Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

unfortunately I learned at an early age to fake the funk. I realized I did not have to try hard. I was smnart enough so I did not try at all. What happened? My brain atrophied. But I spent my entire school age years chillin' I would get rewarded for passing a class. While my sisters worked for their A's and got nothing more than what I got. But they got rewarded later on in life. I am now me....wishing I would not have slept and partied through school. And as for them....One is a nurse Maried to a doctor. The other is a Doctor engaged to a doctor. But I have no one to blame but myself. My father always said.....study now and play a lot later with all the money you make....OR....play now with no money and work hard later for no money. Why the hell did I not listen to him?
 
Whenever I talk to someone's kid, I always tell them that had I just done the friggin work, I could have a degree now, paid for by someone else, and make lots of money.

The IQ thing amuses me. Some of you have really high IQ's - let me tell you!According to the manual for the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale - Third Edition (WAIS III), which is a standardized IQ test utilized by thousands of mental health professionals, here is the breakdown of IQ scores and what they signify:

130 and above very superior

120-129 superior

110-119 high average

90-109 average

80-89 low average

70-79 borderline (that would be for retarded)

69 and below extremely low

If I interpret the charts, that are located in the rear portions of this maual, as I read it right now, the highest obtainable IQ on this test is 155. If you score that high, you have a 95% chance of having an IQ that actually falls somewhere between 150-158 (in other words there is only a 5% chance that your IQ is outside that range).

This is a real IQ test, as utilized by professionals. The above IQ would be for Full Scale IQ that is a combination of verbal and performance skills. Of course some people may have taken valid tests that resulted in an IQ score of above 155, they would actually be pretty darned smart. Remember that if you score above 150, then you are in the greater than 99.9th percentile. In other words you results are equal to or better than a number larger than 99.9% of the standardized sample population. That makes you a pretty fart smella (whoops: smart fella).
 
You know... I never once had to take an IQ test when I was going to school. There were plenty of other standardized tests, but not one of them was labeled as an IQ test...

That having been said, I do agree with Uffern. Do the work, and it's quite possible to get a degree paid for by someone else (or atleast mostly someone else), and have the potential to find a well-paying job. (Depends on the degree, though... and the economy. At the very least, it reduces the chance of having to pay for student loans for the rest of one's life.) Ohyeah, and internships are a great way to get your foot in the door.

Does this thread really belong in this forum, anyway? Someone ought to start an IQ/Intelligence thread on the BS forum.
