Working with Mike...
My full story, to date, of dealing with Mike Roe.
I bid on, and "won" an 01 captive bred 5' adult female brazilian rainbow boa. He had pictures and all. He would only accept money orders. I sent him the money order priority mail, and he promised he'd let me know as soon as it arrived. A full week later I had heard nothing from him, and wrote him asking if he had recieved it or not. He said Yes, that he had, and that he would be shipping the snake on thursday. Thursday comes, and I have heard nothing. I wrote him, asking him to let me know her approximate arrival time, and a tracking number so I could check on the progress every so often. He sent me back a blanket Email as if he were sending it out to many people saying that his father had had a heart attack and that he would be out of town for a while. I put a post up on the ReptiForum asking about others who had delt with him and I got directed here. Upon reading the thread here, I Emailed him immediatly telling him that if I don't get that snake then I had better get a full refund. He wrote back apologizing, and said that someone he knew had seen my post on here, and that I would be getting a full refund. I Emailed him back, and told him that if he had the snake, I would rather have the snake, but if he "couldn't" ship it to me by today I wanted a refund. He wrote me today and told me that because of family problems he would not have time to ship the snake, and that he would be sending me a full refund today. He never really tried to get out of communicating with me, and has seemed to work with me on this. The auction I won he had set to close in 24 hours, and upon looking at his other auctions, almost all of them were to close in that exact same time frame. Since then he hasn't posted any new ones. This is a copy of the snake I "won". I will post again and let you all know if I recieve my refund. Thanks again.
