Well, in that picture, it is just a normal pattern with a white ringer.

A low white pied would have some more interesting and intricate patterns to it, as well as being more high orange.

The question is though, is he knowingly and intentionally misrepresenting that animal in an attempt to scam someone out of $1200, or does he actually know so little about ball morphs that he honestly thinks that's a pied?
The price is way below what even the lowest white pied would actually bring, but way higher than what a genetically non reproducible ringer would ever be worth.
Is it priced that way to sucker in someone less knowledgeable for a quick sale, or is it a case of seller ignorance?

I think Clay brings up an important point here...some may call the ringers a "poor man's pied", but it needs to be known that ringers have NOT been genetically reproducible. I doubt that anyone would spend that much money on an animal knowing that they cannot reproduce this trait.

Has anyone contacted the seller?
 
Definitly a RINGER

That Ball Python is a Ringer all the way. It has a normal pattern for one thing and I would bet the belly is not all white like a Pied. Maybe someone can ask him for more pics and they could post them up here. If he knows the difference between a Pied and a Ringer then he is out to rip someone off. Has anyone emailed him about this thread? That is a nice RINGER, I will say that.

He knows it's not a genetic pied.
This is the same guy that charges $5 to walk into his store. If you buy something, you get the $5 deducted from the price, if not, you paid him to look at what he has. :rolleyes:

Has anyone taken a screen shot of that ad and reported it to KS? As strick as they have gotten you'ed think something like this would be on the top of their list.

I did checked out his other ads and the prices seem around normal for his other ball morphs so that makes this low $ "pied" seem strange. I did do a reverse phone number look up and it is a land line in Providence RI where there is a store called regal reptiles. So it seems to me that he should know the difference.
I am not saying that he is trying to rip people off, the add is just a little off to me.
 
Regal has been around for years so it is not a lack of experience on this one.
Not sure what is going on with it, but will give him a call to see.
