    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

People can make their own judgements, but you have made no effort to fix this situation, other than asking me what I would consider appropriate, and then abruptly denying me.

It's rather sad that you can't even offer up the $25 I had to pay for the Provent A Mite.

Hopefully some other people can learn from my misfortune.

No effort was made other than asking my opinion of proper reimbursement, and then an abrupt denial of this.

I think that at least a partial refund would have been appropriate.

You are drawing a line here, and mapping out for the world to see, what you are willing to do and not do in such situations. It is of course up to future possible customers to evaluate how your customer service fits in with their purchasing plans.

so when someone pays you full price on an animal, your allowed to send it damaged with scale rot, infested with mites, and possibly a mouth injury...and yet when the person shows dissatisfaction and wants some for of reimbursement for having to fix issues you decided where not a big enough deal to mention....your going to throw out "its all or nothing" on them

how about you use that "all or nothing" advice next time you go to ship out a snake...if the snake isn't in perfect health....ALL aspects of the snake...you should ship NOTHING. as well as get paid for NOTHING. period.

your double standards will not work out well for you in the long run.

As I said, I don't think that anyone, including yourself would pay $400 for an animal if you knew that it had scale rot, mites, etc.

Despite the fact that the mites have been successfully treated and the scale rot will shed out in time, I should have been made aware of these issues before making any payments, and certainly before the animal was shipped.

I am not happy that I was forced to make negative public posts about your business, but I tried to deal with you privately to no avail.

I think at very least, some of my money should be refunded.

I am in 100% agreement here ,why should you miss out of shipping $ when it was the seller who knowingly sent you a snake they knew had issues of illness beforehand.At the very least you should either get a full refund or partial refund for this animal.Anything less and the sellers actions speak for themselves.

Am I the only one that is bothered by this? Since when do you spray the animal AND the WATER BOWL with P.A.M or Equate? The water bowl??? Seriously??? At first I thought maybe it was a typo, but you said the exact same thing at least twice.

Besides that...you knowingly shipped out an animal with scale rot. I don't care if it was $400, $4000, or $4 animal...shipping out known health problems without informing the buyer is inexcusably bad business practice.

I'd be pretty upset if I bought a $400 piece of furniture and it showed up at my house with the finish all scratched and marred...if I called the store, I'd expect them to come right out and repair it or replace it. If they said, "Oh, it's just cosmetic damage...you can fix it yourself with a little sanding and staining..." Well...let's just say I wouldn't be doing business with them anymore, and anyone within earshot (or cyber-shot) would hear about it.
 
Wow....So you not only shipped out a sick and infested snake, you give wrong information on how to treat the mites, and you also try to make the situation look as if you didn't know anything about the snake's horrible health. You didn't even have the b***s to let the OP know about any of it, because I'm pretty sure that you would have never sold that snake in that condition. Shedyourfears, I too just went through the samething when i recieved a snake from a member on this site that was infested with mites. Just get you some equate spray and a product called jurassimite. Take everything out the cage and spray it with the equate spray and let it really dry off, don't spray the snake oe the water bowl with it. Then take and spray the snake with the jurassimite but don't spray his/her head or face with it. This combo should knock those mites right out.
 
Wow this guy is a piece of work..Why did you even ask what she wanted,only to say no??..You can cry like a baby all you want,but your wrong here..I would never buy from someone who would not pay for return shipping on an animal that had problems they knew about but didnt tell me..Honesty and a few bucks could have kept you in "ok" terms...I wouldnt have doen any business with you even if you did everything the OP wanted..Just cause you still lied about the snake..Every view of this thread means you are deffinetly losing customers...Maybe you should study up on how to own a snake..I am sure they sells those at wal mart...Maybe you could also pick up a book on how to operate a business,again,I think you could buy that at wal mart as well...One thing you cant teach someone is how to be an honest,respectable person..So even with your books in hand,I would just breeze on past your animal adds...I know it would be nothin but trouble cause you are just like the others who want top make a quick buck..Maybe you should put the animals and customers before the dollar...Then you might actually make a few instead of SCAMMING people...

I did a search of your name here. It brought some interesting results. You have used this site frequently to post BOI inquiries on others as well as to post your own opinions. You've used our site for your own purposes many times. Now, you are squawking like a chicken about the very site you used because you were outed for sending out a sub par animal.

You are on my 'do not buy from' list, not only because I would not want to take care of stuff like mites and scale rot on my dime after paying, as your customer here did, premium price, but also because you've shown your true colors in the way you have used our site for yourself, and then dissed it.

I would NEVER spray any kind of "mite" treatment on an animal, unless it was the jurassimite.... Fortunately the PAM seems to have taken care of the problem.

Just so everyone knows, I have talkedto Vinny on the phone and emailed him multiple times about the issues and my dissatisfaction... but it wasn't until I made this post that he even OFFERED some sort of fix, which he quickly denied.

I'm happy to see that most other members agree with me, but it is unfortunate that this had to happen. I just hope no one else gets stuck in this web.

Wow, you know what this is a prime example of a flipper... Spend the extra $50 next time, buy from a breeder.

This guy is a real tool. I'd be absolutely furious if this snake arrived in that condition. And then to have him brush it off? Lol good luck making any sales on RC vinny.

Hey Vinny, I'm not really going to address you that much because I see that it would be pointless. You have the right to run your business anyway you see fit.
If it is your policy to send out a misrepresented undersized snakes with mites and scale rot and then keep the shipping the customer had sent you for a healthy as advertised animal, OK. Also, it's your policy to cost your customer more monetary damage by having them cover the bill to send back to you, there is not much any decent hobbyist/breeder or business person here can state to you.

You asked how you could fix this with your customer. The response from the customer wasn't out of line or overly demanding. Your response was unprofessional and frankly, just poor form.

Maybe Scale rot and mites is common with you and others that treat them as inventory,
We trade and buy all sorts of animals
but not for the majority of Breeders/hobbyist here that sell their own stock. It may be common in "YOUR" trade but not mine. I would be very upset and bending over backwards to please a customer if I sent them mites.

He dodged me, I got busy with other things and that is where we are today. He still owes me $175 because the female died. :shootfoot How's that foot? Seems you are either shooting yourself there or inserting it into your mouth. Are you really that clueless? You send out an at best sub-par animal and then attack the OP who has a complaint about you sending out NOT what was paid for and certainly not what you offered. I highly doubt your ad stated:

"For sale, mite infested ETB with scale rot and an upper RI all yours for $400.00. Act quick this one will not last."

Then you expect her to pick up the shipping back to you? It was your screw up (done knowingly would be my guess) sending out an animal with mites, scale rot, etc... Unloading something that apparently was not being properly cared for or just brought in and then you come here attacking both the OP and this site because you got all butt hurt being called out for sending out crap.

Grow up, be a man and issue the OP a partial refund for her time and efforts in bringing the animal back to health. It's your choice, you can either save your reputation somewhat or destroy it completely with a single decision. No pressure, but the clock is ticking.............

So let me get this straight. If someone sends you funds for an animal that you determine that they can't have in their state, instead of sending their money back you steal it?

No where does it state in your terms that you will not return shipping or charge the buyer for return shipping. The only thing it states is that you will ship on your dime if the animal dies.

I can understand a business not wanting to give partial refunds but the fair thing to do is at least offer to send her a label and cover the shipping back for a full refund. Come on, makes no sense in having your customer foot all the bills for an animal you sent out in sub-par condition with mites. What did the customer do to deserve such treatment? it's not apparent in this thread.

Look at how you felt when you received snakes with an RI and ticks and was hopeful that the seller was going to take care of you before one of them died. Is sending out a snake with scale rot and mites so different?
