    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Simply put, because then he is out EVERYTHING. You have his snakes, the proof that your snake died, everything, in YOUR hands. YOU have already been shown to be a liar, even when everyone else here can plainly see that it is indeed the same snake.

You could save yourself the shipping cost on the dead snake, you obviously ca nsee it is the same animal..... I would just ship his snakes back to him and be done with it.

Why are you so desperate to have the dead snake back, that you are panicking over the fear of him not sending it after you send his two LIVE animals??
 
Stephanie, are you saying that if he ships first, and you are satisfied that the snake in question is the one you sent, and good and dead, you will refund his initial shipping for sending you snakes that arrived alive, the shipping of the dead snake back to you, and return shipping of his snakes back to him?

First of all, they didn't force me to take my snakes back, I just wanted to end the situation. I care about them and want them back. How did I screw you over?? The only person who has lost out during this transaction is me. I got a dead snake, you got two live healthy snakes. Who got the better deal?

He'd object because the original deal was for him to receive a live snake! Now he's going to trust you to reimburse him for shipping AND send his snakes back ALIVE?

At this point, I'd take nothing less than $$ from you.

Considering I tried to work with you and if you would have just took my offer in the first place of returning your snakes or the value, all of this would be over with. Instead I am being smeared around these sites, making me look like a bad person. When all I really want is some proof I didnt give you 3 snakes in total. If you really have any deicentcy you would accept my offer cause Im offering to pay you for the shipping to me of that "dead" snake. You shouldnt have any reason to turn that down.

Clarify for me how you got screwed over?

The OP :

Made a claim of receiving a dead snake from a trade deal and provided picture proof.

The Shipper :

Made a claim of the OP shipping by USPS ( a federal offense ) and that the OP swapped her live snake for a dead on perfect match dead snake.

Who got screwed over on this?

I'd like to see all these big breeders with the " It sucks to be you if the animal you paid for dies in shipping " clause. I'm sure you can provide that correct? I mean its not like conveniently tossing the box that was shipped Fed Ex when you claimed it shipped USPS. I'm sure you can find the TOS pages of " most " breeders that have a " screw you " clause to support your side.

After 8 years, you should know better than to place the heat pack OVER the snake....it's the whole heat rising thing....I knew that before my first shipment, and I ain't been shipping too long. Also, IF I was contacted by a buyer who sent pics showing a DOA, I'd make damn sure to replace or refund it at MY expense. This is the risk a shipper incurs, which is why dilligence in packing is crucial.

And nope....not typos!

Stuffin, your original "deal" left something to be desired. Returning his snakes was all fine and dandy, but you left out the money he spent sending you live snakes for your belt.I Kow it's tough to bite that bullet, but THAT would have been the fair resolution.
If I paid 300 shipped for something, and it died, and I was offered 220 refund, I would have told the seller to stick it in their pooper.

Second of all I didnt set the snake ON the heat pad just over it. I had insulation over the heat pad between the snake and the pad. I stated that I put the snake over it so that people would know I didnt put the pad on top, or on the sides of the container the snake was in.

I also paied shipping too you know. That wasnt added to the $300 price tag on the snake. I originaly asked for $300 shipped in the ad. But he only offered me something worth less then that. So I agreed he pay his side of the shipping and I pay mine. Im done with this. Any conversation between me and him will be done in emails. All this place is , is a circus show for people to come and throw fruit and veggies at someone for fun.

A. Had Fedex with me when I packaged.
B. There is no proof from him that I packaged badly, heck he aint even claiming I packaged it wrong.
