In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Neil Gubitz=Good Guy

neil,
just FYI here
your latest post on the other classified forum "north brazilian red tail"... at best that animal is some sort of cross with a bci.....
north brazilian bcc generally have moderately peaked saddles and very unique intra saddle markings (dots dashes and lines) the color and placement of the side medalions are all off...
saddle count is 17-20 snout to vent
although brazili borders alot of the other contries... the north brazilians BCC and b.c.amrali are most cooon from this area. i would assume that near the boder areas especially around colombia maybe some integrate breedings happen.
and that has been the lesson of the day neil...
read it you might learn something
anywho AGAIN youre mislabling the animal and misleading the potential customer

might want to change that mistake too

wow look at this info coming from a person with the brains of a mite LMAO
what does that make you???

Robin,

Well said and you pointed out several great points. But I would like to point out a few facts here too.

Neil is a animal broker, He does not own or have these animals in his possession. So as far as the fact go about the snakes he is at the mercy of the actual owner and handler of the animal.
That is why Neil has sooooooo many MIS- represented animals and DOAS. He either goes to the owners home snaps off 1 or 2 photos or he has them e-mailed to him. I am not saying that there is anything wrong with brokering animal but only trying to point out the reasons Neil has these troubles.

0.1, cb-early-03, FEMALE NORTH BRAZILIAN RED-TAIL BOA!

Her body color is a lot lighter than your normal Colombian!
also,
north brazilians are BCC
you comepare her to a BCI...

what is she? both? <~~ thats what i think LMAO

She is sucking down adult mice with no problems
neonate bcc and juvi bcc under a year old dont suck down anything.... thry have very sensitive digestive tracts
they need very rigid feeding schedule at this age and if not properly fed will regurgitate

dave ,
i understand the brokering deal but he cant blame it on the owner... if he was educated in boas and researched what he sold he could tell that this animals is not pure braz bcc
it is no ones fault but his own and it's misleading the customer by mislabling the animal

Robin, I agree 100%

That is the point I was trying to make. If Neil would take the time to educate himself he would not have to take the would of everyone that he brokers for.

Neil is the type of person that thinks that he knows everything about everything and all he really does is mimic what he hears from others. The fact of the matter is he knows nothing about nothing. In the 5 or so years that Neil has been in the herp buisness he has learned nothing other then how to peak peoples interest in non- existent "NEW MORPHS" OR "MIS-REPRESENTED" SNAKES.

It is easy to take a crappy photo and over price the animal to 50% and then fall back on "I have a crappy camera" or the best one "I will discount the next animal you buy from me."

Neil is never going to change face it. He makes promise after promise and after a very short while the old Neil comes out screaming.

If you see a ad that he is lying in then people should contact the web master and report him, maybe then Neil will start to do the right thing.

It is plan and simple, Neil thinks that he can continue to sell bad animals as long as he correct it later if the buyer complains.....for a long time.

Steven, not sure what veiled situations you are refering to. If you have such a problem with me please take it up with me personally. You are quite welcome to call or contact me. I'm sure there are many people that are much larger than I will ever be. As far as i'm aware there have been no major problems between myself and anyone else in the herp community. Personality conflicts or difference of opinion yes. If anyone has a problem with a past or current situation they are welcome to contact me and discuss it as well. If this is true, that would certainly explain certain things. That also explains the quality of some of the pictures. In MHO there is no way one can guarantee the quality of an animal without haven't seen it personally. Again if you are assuring the prospective customers the animal is eating fine you are just going by what the current owner is telling you (second hand info). I would like to know if the brazilian boa (BTW the picture shows quite an empty posterior gut) is in Neil's possesion or not. Same goes for the GTP that will "rip you a new one".

Kindly.

When I said bigger I wasn't refering to size of business operations.

I'll contact you privately to discuss this, siince it is not appropriate to further hash out on this thread.

Daniel.... just for the record.... every animal on my site, with the exception of the Yellow/Green Anaconda "crosses", and the Purple-phase Albino Retic, I have IN MY POSSESSION at this time (come to my house and see for yourself).... they are ALL MINE.... bought and paid for.... and the N. Brazilian Boa came directly from Ben Siegel AS a TRUE N. Braz. Boa, if you don't think that's what it is.... take it up with him.... I trust Ben explicitly, I would NEVER argue with him.... if HE says it's a TRUE N. Braz Boa, then that's what it is.... but, if you still want to believe the fairy tales Lawson has been spewing, you go right ahead.... I'd stack my morals, reputation and knowledge up against his any day of the week! I don't have to steal animals from other's to make a living!

I'm through with this thread.... this will be my LAST post.... if ANY of you want to discuss this further.... my phone number is right below.... that's IF any of you have the guts to talk to me personally like a MAN would....

Neil

(come to my house and see for yourself)....

Only if you send me the airline tickets. ;)

.... but, if you still want to believe the fairy tales Lawson has been spewing, you go right ahead....

That's why there was a bolded "if" at the start of my post.

I'm not doubting it could have come from Brazil, particulalry if Ben says so. Intergrading occurs as Robin stated and it could very well be an "aberrant" individual.

If by any chance you are going to modifiy that ad and your web page, I believe the color is "mahogany" as it refers to that tree, and not "mohogany" (not that it's that important anyways).

Regards,

OK.... say what you will, but I will ALWAYS fess up to my mistakes if I make them.... I just got off the phone with Ben, and he told me it is a SOUTH Brazilian Boa and NOT a North Brazilian Boa.... oh well, go ahead, berate me some more, I can handle it....

Daniel.... I really DO appreciate the spelling catch.... I TRY to be as accurate as possible.... thanks

Neil

ok,
so what is it??
bci or bcc or bca??

i have never heard of of BCC from southern brazil
and that does not look like any south brazilian bca i have ever seen

bcc=sout brazil

the animal in question is actually a south brazilian amarali produced by barry miller-aka south brazilian redtail by some--but the real common name would be south brazilian amarali--it is a very rare locale of snake, but there are a few people keeping and barry is quite successful at breeding them--the picture in question is very fuzzy, and i cannot tell for 100% that it is the south brazil i sold, but i have no reason to doubt it as i did sell neil a pair for resale along with an amazon basin-Ben Siegel

Neil, It is easy to tell someone from another state to "come to my house and see for yourself." Neil, you said yourself a couple months ago that you have all your animals in a warehouse somewhere other then you apartment remember?

I know that you have 90% of you animals drop shipped Yea you may have 1 or 2 animals there.

and as far as me stealing animals to make a living, well my attorney does not want me to comment on that but I will say that you,Tippie and the HCSO know better.

But it is a proven fact that you sell sick and dying animals time and time again.

you have no knowledge of reptiles Neil so you have nothing to put up.

Keep selling gemstone Neil and get out of animals at least with rocks they do not die in shipping.

Hmmmmm

I am not Boa constrictor expert but this snake does not look like the Sounth Brazilian amarali I have seen.

amaraliorbci

I have seen pictures of Barry Miller's snakes for a few years on the forums, and his adults look nothing like that animal. That looks like a cross of some sort.

Hopefully.... this is a better picture.... does this help??.... I just can't seem to get this darn camera to take a really good picture.... I'm probably going to get a NEW camera soon....

south brazilian

although this snake does not ring an exact bell in my mind-i have received alot of south brazilian from barry--most seem abberant and stiped in my recollection to some degree-most are also missing saddles of some sort of another-as i said, i can not verify for 100% that the animal in the pic is the exact snake--i can verify for sure that i did sell neil a south brazilian, and that i have sold many south brazilians before, and they have all come from barry-some were absolute knockouts that went for $600+ ea, and a few of the leftovers tended to be average that went for very little money. Please feel free to verify my purchase with Barry at any time-Ben

generally south brazilian amarali have around 22 saddles snouth to vent and 4-5 tail blotches... it is a short tailed animal. the head patterns is different and so are the lateral markings. ben i undertsnad you sold neil some south brazilians from barry and i have doubt in that but that animal, i highly doubt is one of them.
