In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ok i KNOW i bite my nails and i KNOW it's my shooter

but biting the middle finger of the right hand that feeds and cares for you is only going to get a big ol left middle finger

ouch, i've seen worse though :D

i've gotten worse bites than that from one of my male leos, lol

think of it as a battle scar LOL

oh, he didnt even get a good bite... he just got the front top teeth and bottom front teeth . (full open mouth biite) if he had bit me across my finger instead of up and down he would have gotten a full blown chomp and most likely much worse and possibly even flung across the room (reaction)

i hear ya, i was trying to get a piece of shed of one of my males fingers, i guess he was pissed at that time..he turned his head around and took a pretty good chunk out of my index finger..didnt stip bleeding for about 1 1/2 hours. it came as a surprise and he got himself flung..he wasnt hurt though...I WAS..but i suspect the "chunk" that was taken out of my finger was because he was flung...it was worse than a freaking tokay bite. and i've been bitten by those suckers too many times to count!

Oh My

Oh once, I got bitten by my male colombian rainbow boa and he left a bloody smily face on my right hand. oh the irony of that. He seemed rather pleased. Sometimes I think he likes the taste of my blood. Yeah I hear tokay bites hurt. If my leo bite me, Id laugh at him. and I've gotten some vicious rat bites too. they are small but go deep.

Leo bites, if theLeo means business, hurt like heck and never stop bleeding.
Ceaser got me one day three time...he got me so many times because I was trying to get him back in his bin and not fling him or drop him....I yelled and Derrick, my other half, came into find blood running down my arm on my shirt and all over the floor....we joked about stitches....I dont evenknow how many papertowels i went through trying to get the bleeding stopped....there were three seperate bites on two fingers.....
He hasn't bitten me since. But I don't really give him a chance....
Any one have a pair of welders gloves I could borrow?

I had actually just handled another male....so I think the scent was there. Then again, he still tries to get me if I am not careful.
He'd like to come live with you Sam! He misses you :)
What is funny is he is one of the most "romantic" males I have with his females. He is always very gentle and always licking them and half way cuddling....I dont get it...

Sure thing, I'll trade you Mutant Gecko and BullyGirl for him..... :spinner03

I can't wait to get Mutant and Bully home. They will love their new home....
You have some nice geckos up for sale! I cant wait to see them in person....

Ouch! That looks like it hurts Robin. He must have thought you were sweet and wanted to have a taste test. LOL. I’ve been bitten twice by two males and they let go right away. They must like me…

Interested in another male Cody?

The only other reptile that has tried to kill me is my pac man frog Bob....they have teeth...and put anything that moves in their mouth....I tried to dar Derrick to put his finger in front of Bob....he wouldnt do it...pansy...

Bob almost had me when I stupidly reached in his terrarium to adjust his water dish /pond....

I'm just glad I have never been bitten by my Beardies. I watch them tear up their pinkies or roaches and those teeth...ouch!

That’s probably the reason… :bawling:

I don’t know why but my leos rarely try to bite and are real calm. When I was bit twice I put my hand in the cage when it was dark. The leo obviously didn’t know what that (my hand) was a bit it.

The only ones I had problems with were Ceaser and another named Hector.
Hector has calmed down as he grew and is now a curious sweetheart.
It seems the males seem to be more pissy then the females...

Oh an I realize I wrote the frog is a reptile. He is an amphibian...but with those teeth he is more of a monster...those things can eat mice!

It was his way of communicating that he would very much like for you to stop biting your nails!

What a sweet 'lil guy........ :D

The worst part of the hand to take a bite...the soft area betwen the thumb and 1st finger. I had a Tokay grab me before I could grab him and he held on for over 15 minutes. That was the only time I have ever cussed in front of a room full of students! It bled for awhile too.
