    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

While I think most of us can appreciate that its Rich's site, and access determinations are his "right", I also do not think that was ever the issue. Agree to disagree, I think the concern here was not the "right" to do something, but rather whether it was the "right" thing to do. Looking through that lens, this instance legitimately questions both the admin for allowing the mod-forum to be used as Wes alleges, and that individual who is alleged to be of the spineless ones.

As for it being a matter of being "derogatory to Wes", I think we agree, but would suggest a look at the choice being made:

In this case, I think it is a bit of a surprise, because of the forum in which it is alleged to have occurred. Were it a PM between friends, its not even on the radar. Admittedly, this is all speculation on my part, and as such, its all just in the hypothetical.
 
Well hell Skippy, I think I needs to get me one o them thar forum type thingies.

The only question is, who would use it and for what?

Hmmmmmmm, I suppose I COULD think of something ......ethics.....morals....hypocricy.....fun with words.....loyalty......honour.....false water cobras, the BEST snake currently available, calkings- a close second in the BEST snake catagory and then there's just plain ol' talkin with folks who don't hide their true feelings.

I'll give this some ponderation and let y'all know what I think.

What do YOU guys think? Would a Wilomn forum be something of interest?

Since not getting on the computer as much, therefore not reading as much I totally missed this and I am sure there are plenty more :rolleyes: I have missed too lol.
A few days ago I got my own forum on here. I (again) didn't see where Rich was going to stop doing it, I just asked for one when I saw it.
I can not see any mod forums, I do not have that access :shrug01:
For me though, I don't really care if I do or not. I know there is a principle there and all but I have begun to think ignorance is bliss. If someone wants to talk about me so be it. I know myself and that I am not afraid to lock horns anywhere being public or private and what I have to say can always be said to the person themselves so I haven't a problem with those that do not, they are the ones that have to live with themselves.
I totally agree with some of the statements before me. I CHOSE not to go down that path and stress out about what someone thinks. I have always believed that actions speak louder then words and it applies here as well.
Hey as long as my family, friends and critters are all alive and happy, then I am too a happy camper.
