Man, I raised them for years, still do to a small extent, but had the smallest of the bantams....the ones where when the babies hatch, they look like little bumblebees, lol....and without an inordinate amount of effort, I had baby chicks in all stages (hcatching was once every 5 days the way I had the incubation set up) coming out of my ears.

Regardless, shouldn't it be fairly simple for those more computer literate than I to tell when that TOS was put up?

We are sorry, but as of right now we do not currently ship live animals outside of the United States.
All animals sold or traded are guaranteed to be healthy and in good condition when shipped.
We do take PayPal &/or Credit Cards via Paypal. There is a 5% processing charge on all payments made online.

The Live Arrival guarantee is void & null if we are provided incomplete or erroneous shipping information or if the package is delayed or lost. Remember these are live animals, please be thorough and provide us with complete and correct shipping information so that your shipment will arrive at the scheduled time. The guarantee is also void & null if there is no one home to receive the package when the first delivery attempt is made. The live arrival guarantee is also null & void if the temperature reaches below 45F or above 90F on the delivery route, at any point during delivery.
Once an animal has left our hands we are no longer able to garentee its safety in transit.
All we can garentee is that the reptile shipped was healthy, packaged properly and shipped properly.
Elements are beyond our control but we will try to do everything possible to make sure your new pet will get to you safely.

We reserve the rights to hold shipment depending on extreme weather conditions.
All snakes will not be offered until they have shed and are established feeders.
Every effort is made to portray each animal honestly and fairly. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately to arrange a refund, replacement, or credit. If not contacted within 2 hours after you recieve a DOA, with pictures of the shipping materials and the dead animal then a refund is void. Shipping charges & online processing fees are not refundable. We must be notified in advance of any and all returns.
If in the unlikely case a purchessed animal arives dead, please send the package back with the animal in dry ice to insure that it is the animal you purchessed from us. If you refuse to do this then the refund can not be made. In the case of a trade your animal does not arive alive then I am sorry to say that is your lose. We will refund your money for shipping but that is all.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to know and comply with all state, county, and city regulations regarding the keeping of constrictor snakes. It is also the buyer’s responsibility to know and abide by all pet restrictions/requirements put forth by landlords or homeowners’ associations. I am in no way responsible for any fines or confiscations due to buyer negiligence in these areas. The buyer also has the responsibility to ensure that the purchase of the snake(s) is agreed upon and allowed by everyone else in the household. I will not knowingly sell to minors, and am in no way responsible if the buyer’s parents, spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, roommate(s), etc. decide not to allow the snakes in the house (or change their mind later on down the road). I always offer the ability for them to be sent back to me to avoid being dumped or abandoned, but will not pay shipping costs nor issue any kind of reimbursement or refund. There is so much in this thats so piss poor, its not even sadly funny. For the life of me , I can't really find anything in this that would offer a customer any sort of warm & fuzzies that they would be dealing with someone worth a damn. I think there is more in this about why she won't refund in case of a DOA than there is reassuring the customer that they will be taken care of.

Its a shame when folks try to play a game and don't know the rules. Reminds me of a monkey and a football for some reason.

Judging from how specific it is to the situation at hand, and how sharply her writing/spelling skills decrease when it gets to all the live arrival issues, I think she cut and pasted the previous bits when she made the site, the went back and added in whatever she needed/her rtb buddies said that made it through her selective hearing to cover her buns retroactively.

Yeah, no one in their right mind would ever do a trade (or purchase) with her in the futureever after reading that kind of TOS.
In addition, there is a notice issue she does not seem to be aware of; you can put up all kinds of fine print anywhere you want, but the purchaser is not bound if he has no notice or did not sign something to the effect that the transaction was subject to a TOS.

This is sad.
There are a lot of good folks here. If she had simply immediately owned up, made the transaction good, and come asking for help, she would have found lots of advice about shipping, kitchen issues and such.

Plus, if she is running a real biz, various mishaps are covered by biz insurance and sometimes losses are deductible so maybe she could have recovered some of any loss she may have born.

But to me it looks like she is continuing to try to explain away her serious errors; not only is she butchering her reputation (more people than she could even think check this site prior to purchase) but she is working on losing all the potential mentoring she could have got here.

New buisness starting off slow.

Well I decided to finally do something with my time. I thought about it for a long time. Started selling poultry but its really hard to keep them alive after they are hatched. So I have been getting really discouraged on that. Then it hit me like a foot to the nuts. LEOPARD GECKOS! Yeah Im gonna start breeding leopard geckos. They dont cost as much to house as chickens, they dont take up as much room as chickens, and they are easier to keep alive. Ive never heard of one dieing cause it got too cold or too hot. You dont have to feed them expencive food like chickens. Just crickets will do the job. So this is my decision. Anyone and everyone that is my friend and wants me to be successfull please donate a little to the cause and I will promise you that you will get either your money paied back to you later on when I get some buisness rolling in, or give you something from my gaia account as a thank you for helping me out. I have already gave one girl a nitemare headband for donateing $25. Just offer an ammount and I will let you know what you will get in return. Plus, anyone that donates atlease $40 to me, will get a baby gecko when I have some available. Thanks, and please be nice.

Leopard Geckos don't die because they get too hot or cold? Chicken feed is expensive? $15 or so for a 50 lb bag of baby chick feed, do you know how long a 50 lb bag of feed lasts baby chicks smaller than a quarter??? She can't even afford to buy her breeding stock, has to beg for donations to buy them, but can afford to breed them????

I could go on forever, but I get the feeling it's, well.......pointless. Unfortunately, once again it's the animals that will suffer for someone's freaking stupidity. And it really ticks me off.

I'd agree with you there Chuck, But the fact that those panties are covering up a lobotomy scar makes me want to run in the opposite direction. The name "sadistic muffin" might be a hint as to why the snake was dead when it arrived.


She hasn't got the money, time or space for animals, but she continues to purchase new ones. She hasn't got the knowledge and probably won't take the time to learn. Most people would make sure that they have all of the above covered BEFORE getting animals. Anything less is cruelty, IMO.

I sent a message to a judge I know of. Seeing if he will take my case. I plan on getting this handeled professionaly now. The BOI was a laughing joke. All they did was come in with a bag full of rotten fruit an veggies. Ready to throw them at the accused. A total circus act of clowns. I tried to explain my side and they all refussed to hear anything I said. I didnt get hardly any sleep last night this thread he made esculated to 48 pages by today. And its all just people making fun of me. Calling me names. Refusseing to even see the fact that I tried and tried to send him his snakes back or refund his money. I havent even said anything about how he shipped, cause I dont find that an issue.

Dont worry dear, I dont plan on createing any problems. Im just simply looking for some contact information to who can help me with this thread on the BOI. They have numerously repeatedly called me names on that thread, almost in every post. Its considered harassment in my opinon. Ive reported people but Im afraid nothing has been done. The same people keep posting the same things over and over, I just want this to be stopped .

The privecy pledge at the bottom of the site even says, that anything given to Fauna classifieds when registering is privet and will not be given out to any companies or any individuals. If you check my profile I do not have my home address posted there, and when I joined my home address wasnt even the same. Nore my phone number. So how could I have released my information to them?

My phone number is a privet number. If someone looked up my number then that would violate the terms I had with my phone company. This however is not the case. Someone posted my information with ill intent. Building up a mob while doing so. Imagine yourself in my position for just a momment. I really dont see why this is even argueable.

I understand that much. And I appologize ahead of time if I seem a little defensive. I hope you can understand why I find this an issue. And why there is a privecy warning stated at the bottom of fauna classifieds page. Cause people's privet information is privet. Despite any fact that someone can find it out on thier own.

I still find that moderator unbelievable. It is hard to see the privecy disclosure at the bottom of the site's page then see a moderator say that to you. It contradicts everything the statement says .

First, you posted your phone number right here in a Ad. Second, it can't be considered private when you are using it to conduct business.

Third, nobody needs that information to do a search on you. All they would need is your screen name (s) and email addresses that you freely have posted all over the net.

You have posted that private number openly on several forums. Including on someones very public myspace page.

If you didn't lie about the way he shipped, if you didn't lie about being a breeder for eight years, if you hadn't kept giving excuses as to why you shouldn't be responsible for causing the demise of your animal, if you hadn't threaten this site, more would probably have been more sympathetic to your situation. With your blog entry that you got into reptiles to turn a quick buck and they wouldn't die as easily as chickens, the entire reptile community across all forums can see what you are about.
