    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

No way, Man! That's why the BOI is kept as it is. If you shoot yourself in the foot, the bandage can be ripped of any time you start telling everyone you have no scars! There is no reason for you to apologize for anything, as far as I'm concerned!

I see "the weasel" has been hanging around the BOI page all day, ever so quiet! Must be reading and correcting spelling!

I did read the post you listed about the other person, it educates us new ones as to those that did stupid things in the past and tried to blame it on others and tried to bring it back up and probably do more stupid things again!

Neil should be gone for good

When only one person on this board looks so far down their nose at everyone else, goes out of their way to belittle people whenever possible, and then has it come out that the board is for his own sarcastic entertainment and that he cannot even follow his own advice about customer service, which he has preached over and over and over and over again, on literally every thread, then I think the board as a whole is much better off without that person.

To me, the email was the clincher. I could overlook the sarcasm, self promotion and plethera of self righteous behavior, but the ........... thing and the CAPITALIZATION of his IMPORTANT words was too much.

As a side note, whatever came out of the robbery "episodes?" Who, what really happened etc.

The robbery episode seems like a dead fish..in other words nobody is telling and I am sure it'll all be told when ready.

Never receiving an e-mail like that from Neil but talking to him many times even sticking up for him from time to time when he was banned..I feel like a used car salesman was trying to sell me something..maybe a Model T :unhappy:

After all, he did send that email to the wrong person by mistake!

Good to see things have changed

About one year ago my roomate and I attempted to let the herp community (tampa and beyond) know about the Neil's apathy towards his animals. After visiting his store we were amazed at the fact he could sit in a room full of one lunged animals and smoke cigarettes one after another while watching Tv. Working at a reptile store in the past I knew no one who takes proper care of their animals has time to sit around and watch Tv, this was clear by the conditions of his animals and their habitats.

Once my roomate and I expressed our concern and disgust on the BOI we were torn apart by the majority led by Neil. When I wrote about him I mentioned a dead iguana carcass covered in feces still sitting in a cage while he was sitting watchin Tv. It is funny to think that turned into a joke for Neil, like it was absurd that King Neil would actually do that. Well he did and I saw it.

But now a year later I am glad things have changed. What goes around comes around, I guess and at least we wont have to see anymore obnoxious adds that say things like:

THESE KIDS ARE HUGE! EATING F/T RATS EVERYDAY!

PS. check out kingsnake boa classifieds, Neil is selling the worlds first Possible Het. for super salmon. I always thought Salmon was co-dominant, but I guess Neil has out done mendel's studies on gentics.

Wow, thanks Webslave! This site will be much more enjoyable without having to read through Neil's annoying drivel. He's gotten on my nerves since day 1, and I've always had him pegged as a jacka$$.

BTW, Neil, I can't believe that you would be so DUMB as to put something like that in WRITING when the reptile community is so small and tightly knit by the internet! Smart move GENIUS! LOL!

Me and many more were once taken in by the Neilster .... i remeber it as " it happened again" the old someone stole my stuff .. ALOT of us gave money to help neil out which we were inturn made fools of by all being taken for helping out a fellow herper ... in need ... after all that hoopla over "who did it " what do we have ... Neil gone ... ooo well atleast now we can concentrate on what important THE ONES LEFT HERE neil wont be missed
 
I do not think Neil is right in what he said, as I posted earlier. Yet I also don't think it is right to continue to bash and call him names. He is clearly respecting Webslaves wishes and not relpying. Two wrongs do not make a right, so I hope you all are done venting and this can die down.

Well, it has happened again and again in the past. Low profile for a while, "community service" if you will, and everyone will forget. Then a scarlet letter and back again at it.

He sent me a PM appoligizing as well, I am not instrumently in getting him to come back here.
People make mistakes, he was clearly wrong. I cannot say that I thought him being on here was totally bad. Wasn't there some good?
Anyway, I am not making light of his actions in any way shape or form, I just think enough is enough.
We have to show how the bigger person acts.:)

ohhh rozanne now you have commited a crime..your spelling.. now the spelling god with poor customer service values will be looking down on you.shame shame for this.i don't think this will die down soon.there are so many people who down right hate him..he has screwed the last person on this site and on the net i hope.but if he lays low he will get enough people to forget about him and poof he will be back.he has bashed dozens of people to no end on this site and now it is there turn to bash him and not be attacked by dozens of others for this.so the way i look at it is bash on folks.he is reading them everyday..tell him what you really think.

OK Jim, here's what I think of Neil

What do I think of Neil????????? Well, I think he's been known to be rude, arrogant, overly critical of others, childish, self centered, self promoting, egotistical, selfish, and many other things that escape me a this moment. Now many times he's also given helpful advise and even managed to make people laugh doing it. He's sold many wonderful animals to many happy customers. Yeah, there have also been the ones that weren't so happy, but that's covered in the second sentence of this post. I don't always agree with the way Neil has conducted himself on this forum, but I don't consider him a weasel. I know why the Web Slave asked him not to come back and I agree with that request.
Yeah, Neil has been a "butt" at times(that's "butt" not "a$$". I never call people an "a$$".) I still think after you weigh out the good and bad Neil is more "good" than "bad". Yeah, most won't share my opinion, but it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it.
I'll miss ya Neil, I hope I'm not the only one,but you knew "BAD KARMA" was going to bite you in the rear eventually.
By the way in case any of you are wondering........... Yes, I would still purchase animals from Neil. I have in the past and will continue to in the future.
Anyway that's what I think of Neil.
