    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have been scammed by her as well and plan on opening a thread. I have all of our conversation logged in texts. She didn't send what I asked for, made me wait weeks, sent DOAs, agreed to refund, gave me excuse after excuse, sent and echeck through paypal, echeck was declined for insufficient funds. Then I was continually lied to again. Finally, paypal had to open a claim.
 
This gal is a real piece of work. I have a down-right ridiculous amount of emails and texts with her, excuse after excuse. What a mess. We'll get this posted up. Odd timing, as I have also filed a paypal dispute with her. She is no longer talking to me and says that paypal is now responsible for it. We'll see what happens. I'm 1k in the hole now ...I have pretty much already kissed my hard earned money goodbye.. but that sure as heck doesn't mean I am not gonna put up one serious fight for it.
 
Just out of curiosity, what Panther locale(s) was she selling? Please post any other personal info either of you, Zach &/or Tom, might have - phone #, address, emails, etc.

I had asked for 3.2 Sambava and 3.2 Nosy be. She took weeks to ship, after telling me tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. When she finally shipped, she decided to just send me Ambilobe, after I told her numerous times what I wanted. She claimed these were 1 -2 months old, but they were only days old when they arrived and she only sent 5. When they arrived they didn't look well and within a day 2 died. She offered a 15 day health guarantee and then said she would ship my next 5. When she shipped them, they arrived DOA. I have an entire conversation of text messages saved from my verizon wireless account. Her number is (760)208-9119 and her email is [email protected]. She claimed she would give me a full refund for my hassle and has strung me along ever since. This has been going on since 02/15/2013. I am almost at my 45 day mark with paypal so a claim had to be filed. I would like to make my own Bad Guy thread and post all the text messages. I recently PM'd the moderator to review my post before posting. I haven't heard back yet, but I want to make sure I am following the rules properly.
 
My situation was a complete mirror of Tom's. Complete mirror. How unfortunate. So incredibly disappointing.

Pending guidance from the moderators, I will be posting a "bad guy thread" as well.

Looks like, for reasons unknown, Paypal cannot do anything.

I am simply out on my money. This makes me not even want to deal with herps outside of my own personal collection.

I am on hold with paypal right now. Apparently, they cannot help the buyer who make transactions on animals, cars, or electronics. How terrible, the person took me for $650.00. No wonder she tried to push a $2,000 english bulldog on me and wanted it paid on paypal. Fortunately for me, I didn't want another dog. I feel horrible for all those who are being scammed by her.
 
I am guessing, she was new to the trade. Started breeding and trying to market. Figured she didn't have the time or initiative to keep going, oversold, underproduced, and had losses. Accepted money (perhaps in poor financial standing overall). Kept seeing light at the end of the tunnel, then the tunnel just caved in.

Again, I take blame for being so naive. But, nevertheless, I think this is the last straw for me and the 'reptile trade'.

Good in some ways, as I will no longer waste money or time trying to make it in such a crooked industry (no disrespect to all the honest and professional people out there).
 
Yes, I called my bank. Luckily, one of the payments out of my paypal was pulled directly from my checking account that is linked to a mastercard debit card. With that payment, I was able to dispute, because banks do not have rules on animals.

Her facebook page in my opinion is irritating. She clearly doesn't know what she is doing and will continue to use that page to steal money from people.
 
Talking with April via email now. She is fully ensuring me that I will receive a refund, not in the form of paypal soon. We'll see what happens :(
 
Don't hold your breath, she told me that too. Then sent an e-check that was cancelled for insufficient funds. Continued to give me every excuse in the book.

What did you say to her in email? I figured she would avoid us entirely once the claims with paypal were escalated.
