    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys continue posting on here to share how things pan out please. I ordered a male ambanja from her on the 22nd and so far she keeps pushing shipping back over and over. I hope I have an experience more like Chris Murray's or the first few that posted. And I do hope everyone gets everything settled. Please just keep updating. Thanks.

Serena, she did the same to Zach and I. She pushed shipping back for weeks, and lied to us over and over again. I hope it works out for you, but I am skeptical. She told me back in early March that I was her last customer and all her chameleons were sold. :shrug01: I hope you didn't pay using your paypal funds. Paypal will not refund you if they arrive DOA or not at all.

At this point, do you really want to wait around and hope that you end up being one of the lucky ones who doesn't get a DOA, assuming that she sends you anything at all? Animal sale or not, considering that she can't provide a valid tracking number since she hasn't sent you anything, PayPal may be more inclined to issue a refund for non-receipt of your purchase. It may be in your best interests to bail on the transaction and request a refund. If/when one isn't given, I have to think you'd have good odds with PayPal.
 
I'd have to agree with apex. Being that you didn't get a tracking number and nothing was shipped. I wouldn't expect anything from this girl and if you do get something it will be terrible quality, DOA, or 1 day out of the egg. Possibly, paypal can get your money back. However, they told me last night there is nothing they can do for live animals, cars, or electronics.

I think that a lot of it may come down to luck of the draw. For every person who PayPal has told that they're SOL, there's another person who they actually helped. It'd seem that some PP employees are actually willing to delve deeper into the problem than just seeing the situation is involving animal sales and saying that there's nothing they can do. I do think that the fact that she was never sent anything would work in her favor. Either way, it'd seem that this seller doesn't intend to issue refunds of her own volition, so being proactive wouldn't really put ReptileLover47 in any worse of a position than she's already in.

Do not allow her to send you an e-check through paypal, because it will be cancelled for insufficient funds. Do not buy that she is sending you a certified check, because it will never arrive. Tell her the money must arrive in your account today and demand it. Good luck to you! Jim @ the chameleon company will take care of you. I wish I would have just given him my $ and I wouldn't be in this mess. Unfortunately, he didn't have any at that time, but neither did April.

I'm sorry to hear that. And, again, thanks for the advice and info. I'm looking into a blue bar ambilobe w Jim right now. :) I guess this just shows why we shouldn't try and take the easy way out. lol. It does suck when you don't hav that much to spend and this happens.
 
Her continued emails as of this morning (the emails start at the bottom and then go up). I am not even debating her anymore, she just keeps sending flagrant messages. What in the world, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!!

She offered me to Zach as a reference for her. That was a total lie after all her and I were going through. Did she just assume he would believe her and he wouldn't call me?

I noticed that your language is very similar to Aprils and you only have 1 post. Has an IP check been done for this person?

BTW, with all my experience in panther chameleons. April isn't very knowledgeable. After I paid her all of my money, her true knowledge came about. She claimed she had a Faylate Ambilobe and there is no such thing! Don't believe me join the chameleon forums and tell them you have one. Also, she told me she had to finish incubating live babies. You only incubate chameleon eggs, not hatched babies. Finally, she told me she was creating a a new locale of panther chameleons with Sambavas and Ambilobe. I told her that those are would be crosses and Panther chameleons are morph specific to the locale or region of Madagascar.

So far she says that she has 7-10 days by law to refund me. I said fine.
 
Oh wow. Zach and Tom I am so sorry you are dealing with this.

I was tempted at one point to buy a lot of babies . I had seen the "panther chameleon company for sale" post. It claimed they where going out of business but I thought it was extremely odd that I had never heard of them....

I ultimately decided pass because the babies where so small. Glad I did.

Thanks Figg! My gut told me not to do it. However, when I checked with Debbie at reptiles express, the Kammers, and FLchams, they all vouched for her buying chams from them. That gave me the green light. Plus she claimed the animals she was sending were 4 -8 weeks old and already were showing color and striking patterns. Still I wish I passed. BTW, Figg since I know you are a great panther breeder yourself. Have you ever heard of "Rare Faylate Ambilobes"? According to April she has them, lol.
 
This really surprises me, in my dealings with her, she has been polite and professional. I have received my Nosey Be's, and while 1 didn't make it, I sent her a picture of it and she has already sent me another. I haven't had any problems with her, and if I had to wait a bit longer for them, then I am fine with that as long as I receive healthy chameleons.
I truly hope that you both have a resolution, but I must say my expereince with her was nothing but professional.

Maybe someone tricked her into buying some cross and gave it a made up name to make it seem like it was worth big bucks. Or maybe she thought she could make her own local and made up the name. I am just guessing

I hope it all works out for the two of you in the end. Dealing with this sort of thing is not fun. Getting new chams is suppose to be fun and exciting . It is a slap in the face when someone tries to rip you off. And it gives us who sell online a bad rap
