And I thought that pete said he didnt keep venemous anymore...could it be that ole pete lied to us, tell me it isnt so!!!

I'm not defending Pete, I just didn't want anyone confusing the post by bcfos (Brian Foster) as made by Pete Perez.

From reading Brian's posts on different sites, my opinion is that he's a responsible hot keeper, which is not something that I would currently say about Pete. I continue to remain hopeful that his practices are improving, both in the shipping realm and the handling realm.

Everyone already knows about Pete and his fabled lies. Atleast they are not polluting this forum any longer........... (that I know of :p)

Pete Perez is at it again. Look at the contradictions in theis post about how he photographed the snake. And then look at the backpedaling. Look Familliar? BTW. It looks like he is now going by the name "Southwest Wildlife Refuge" Although the url he posted "swwr.org" is not valid.

Well, the thread has been deleted on the other forum. I just hope that he doesnt fool the members of that forum into thinking he is something that we all know he isnt. That something is "HONEST"!!!
 
I think most people can see right through him. It isn't that hard considering every time he makes a post he says something stupid. I mean he talks about how his macro has two settings one at about 2-3" and one at < 1", and says that's why he had to be really careful shooting the photo(even though he mentions the snake is all bark and no bite=more irresponsible BS) then once again has to post saying "oh that's not what I meant". He also states that it is a captive snake, no doubt he'll say it's someone elses, cough...cough..bs...cough...cough, as he's too responsible to keep it, given he has a little one and also it would be against the law where he lives.

The people that stick up for him are mostly like minded (braggards, poachers, unethical keepers, etc.). One of the reasons, I don't post at any "field herper" type sites anymore. Too bad, really, I know quite a few very respectable and responsible field herpers, and some of them still post at some of the sites, but I just can't stomach the unethical field people and their posts.
 
Based on the idiotic stunts he claims to pull, this chucklehead is well on his way to doing us all a favor by removing himself from the gene pool.

Which would mean the average intelligence of the human race will rise by an incremental percentage.

Scott over at the fieldherperforum says he is dealing with lil' petey and doesn't want flame wars on his site. Apparently he thought my little bit of info about lil' petey was a flame.

It seems that lil' petey was over at the new fieldherpers site, trying to pass himself off as a regular guy. NOT as a guy who had shipped a venomous snake illegally, using UPS without informing THEM of the contents, taking the LIVES of EVERYONE who came in contact with that box for granted, NOT as a guy who had illegally shipped a hot snake to a state where possession of that snake was ILLEGAL, no, he is NOT at all appreciative of anyone else knowing all of that.

He has claimed on that site that he would NEVER free-handle a hot snake. Hmmmmm, don't we have pictures of him on THIS site doing that very thing? I'm sure we do. He has tried to wheedle his way into the good graces of the unknowing people over there by pretending not to know about hooks or tongs or which would be better used on which snakes or where to get them. He even tried to get some of the folks there to give him local data so he could go hunt in their spots.

THEN, when I informed those folks about the TRUTH regarding lil' petey perez, he got his panties in a BRAND NEW WAD. wah wah wah.

Here are the emails he sent to me today AFTER he called me and I explained that I had NO time to deal with him. Frankly I'd rather watch for flying pigs than take valuable time out of MY life to explain to this IGNORAMOUS why he is as despicable as he is.

He got my number off this site, from my good guy membership. HE is the reason that I requested my address be withheld.
Seems he wants to meet with me personally. Why, I have no idea as were we to actually meet I can see no positive to be gained. Afterall, he's a lying sack of crap and I'm not. Oh well. At least he's amusing in his consistency; consistenly making a fool of himself, that is.
