Need help with a cornsnake. I have an adult male that every inch of this snake is sunken in. He is also very limp when I pick him up. Looks like he has never eaten in his life, yet he is fed EVERY week. This started happening about a month ago, I moved him into quarenteen area, doubled the feed, but he is getting worse by the week (I was cooling him to breed next spring and checked on him when I found him not doing well.) .
He is not dehydrated, no mites, no respiratory infection, no bites, nothing that would show a problem. At least not something like this. Every other snake in my room is fine. Even his cagemate (he is now separated from ALL other snakes). The only thing different is I put him with a new female this year..but she is fine. I will be contacting vet but would love to know what might be going on with him?
Thanks...Harpy
