My co-worker Stephanie brought her neice, Miya, over to my place to check out the reptiles this past weekend.

Autumn, my 21 yr old BCi, decided to put on a show and gave us a big yawn, pretty cool!

They also got a decent tongue shot of Lemondrop, my 12 yr old albino BCi:

She wanted to see a snake eat, so Ruby, sunglow corn, got the honors of showing off:

(yes, I fed on substrate which I don't normally do; yes I made sure none got in her mouth)

Miya refused to touch any of the snakes, even the baby corns and boas, but she did finally pet one of my leos. This is Pixel, the lucky lizard that got some pets (she's in shed):

Then Miya and I had some fun playing with my Xbox Kinect:

Even got Stephanie to play a little!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday this year!

Great pics. 21 year old boa, nice. How long have you had it. Looks like she is going strong.

Thanks!
I got her in 1998 at 9 yrs old. She was originally bought at a pet store in 1989, those people kept her for 2years but she was 'getting too big' so they gave her to a lady who had her for 7 years, then I adopted her. Back then she was only about 5.5', now she's close to 8', so it's true, they never stop growing. She's doing great for her age, has nice muscle tone, very alert and her eyesight is fine. Let me tell you, she packs one heck of a wallop when she bites! (she got me once in 12 years). :D

here she was when I first brought her home in '98:

SEEEEEEE! Those are some awesome snakes! And I love seeing the younger gen being interested and educated.

Wow, those are some awesome pics. I'm most impressed by the differences between '98 and present day! I've got a couple that are about to turn 10 years old, but I REALLY wish that I still had my boas that I got started with back in the early/mid 90's. I had just started to really enjoy them when I went through a nasty divorce and I saw no way to keep them.

Thanks for the pics!!
