    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Perfect Predators..unreliable

we are not "into" ball pythons. We own upwards of a thousand animals. Maybe 50 are ball and none are even breeders. This is about being lied to. He could have offered something different or just said "sorry man I don't have them. Let em refund you or offer you something else". Instead I was told they shipped, they will ship, my guys was suppose to ship them. The very first day we spoke to him on the phone he said they where ready to ship. Said they were eating and had multiple meals in them. Well started. Then come Wednesday when they didn't show up it was "oh we fed them really heavy. Fed them a meal that was to big for them. Does that sound like an animal that isn't eating?
 
Just a thought. When this thread started, it was pretty much a blank slate except for a buyer who was (justifiably) upset because he had waited too long and been promised shipment too many times.

Had the seller come here with an apology and perhaps a token gift of some kind to the buyer for the aggravation of the situation, I think that would have been that.

But well meaning friends took up and criticized, and the situation escalated.
Sometimes it is better to see the whole picture, and now this buyer has been and is being poked and prodded. When you poke someone who (justifiably) feels put upon, no good will come of it. Sometimes an apology and a light touch is what a situation might need.
 
You were entitled to the truth up front (even if not in the ad).
This is a big part of my whole point, which some people seem to be trying very hard to minimize. No matter how you look at this thing, PP has gleefully lied. I don't particularly agree with the idea that seller's degree of guilt should be qualified by anything that buyer/OP did. That's what I'm arguing; the idea that "yeah the seller lied, but the buyer should have...".

Who's to say why he wanted this group of snakes so badly. Hell, I don't even understand the fascination with pet rocks, period. However, the onus was on the seller to follow through, which he failed to do on numerous occasions. He's presented himself as someone who can't be explicitly trusted, and I simply think that too much emphasis is being placed on the buyer's actions, which were based on false pretenses presented by the seller. That's what I believe it all comes down to. Had the seller chosen to be completely forthright, at any point in the process, it's very likely that this situation could have been resolved privately, if not amicably. Instead, he chose to cover lies with more lies.
Ok all you guys (and you know who you are) that are posting this BS about Manny and getting on his case need to keep quiet. Jealously is a b***ch. Just because you're only able to sell a couple snakes a week, while his numbers are in the dozens, doesn't give you the right to knock him on BOI. I've bought over $10k in boas from him in the past few months and he has always been honest and upfront. Personally, I haven't had any issues with him not responding..sure sometimes it takes a day for him to get back to me, but so what? I've purchased boas from him and had them shipped out a month later because he wants to make sure they are all feeding and in tip-top shape before he sends. Personally, I'd rather wait and trust his judgement on when they are ready to ship. If you don't want to wait then get your money back, he had no problems with refunding it to you.
Also, I do know that he had several personal issues come up this past week. A pair that I purchased 2-3 weeks ago was shipped out to me today, but like I said, I have no issue with that because when they arrive I know that I'm getting the top of the line specimen.
A purely objective and unbiased analysis, I'm sure. :notallthe

Let me shed some light on "The big issue" everyone is seemingly on a verge of a nervous breakdown now. whic is what was my hidden agenda for not shipping after 3+ weeks and what was I scheming. And also since everyone on this thread is so mystified by the horror so know the full details then since this poster is unfortunately not very honest and manipulative. on a very initial conversation with the purchaser I was told to wait a week which turned into 2 weeks before we arrange to ship to see if there would be more attractive deals to ship together and also to allow for time for me to visit their tactical gear site and perhaps i find anything we can trade from their site as "these days they barter a lot for reptiles and other goods and services." After two weeks they called and sent me an email called "good crazy" which arrived minutes after the call. on the call stated they got lots of good things going on and theyre a bit crazy at work and took a little longer than expected to request shipping and gave me their correct ship to address. This was 2 weeks after purchase..at any rate so we each share 2 weeks of delay, 2 weeks they requested and 2 weeks I needed.

Can you provide any emails to show this happened the way you said?
 
Not the case. And you could have fixed this. I'm very thick skinned. I work daily with customers from special operations units. A type personalities. I am also an A type personality. Not much bothers me. But wrong me and Ill go out of my way to get and keep your attention. You never heard word one from me until today. Both My wife and then Chris tried to handle this. You could have called either of them today. They both communicated with you. You even told chis "Ill call you but I'm hard to understand because I have a cold". Seriously? After a couple of hours of no call this thread was started. You had still hours today to make a different outcome. I don't know about your customers but if I did mine remotely like this, more than a few would fly to where I am to sort it out. And yet you still haven't said "sorry I screwed up." So, now that I have you attention and now that you know who I am you will be hearing about me frequently.

I've done large money transactions with Manny. And I would do that today. You should have been patient with the gentleman.


Then he should not have lied over and over, should have returned called and not given story after story. I had and still have no idea who manny is. We saw a feed from his facebook because of other pages we are friends with. I buy alot of animals. He had some nicer stuff we were looking at. Had this first deal worked out He would already have a good chunk or my money. When we do business with breeders or sellers we do enough that they definitely want us a a customer. I'm an easy customer. I don't even haggle prices and always buy a lot of animals at one time to combine shipping. We do so much business with some of the bigger guy I get sent photos over the phone all the time with 1st dibs. His loss. Its not about the 3 ball pythons. Its about how he handled this.

Not sure what you think that proves, as it makes no reference to the buyer having made a conscious choice to have shipping delayed. Also, you may want to actually read your thread, if you had, you'd know that that email was already posted.

that on october 2nd 2 weeks after purchase i finally got the address to ship. boy your not the apex knife in the drawer are you?
 
Address is on the paypal transfer. You were given the address as well they 1st day we talked to you because you needed it to get us a quote for shipping the ARS rack that you never got us a quote for. That e-mail isn't dated two weeks out its 10 days out. But lets go ahead anf run with that. So after the ten day (We will forget anything prior) you made excuses after excuse and even said they had shipped, you will send tracking, you dont know why they shipped etc. You e-mails are posted. You yourself put a link to the communications between you and Chris. You had weeks to fix this or just come clean with it "I went to that show and sold you snakes, or Hey man I over sold them." Some other person posted on that thread after we bought them and you told them to pm you. So whats the real deal? You sold them? Man, that's all you had to say. You could have fixed this ten different ways. I'm easy. That not what you did though. I have all the time in the world. I can sit on a computer all day and tell peopleall over the place how you do business.

Anway, I may not be an "apex knife"(?), but I sure am smart enough to realize that, unless you can somehow prove a negative: that you didn't previously have their address, your words are yet another unsubstantiable claim, which amount to so much drivel. Because of your chosen course of action in handling this situation, everything you say has to be considered suspect, at best. Blaming everyone else for your dropped ball sure does seem to be SOP for you.
 
Manuel, you're attitude on here isn't helping your case whether you are right or wrong. It's how you conduct yourself. Attacking members on here doesnt get you anywhere. I know I will not be purchasing from you in the future. But that is just my opinion going on what you have said and how you have acted. Quality animals are nothin without great customer service in my eyes.
