    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think Uncle Morti should open up that thread and make sure all the other readers over there know that Brian did not ship snakes via usps as claimed and that he was not scamming Muffin. Seems far since it ends with him looking like a liar.
 
There is another thread that was started there this morning and I made a comment about the USPS issue so at least the issue was raised..

You closed the threads immediately and as you mentioned in your above post somewhere, you generally send folks here for arguments about reptile commerce, and the BOI was made for that. That's about the best that could be done because here is where people come if they want to check on commercial deals.

So both sides will have people checking here if they want to plan a biz deal with either party, and the thread here has had people plainly speak their feelings, and I did too, about the USPS deal.
 
Donnie in all fairness you should post a link to this thread in both of those on your site. As has been mentioned little miss muffin seems to have a hard time with the truth and has painted the true Victim in this matter as being a scamming con artist, Those who have read and responded to those two threads have a very inaccurate view of this deal and may view Brian as being a bad guy when in fact he was the one being done wrong... Randy

Jeeez Didn't she say bills come first. Generally that means one actually pays a bill and doesn't buy another snake.

Stephanie I hope that your lack of further response is for one of the reasons I mentioned above. This isn't worth completely destroying your reputation over. Well Ive returned . As you suggested there is a lot of things I need to answer for. A lot has been brought up. And yes I have been busy. I am on a night shift schedual. I fear however by the time this thread got to page 5 I was already tar and feathered.

I would like to first say that the pictures that he sent to me. Did in fact not look like my snake. Weither what the reasons were, the snake didnt seem to have any markings like mine did when I shipped it to, on its head. After some of the skin has been pealed back I can now see that it is possibly the same snake. I am willing to admit I was wrong there. But in doing so I also hope that anyone seeing this can understand why I thought it was not the same snake from what I was looking at. I didnt know the snake was in shed when I sent it. It did not have the usual fogged over eyes trademark that can commonly tell you that the snake was in shed.

About the shipping issue from him I never once threatened him with anything due to the method of shipping I thought he sent the snakes in. I even stated that I wasnt sure. That I could have sworn that it was a usps box, and at that time I didnt even know the rules had changed about shipping animals through the usps so I didnt consider it an issue at all when I said that. It was not my intention to claim he was breaking any laws in doing so. The last time I shipped through usps and yes I have in the past. It was still leagal then and it has been years since I did that. I use to ship bantams to people when I raised them. And I shipped geckos as well. At that time it was leagal. Trust me the usps would have said something to me when I walked in with a box with photos of chickens on the side, air holes all around, and a clucking little bird inside if it was illegal to do so. So I hope you all know I was not trying to point a finger at him when I mentioned the way I thought he had sent the snakes to me. I was not trying to detour the blame off of me. Or get him in trouble in any way by stateing what I did on redtail boa in the begining.

All this time everyone has focused mainly on those two things. Prosicuteing me to the fullest. Dogging me, saying rude things about me... being horrible and unjust to the fullest. While totaly ignoreing the fact I did try to fix things as soon as I found out what happened.

Any respectable person would try to fix things right away. And I think that I did try to fix things. This is my first time ever having a DOE after 8 years of shipping animals. This is the first time Ive ever had to deal with any situation like this. I seaked help through my friends, the only thing I knew to do so that I could do the right thing properly from people that had experianced such things before like this.

In the process a lot of mistakes, misunderstandings, and so forth have resulted to this. Im now a bad guy in the eyes of BOI. I hope all of you are satisified. And I hope you all stop and think about this a little. And put yourself in my place for just a momment to understand a little better. Make fun of me if you will. It wont change my mind any if you do about how this site works. I always respected this site up untill now and I am honestly saddened that all this has taken place.

To answer this question. I bought this snake atlease a week before I posted this thread. At that time I was still working things out with Brian. I didnt think that I would be needing to rush on getting anything to him cause he and I had decided that we was still trying to work things out. Money goes by fast when you think about it. When I bought that snake posted there. I still had time to ship anything to him, with out worrying about bills. Its just been herre reicently that Ive had to buy a lot of things I didnt nessisarily know I would need to buy at the time. So now Im short on money. That doesnt make me a bad person. It doesnt make me poor. It simply makes me responcible. Missing a payment on my morgage, or car payment is something I have to prevent. If that means I have to make Brian wait a little while to get his balls back then so be it. I wont lose my house or car cause someone is impatient.
 
Stephanie, maybe if you posted some of your email correspondence with Brian regarding your attempts to return the snakes/$300 to him would help.

The emails that were posted on behalf of Brian don't show that this is what was said, and from what I can see - he didn't seem like he was demanding animals of you and that you were offering up your gravid Hognose freely.


As for the post that mentions the $300 boa purchase and not using that money on refunding Brian - that deal could've been put through awhile ago when the funds were available and not going to cover the costs of a dead snake. It's not right to assume even though it looks that way.
 
Your not fooling anyone Muffin girl, and that is what makes you mad. The truth hurts and you got a big dose of that.

I especially liked reading on RTB how we are an angry mob that has been staking out your home. Public info is public info. How do you not understand that???

Personally, I think your about 13 years old.
 
It has been illegil to ship SNAKES through USPS for a long long time, like several years.
It's not a sudden change in rules. No one said anything about shipping chickens or geckos.
All your stuff about being attacked, and how you're maybe wrong, means nothing, if you don't ship his snakes back, healthy and at your expense.
Make it right, instead of taking even more time saying how you AREN'T a scammer, and then maybe someone will believe that you're not a scammer.

I know this all too well. I would have posted the emails proving what I did but the fact is, I emailed him in responce to his first email when he got the snake saying it was dead. He did not return the email to me by the end of the day and I decided to call him since I could not contact him through email. I was paceing all day trying to figure out what to do. When I got him on the phone he had cooled off some since his email to me and I was thankfull for that. Cause I was panicing by that point. I offered right off the bat the only thing I knew that would solve this problem. I offered to send the snakes back he sent me, or to pay him $300 for the snake he was suppose to get alive from me. He said he didnt want either one. He told me he wasnt sure what he wanted at this point to make it right and asked if I would give him some time to think it over. I told him yes and then we started making small talk. In the process of talking he asked me what all I owned. I told him what I owned and at first he wanted my tremper giant leopard gecko male. I told him it was not mine to give honestly, that I bought it originaly for myself but my boyfriend husband whatever you want to call him ( we reicently got married so I some times still call him my boyfriend with out thinking, its habbit ) but that the gecko he wanted, my boyfriend had grown attached to it. I couldnt give something to him like that when it would anger the person Im living with. He then asked me for my hognose snakes. I told him that they were mateing and the female was gravid from what I could tell. I didnt want to give them to him but at the time I felt it was the only thing I could do since he didnt want my money or the balls back. After speaking to the people on redtailboa they convenced me along with the pictures he sent me which I didnt believe was the snake at the time cause of how it looked. That he was scaming me. I admit this all has been a huge mistake and Im still at this very point in time trying to right the wrongs. Cause Im not a bad person. Ive never ripped anyone off. Ever.
