    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I picked these up from Robin Struck of R2Reptiles yesterday. First is Maggie I named her that because after talking with and meeting Robin she kind of reminds me of that girl from Million Dollar Baby. Everything Robin is going through right now and she still as that fighting spirit. Maggie is a Stripe/Jungle Bell Albino.

Staying with the MIllion Dollar Baby theme next is Scrap. He is a Partial Stripe or Aberrat Bell Het. He should throw some nice babies for me next season.

Last but not least is Rita. Rita because I got her the day Rita hit. She was a gift. Kelli had given her to Robin. Robin in turn gave her to me. I can not put into words what she means to me. Rita is a Hypo CT Bell Het.

Yah, Robin is very nice to work with. Great babies! They are so pretty! Great pics of the scalation!

And yes people, buy from her, she needs her geckos to go soon!
 
They're very beautiful! I also LOVE getting new additions!! Gets me all excited :p I almost bought a few from the NBHS Reptile Show this weekend... I kept going back and forth from the same tables and WANTING to buy but ended up not (my boyfriend almost bought one from Marcia of GoldenGateGeckos) - It was so hard to say no!!
 
Those are all AWESOME additions to any leo family! Robin has some really amazing leos and I hate she has to take a "medical break" but look forward to what she will be doing when she comes back!

She truly is... I really miss her here on Fauna. Too bad a couple of the mods here couldn't see her as a "diamond in the rough" and appreciate her for the countless contributions she has made to the Leopard Gecko and reptile communities.

GREAT geckos, Glenn!!! I can only imagine how much it is hurting her to have to give up her beloved geckos. I'm sure she is very happy that they are in your capable hands.
 
Robin is an awesome person!!! I didn't even know she was no longer allowed to visit here. What a shame!!! Ah politics!!! Can't stand them! I truly respect her for the fact she has always tried to strengthen her lines and work with what she liked even if it wasn't what the mainstream was involved in. Very nice new additions Glen thanks for sharing. I love to see Bells!!

"Diamond in the rough"? Sorry, but the "rough" WAY overshadowed the "diamond", in my opinion. Regardless of what contributions are made, I feel that it is in everyone's best interests that I try to limit a member's use of profanity and general verbal abuse towards others on this site. When point based warnings fail to impress that person, it really leaves no choice but to fine and suspend them, as a sharper warning, to try to curtail that sort of activity. To allow it to continue would send the wrong kind of signals to everyone else, having them believing that such activity is supported and condoned by ALL members on this site.

Just to set the record straight, I am the one who suspended her. In my opinion she was MORE then deserving of that action. After her receiving 80 warning points for basically the same sort of abuse over and over, I had had enough. If anyone has any doubts about my decision, I recommend that you review the pertinent postings she has made on this site and come to your own conclusion.

It only takes paying the $10 fine to come back, so the choice to do so, or not, lies squarely in her hands alone.
 
Webslave, you should just let it go. You know with the things she is going through right now, that is just petty. I think she is worried about much bigger things than a $10 fine you imposed.
 
Sorry but no, I don't know what Robin is going through. I haven't heard a word about her from anyone, and I have not had any reason to pursue such information. She is just not a topic of discussion that anyone I know has apparently had reason to bring up to me.

Sorry if my opinion differs from yours, but she definitely earned the fine and suspension when it was applied. I replied to this thread because of the possibility that some people may get the mistaken impression that such action was not warranted by the circumstances by implications in some posts within this thread.

As for "letting it go" I am not actively doing anything pro or con about this so how can I further let it go? Implications were made that inferred that Robin was treated unfairly on this site by some mods (likely me included). I felt that this was something that needed to have the record set straight before some people assumed it was the truth because it was not rebutted. It is standard procedure here that once someone is fined and suspended it is completely out of my hands until they contact me about paying the fine. It has been that way from the beginning, has not changed now, and probably will not in the future, regardless of who it is applied to and any circumstances surrounding their situation. Being "fair" is not always pleasant to the people it applies to, but that's just the way it is.
 
Rich, you and two of your mods were just fine with Robin.

Robin did deserve to be fined and suspended and I speak from personal knowledge on all fronts.

Rich does NOT have any responsibility to followup on members who are suspended and no one should think that he does.

I like Robin and I'm pretty sure she likes me. I still agree with Rich on this one.

I don't like to see anyone being served a steaming load if they don't deserve it and I don't think Rich does in this case.

Now, if someone wants to start a thread on steaming loads and who's delivered them I suppose I may have a contribution or two to make to that thread but for this here and now, I say it's fair.
 
I do not wish to turn Glenn's great thread about some beautiful geckos he recently acquired from Robin into yet another "who is right and who is wrong" dumpster of opinionated, rhetorical blather! I apologize if my previous post opened the door of opportunity for Webslave and Wes to jump on that 'all to familiar' bandwagon, but seeing as how Robin cannot come on here and speak for herself I think the subject of this thread should stay on the topic of Glenn's lovely new geckos. Mmmmm-Kay?

Wes, she has been BANNED. If you look up her profile, it says 'Banned'... not suspended - fine due. She cannot access the BOI, the suspended list, and cannot even access her private messages. BTW, Russ (her husband) has even been suspended and is not even using the same IP addy. If you want more info, send Robin an email.

Since I was under the ASSumption she was suspended I retract my earlier statements as I do not have the necessary background info to support them.

Suspension, I can easily see that. Banning, not my call.
