    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Very Sad!!

What an absolute shame......... Tim, that last picture that you posted says it all...My whole reason for being involved in any of this is because of the love for the animals. It's still sad to think of all the unnecessary pain and suffering that poor animal went through.

I don't know how some of you people sleep at night??

That is exactly what I was thinking Matt. Recalling Tim posting pics of his tree vipers in the past on other forums. In 20 years, I have never heard of an emerald being a carrier of this virus. It would be highly unusual to say the least...Not a common emerald malady at all.
I think it is quite possible that Tim was unaware of the Paramixo infection in his collection...possibly mistaking it for a respiratory problem, at least with this emerald.
However, it is pretty wildly impossible for anyone to believe that Tim didn't purposely send you a sick animal! This is the worst thing a seller can do in my opinion!! Unless he has a pretty big ace up his sleeve, I don't ever see how Tim could ever come back here and justify this bad deal...without at least giving you a complete and immediate refund...or by the time he does decide to talk, it will be way too late. Nobody will care to listen.

Sorry Scott but I was wanting to hear the story from Tim himself. Just curious whether it really happened or not. Thanks for looking out for him though!
 
Sorry Matt, but Scott's right on this one. That doesn't belong on the BOI, in my opinion.

The rules of the BOI require that a real name be attached to each piece of information posted here. Second-hand hearsay is not evidence worthy of any consideration. If you are not posting it for its evidentiary value, it seems to be public only for the purpose of further embarassment of Tim. Well, his own actions/inactions have embarassed him more than enough, wouldn't you say?

I thought it was pretty revelent because I just want to see if I was the only one or if this really did happen. I don't know the guys name but maybe Tim can clear it up for me.
 
Sorry about that Rich I haven't read the rules!

I will be posting the results of the necropsy as soon as I get them! It will probably be sometime next week. I have some info about it now but I will have the vet put it in writing because it can be explained better that way.

The only word from Tim is that I am NOT getting any money back and if I want to sue him go ahead and try because I am in Florida and he is in Ohio and I will never be able to collect and blah, blah, blah. Nice guy huh?
 
Matt that is what lawyers are for let me get it for you and they can get their fee from him too. It is worth a try. See idf a lawyer where you live can tell you one that lives there that will take your case. I have seen it happen that way before. YOu need to get him butt good and anyone else that has bought a snake from him that is or could be sick needs to do the same. You get enough people that he has done wrong and he will have to pay.

I have already been in contact with someone in Ohio and also with the courthouse in Franklin County where Tim lives. Tim knows I am going to persue this and he told me on the phone the first night I talked to him to go ahead so I guess I have his blessings?!? It might be a bit of a pain in the rear but how many more people need to go through the same thing. I had a long talk with one of his friends and after showing him all kinds of pics and after him seeing the vet reports he even said there was no way that stuff happened as a result of shipping.

The ONLY possible thing Tim could say in court to try and save his butt is that I accepted the animal in 'as is' condition. I know of two people he has told this to already. For the record I wouldn't accept a snake from anybody in 'as is' condition even if it was free let alond spending $2,500.00. 'As is' means there is something wrong with it. Plus I already have talked to people about that statement and it will be no problem when he brings it up in court.

I am still collecting the evidence from the lab results and will be getting more so it will be somewhat of an open and shut case.
 
I wouldnt give all out that you know. The more you keep to yourself the better our case will be. I know people on here want to know everything I am one too but it might be best to keep some of this to yourself. The vet records are one thing you could show just to leteveryone know about that. I just hate to see you have to go through all this crap. He should just come clean it will be cheaper for him if he did. Because it is going to end up costing him more than what he owes you when it is all said and done. I guess he is not thinking about all that.

It is going to cost me more too but something has to be done so this won't happen again. By the time I am done my $2,500.00 snake may cost me three times that. I can give out all of the information I want and it will not hurt me because it is so obvious what happened here. I have talked to plenty of lawyers and given them the evidence and it is a no brainer.
 
Matt, you may have to shell out more money initially, but if I'm not mistaken, the loser has to pay the winner's court costs. If the case goes in your favor, Tim will be paying for his legal fees as well as yours! Or at least I would make that part of my initial complaint.
