HEHE...slapshot !!!!!!

I voted for strict enforcement - and stand by it. Without rules, the BOI would be no better than **HELL**. Right now, it's not too far off. And the reason is the ISN'T strict enforcement. The only time I've EVER seen strict enforcement of the rules is with my post.
If every off topic post got a warning point, I'd bet we'd see a lot less. But the fact is I see the same people posting off topic all the time, and I never even see a warning.
I, on the other hand, didn't think in a moment of excitement, and got slammed on my first offense - and was belittled on top of it. If you are heavy handed with one, you need to be with all. Not doing so sends the wrong message - especially to the repeat offenders that you let slip.

I would like to have an answer to the last question. It has been done in the trade board - and was effective. Why not clean up the clutter rather than adding to it?
I wish I could take back a few posts as well but I know it is here permanently.YOU have to take responsibility and ownership of the words you post here. So take great care in how you craft your statements. Once you submit your message, it will be here PERMANENTLY, no matter what happens afterwards.

How far would the cleanup go?
Would it appear that this was a censored site?
Would Fauna mirror another site that deletes posts by the dozens?
I would rather we just stick to the rules.
Rules for posting in the BOI.

The Trade Board at this time has two threads and its own moderator a lot easier to handle. It does not have a precedent as the BOI has for keeping posts as part of the permanent record, unless posted under a false or no name attached to the author.
Just my opinion.

I would have to agree with dennis after reading his post because the rules are laid out plainly for everyone to see. I too wish i could remove some of my posts (especially when i wanted to give Adam & Peter Another chance) but we all live and learn. I am not so quick to hit that "submit reply" button anymore. I make sure i re-read everything before i hit it just in case it doesnt come out the way i intended it to. In some ways it is a very good thing to know everything on the BOI is permanent, 10 years from now you just may want to look up something from a long time ago and be very glad its still there for proof!!!
LOL
