    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Pet store robbery and Daytona show

I know you are reading this. I may have been wrong regarding my earlier post about you. I need more information to reach a conclusion. But according to my friend, I am wrong about you. I think that the best way to solve this is to get a copy of the story, I called fox 13 and I can get a copy of the actual story as it was ran on tv. And to answer your question, no I was never a suspect but 3 people here wanted me to be. Sorry guys but as the Game officer said "we do not listen to personal vendettas".
 
John, I would like to ask you who this person is that you spoke of? How can anyone here give what you say any credit with out knowing your souce, as it has been said time and time again "anyone can come on here claiming to have spoken to someone with good info" Please give us a name.

In this case I am pretty sure I know the "good and reliable friend down there in Florida" is and he is not Neil and does really exsist.  And for that matter doesnt really want to be drug into this mess.

So suffice it to say, the source is real, valid and not some imaginary hoax.  But I do see your point about unsubstantiated claims.  But thats not the case this time.
 
I just spoke to Peg (who, by the way, has a "different" last name than Dave "thinks" she has) this morning. She told me I was absolutely correct about her meaning in that interview...she will "probably" come on here (personally) later today to tell HER side of this! It's simply ridiculous to think she would do something to jeopardize the industry that is her (and our) life!
And there's still the question about the 14' Albino Burm and the Albino Boa....where did you say you got them, again??? ....Neil
 
Please do not give Dave anymore names to throw around and make look bad I think he has done enough damage here.Peg actually liked Dave I don't know why but she did.Me personally do not I never have.I have a problem with people who are always passing the blame and causing problems.And as for stories changing boy have I heard them change.Peg may just be a little Pet store but 5 of the animals stolen were not for sale they were pets that we use for educating the public,we go to schools and daycares,we go to town get-to-togethers and try to explain how to care and be responsible owners of these awsome creatures.

YOU would be trying to pass off the big girl{abp}and a albino boa.To a local dealer,then have your little running boy jason ,who I talked to for 30 minutes call me and try to get all this info,{and by the way}he is not as loyal as you think.Then out of the blue he tells me that you got info about a green truck that was never here,And that you and all you groupies tell this other customer that Neil and this rodent dealer have the green truck blah blah blah.Why would you even be that far into it if you were not involved.And for your info......Peg never thought it was you until you had that snake and wanted to sell it for"350. or 100.just to get it off your hands"

Well I guess it's about time for me to speak for myself. I'm logged in under mouth bur rest assured it's me PEG. O.K. first I didn'tblame the DAYTONA show. I just think its amazing that last year and this year at the same time I got robbed and how ever is doing this has to have a outlet and show and other places that you can sell alot of animals what better place and for all you HONEST people out there be on notice. As far as the cops not going well DAVE you no not know my FRIENDS do you. Also no not be calling my MOM trying to find out my home #. Yea all he did that all of sudden he forgot my store # it has'nt changed. 813-991-9811 just in case you did have a brain fart. I am not the only store in this area that got robbed. Two other store got hit the same week as I did and I think if we all put as much effort in trying to find out how is doing this. As everyone is feeding DAVE's Sickness in trying to start crap then maybe we can but and end to all this mess.

I noticed some of you were talking about microchipping your herps. "Digital Angel" will be introducing injectable, trackable GPS device's soon. They currently have external trackers, but the internal ones should be available soon. Too expensive at the moment, but will most likely go down in price and would seem worth it for using on valuable animals. Just something to maybe keep your eyes on.

Also, very sorry to hear about the thefts. A good friend of mine had 30 of her best breeding parrots stolen a few years ago and has yet to get back any of them. I know all stealing is wrong, but stealing live animals seems to me to be lowest of the low.

Denise....Thank you for that information....I just contacted the company to see if they will send me some more info on their product, and to see if it's applicable for herps!

I'm just glad to see that a lot of other people are finally starting to see the light! EVERY store owner in the Tampa area knows exactly what the story is around here, and we also have very strong feelings about who is actually responsible for this rash of burglaries...we just can't prove it...YET! ....Neil

got hit, we now are wholesale, and did lose the bunch of turtles, these were from the farm in it big time sticks, not a store in pop. area, we now broker turtles, and raise snakes
just sold the old farm & bought a new farm, we do not allow many people to come to the farm,
retail was in savannah , Ga

I never said he had info on a green truck, I said I heard there was a green truck involved. All I know is my name is being involved in this and the only reason I see is because im friends with Dave and thats the way it will stay.

First off you prove how honest you are by using a fake name,(webslave should be deleting).

1) Neil was trying to sell the 13' female abp on kingsnake and once your story was posted by Jenny neil deleted the for sale post. fishy? you bet.I was not trying to sell the snakes you talked about.some bad info to you. But I am sure that Jeff of kingsnake.com will produce a copy of neil's post,you know the one where he said he was selling them for friends moving out of state.

2)You (Peg) along with Neil, Ray and Jenny have been elling anyone dumb enough to listen that Jason and me did all this robberies and that we were going to be arrested.Well I call each and every police detective and ask if I should turn myself in due to what you 3 have been saying.Their response was for me to get a attorney and take all 3 of you to civil court because all of you are lying.A lt. from game and fish said that they do not listen to people with personal vendettas against me.None of them wanted to check out me home,all of them said I was not a suspect.

3)Pasco co. detective was at a pet shop and I was sitting in the back room he did not want to talk to me.The reason he was there is due to the fact that you Peg told them that they were selling your stolen snakes.That story did not hold water.

4)You lied Peg by saying that you had that abp since it was a baby,the truth is you bought it 4 montha ago for $250 but you said on tv it was worth $1,000.You lied when you said that $8,000 to $10,000 worth of reptiles were taken.In the 4 years I've known you you have never had more then $500 in reptiles in there.You did say that you blame the expo for the break ins now granted you may have meant it another way but you said it wrong.

5)By trying to convice the cops that I have committed these crimes you have aided the true crooks to get away to do it over again and again. GOOD JOB GUYS!!!!!!!!

6)I have no trouble with any other shop in the area other then them repeating what they have heard from one of you 3,but they keep buying animal from me.


Now to close,I really do not care anymore about this thread due to the it is starting to ture in to a he said she said bunch of crap.But a word to the wise Peg did come on here under a false name refer to the post by "the mouth" re-read them,Would you beleive anything from her "mouth"?   The pet store was brought up to the cops by 2 other store owners.
  And as for the 500. dollar comment,You keep talking about the news show,well you must not have been watching well because the animals that we have had to buy are worth more and we still have empty tanks.
  And we sure would be interested in finding a 13 foot albino female that is 8 years old and can be heldby anyone for 250.00.
  AND for my closing....the reporter was called by an anonymous caller...they taped 25 minutes worth of stuff and they picked what they wanted to play.Haven't you ever heard the expession you should believe half of what you hear?and you should know first hand that news articles really don't do people justice now do they?   LILL NOT PEG SHE IS MY BOSS
 
First of all....all those snakes that I was selling for a "friend"...were LYMAN'S!! Remember him, Dave??? There were about 6 large burms (the largest being 9&#39<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>...go ahead, Dave...I DEFY you to have Jeff repull that post!! That first night about half the snakes and lizards sold....every email I got I gave them Lyman's phone number and he took it from there! I was tired of getting multiple emails for the animals so I pulled the ad...period! He was selling them very cheaply, ergo the many emails! So, where did you come up with that story?
