the first few seconds when I pick him up but once he realizes he isn't being restrained he is super cool with me and doesn't mind hanging out at all and he has yet to offer a bite or attempt to bite. Anyway enjoy the pics I think there pretty cool.

Thanks for looking:thumbsup:

Jeff

Yeah, me too. Ha I just noticed your name is Geoff too just spelled differently. What kinda beardie do you have? You should post some pics in the BD forum, Id love to see them. I have 4 beardies my self I kept as pets but I sold off all my breeders and holdback juvies last year to work more with ball pythons.

Ill take some pictures for you when I'm home. (On my droid now =) ) but since your experienced to you mind me asking you a question or two? I know this isn't a bd forum but yeah

I have some pictures ill upload them for ya when I get a chance..I'm on my phone now.but since you are experienced with beardies you mind me asking a question or two?

Congratts on the tame Columbian. I had one back in the late 80s and it was a ferocious beast. I have a young adult Argentinian now that is the biggest sweety I've ever met.

I've actually come across several people who have Columbians that are becoming tame lately. I wonder if there are more captive bred available these days, as I know in years past almost all of them were wild imports.
