In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

OukanJordan/Sadisticmuffin/Stephanie Hawkins BADGIRL

has anyone addressed her other account here at fauna???

I would really hate to have her posting any of her "deadstock' here to sell.

Has a mod looked into that??? I believe it was under CGBG geckos or something.

I don't know guys. For me stupidity and lying make even the prettiest people ugly IMO.

Geez give the poor girl a break! If that post was made in 2006 she would have only been like 5-6 years into her illustrious 8 year breeding career. Not nearly enough time to have mastered such concepts as viviparous embryo development.

I feel bad for any animal that comes in contact with her, but more importantly, I weep for her children.

This is exactly the kind of person who should never reproduce, or vote.

Mostly she has just made me want to vomit.

I agree wholeheartedly. Ok, so she's a small time scammer.

But the thought of her raising children, setting this kind of example for them of how to behave is truly revolting. That and the possible health issues that Rich brought up concerning keeping reptiles in the kitchen.

If she and I were in the same state, I would seriously consider filing a complaint with Child Protective Services.

Granted, all I have to base that on is what I've read here, but based on what I've read here, there's no way in hell she's fit to be a parent.

Her terms for the most part was copied from Sisco Reptiles. The bold is what she copied word for word. The green is what she added.

We are sorry, but as of right now we do not currently ship live animals outside of the United States.
All animals sold or traded are guaranteed to be healthy and in good condition when shipped.
We do take PayPal &/or Credit Cards via Paypal. There is a 5% processing charge on all payments made online.

The Live Arrival guarantee is void & null if we are provided incomplete or erroneous shipping information or if the package is delayed or lost. Remember these are live animals, please be thorough and provide us with complete and correct shipping information so that your shipment will arrive at the scheduled time. The guarantee is also void & null if there is no one home to receive the package when the first delivery attempt is made. The live arrival guarantee is also null & void if the temperature reaches below 45F or above 90F on the delivery route, at any point during delivery.

Once an animal has left our hands we are no longer able to garentee its safety in transit.
All we can garentee is that the reptile shipped was healthy, packaged properly and shipped properly.
Elements are beyond our control but we will try to do everything possible to make sure your new pet will get to you safely.

We reserve the rights to hold shipment depending on extreme weather conditions.
All snakes will not be offered until they have shed and are established feeders.
Every effort is made to portray each animal honestly and fairly. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately to arrange a refund, replacement, or credit. If not contacted within 2 hours after you recieve a DOA, with pictures of the shipping materials and the dead animal then a refund is void. Shipping charges & online processing fees are not refundable. We must be notified in advance of any and all returns.

If in the unlikely case a purchessed animal arives dead, please send the package back with the animal in dry ice to insure that it is the animal you purchessed from us. If you refuse to do this then the refund can not be made. In the case of a trade your animal does not arive alive then I am sorry to say that is your lose. We will refund your money for shipping but that is all.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to know and comply with all state, county, and city regulations regarding the keeping of constrictor snakes. It is also the buyer’s responsibility to know and abide by all pet restrictions/requirements put forth by landlords or homeowners’ associations. I am in no way responsible for any fines or confiscations due to buyer negiligence in these areas. The buyer also has the responsibility to ensure that the purchase of the snake(s) is agreed upon and allowed by everyone else in the household. I will not knowingly sell to minors, and am in no way responsible if the buyer’s parents, spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, roommate(s), etc. decide not to allow the snakes in the house (or change their mind later on down the road). I always offer the ability for them to be sent back to me to avoid being dumped or abandoned, but will not pay shipping costs nor issue any kind of reimbursement or refund. PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU BUY!

We strongly urge anyone considering the purchase of a live animal to thoroughly research the care requirements for that animal prior to making a purchase. We are more than happy to offer any assistance that we can regarding the animals we sell.

Sounds like her whole life is a series of lies. Basically what I get out of her stipulations is that if you want to buy a snake from her it is guaranteed dead. If you are the purchaser you don't have anything protecting yourself. Now tell me anybody who would do business with somebody like that? Nobody besides stupid me! Of course I didn't find any of this out till now, but it was a good learning experience.

Now that's the biggest load of horse manure ive ever read in a TOS... Ever.

What "Live arrival guarantee" is that in reference to. I don't see anything in either her, or sisco's TOS that would indicaute athat anything is guaranteed to arrive alive.
Everything else in the TOS contradicts any mention of live arrival being guaranteed.
It might as well say "We guarantee 100%, or your money back, and a hat, and a box of thin mints, and we will even do a little dance...your snake will arrive alive! Of course, unless it dies. If it doesn't die though, we guarantee it'll be alive!"

oh wow, shoulda proof read that one instead of 90 proofing it. I am gonna crawl back in my bottle now.

maybe it was covered already, but ill throw it out there,

sadistic = sexual gratification gained through causing pain or degradation to others

muffin = everybody's favorite breakfast food... but, also a slang term...:duck01:

I'd think twice before sending money to someone with that screen name.

Here is another quote from Muffy over at RTB:
I have a pair of red tail boas, pastel lines. The female is 4ft long and the male is 3 ft+ long . Ive never sold any boas or really looked in on the prices. What would you consider a fair price for this pair. Im needing to sell them for personal reasons. There is nothing wrong with the snakes at all. Im just having some relationship problems. My fiancee is afraid of large snakes. 7-31-07

Personally, I would appreciate if you didn't draw us (Sisco Reptiles) into this. If someone complains about receiving DOA animals from us (Sisco Reptiles) and the issue is not resolved by us, than by all means, question us and our TOS, but you will find that I have had great success in shipping in the many years I have been doing so. You will find that our customers will have nothing bad to say about us, our shipping or our terms.

Our terms of service merely state that if you purchase an animal from us, it will be healthy. It will be guaranteed to arrive live if the temps are above 45F, if you give us a correct physical address, if you are home to receive the package and as long as the package isn't lost because of error from the shipping agent. It is hard to guarantee an animal will live at 25F, if it is bouncing around from place to place because there is an incorrect address supplied by the customer, if the customer is working all day and the package is sitting in the snow (or direct sunlight in Arizona) on their porch, or if the shipping company looses the animal in the back of a warehouse for several days in the middle of a Maine winter. My terms are intended merely to place a guideline on my website so that a potential customer knows what to expect when dealing with me, before placing an order. Most of my terms are pretty well common sense.

Rick
