In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well since I started this thread I guest I should add my 2 cents.
First off, Thank you very much to everyone who made comments of my new geckos! They are all settling in very nicely and have all started eating and have clam down quite a bit since coming home.
I almost didn't even post them here because I was affaid it would stir up everything that it as and I am very sorry that we are going down this road yet again because of me.
I do think there needs to be rules as Webslave as pointed out. But I really don't think there is a right or wrong side on this case. It is a matter of egos. I think it goes much deeper than the last few post Robin made (which I don't condone). Robin was out of line. But I just think she was decussed with everything that led up to that. Emotions were running high serveral were trying to help a friend in need and I think feelings were hurt on both sides. Because of that I think it carried over to the banning of Robin. I think everything that led up to it as really hurt fauna NOT Robin getting banned but everything that lead up to it. What I mean by hurt fauna is I know activity on the leopard gecko boards especially as dropped off. I have noticed over the past few weeks the activity starting to pick up again. I love Fauna it is one of the best Reptile sites I have found. I have learned so much invaulable information I really hate seeing all of this happening now. The ironic thing to me is Kelli and Robin were the ones that lead me to this site.
As for Robin (for those that want to know) she is going to have to have a double cornea transplant. There will be almost a 2 year recovery time. So because of that she is having to sell most of her reptiles and that is what I think most where refirring to before it went south.
Now this is just how I feel. I have read all of the threads from before the auction started till Robin got out of hand. If I am wrong I am sorry it is just what I concluded after what I read. With everything I have said I just would like it to end here.
All I reallly wanted to do was show off my new babies. I have tried to be very picky about what bloodlines I have brought into my colony and I feel like I have continued this with my new ones. Thanks again to all that commented on the geckos!

The user title you see depends on which particular button was pressed to send the user on their way out of here pending payment of their fine. Both have exactly the same effect as far as the user is concerned. They are COMPLETELY blocked from the site until the fine is paid. COMPLETELY blocked means they cannot access ANYTHING on this site. But if it will make everyone feel better about it, I will click that OTHER button on Robin's membership account here to change the user title. It does NOT change her access privileges in the least.
Russ was suspended after he advertised the website shared by both him and Robin, and in effect was allowing that advertising to bypass Robin's suspension. There is precedent for me treating it that way by a similar situation on the BOI whereby someone got suspended and fined and his "mother" registered as a "business partner" to continue the posting. Russ also got rather derogatory to one of the mods at the same time. He is fully aware of the situation and I have no doubts that the situation concerning the suspension was passed on to Robin as well. I told him that as soon as Robin paid her fine, his suspension would be lifted as well. Apparently this offer was declined.
Russ sent me an email on August 18, 2005 asking why he had been suspended from this site. This is the response I sent to him:
I hope this explains things a bit more clearly. There appears to be a whole bunch of assumptions being made that could have easily been cleared up simply by asking me about it, or perhaps maybe even Robin or Russ could have accurately portrayed the situation.
