A slightly differing opinion ..
While I think most of us can appreciate that its Rich's site, and access determinations are his "right", I also do not think that was ever the issue. Agree to disagree, I think the concern here was not the "right" to do something, but rather whether it was the "right" thing to do. Looking through that lens, this instance legitimately questions both the admin for allowing the mod-forum to be used as Wes alleges, and that individual who is alleged to be of the spineless ones.
As for it being a matter of being "derogatory to Wes", I think we agree, but would suggest a look at the choice being made:
In this case, I think it is a bit of a surprise, because of the forum in which it is alleged to have occurred. Were it a PM between friends, its not even on the radar. Admittedly, this is all speculation on my part, and as such, its all just in the hypothetical.
