Tracey, I understand all you want is a refund, and it sounds like you've been through a lot. Should you not get a refund within 24 hours, I will be glad to help you file under the DTPA. I am in Texas and it would not be a problem to help you; part of what Fauna is for is so we can all help each other. It would be great practice for me, and having been a single mom myself, I understand how difficult it is.

I would really appreciate if you did not mention my name in your post - I have yet to do something wrong here.

And for the record - If I started getting money sent to me by a known scammer, I would not accept it and say "Oh, free money, awesome." EVEN IF IT WASNT known who was giving you the money, I sure as heck wouldn't just say "Awesome" and leave it like that. I would investigate and find out WHY I was getting money from someone that I shouldnt be getting. And I beleive you stated that you did think/know that the money was coming from Mitch, so WHY KEEP IT? That just drags you deeper into this mess!

And I will admit, Mitch/Frank seems to not be the brightest lightbulb in the closet, but he ISNT stupid enough to work hard and scam people out of money and then give it to someone else randomly. There had to be an incentive there.

It does sound a bit "fishy" that someone would accept money for someone else and that someone else wasn't somehow getting the money or something else in return. That makes NO sense. I agree that even Frank/Mitch is/are not that stupid.

And even if that is true, you (Jimmy and Shannon) accepted Tracey's money. She wants it back. Since you sold her nothing, and she never bought anything from you then you need to issue a refund. At best you have been duped but you shouldn't be out anything. In fact, you have spent Tracey's money which was not yours in the first place.

You need to state here and now that you will issue a refund pronto. If not, I agree with Lucille, Tracey should take legal action.

See, Jimmy/Shannon/Whoever, before you were associated with Frank/Mitch and the scams. You could have talked it out and done the right thing, clearing your name entirely. Then you had a very rude outburst, which blew you farther into the scum. Everything settled for a bit, and then there is another person who was struck by a scam of some sort. Saying that you "got free money" is digging yourself deeper, so I suggest you come here, be an adult, and do the right thing - refund all the money that needs to be refunded and right all the wrongs that have been made.

Im hoping you dont just dissappear and/or come up with another alias - you will be caught. Its best come here and do the right thing...now.

first of all we are closing any accounts, and also mitch only USED are payapal that we know of 2 times, but let me tell you this i do not care if you do not trust me when i say my business is not with mitch i do my own thing i have not talk to mitch since the deal with tere and i do not CARE too i am selling one of my chris allens to get your money back i do not have alot of funds in paypal so if you { tracey } can hang on and let me do this i will refund your damn money and end this bull crap and after this i do not want to be in this whole bull crap that is not the way i do my business alot of you know i refund teres money so i do not understand why all of you think that we are bad people when you haven't done business with us and i also did tere a great favor on top of that but we will not go in to that but i will refund your money and if mitch does this again and it comes back on us i will personally press charges on him and who ever cause i do not work with mitch and iam closing my paypal account after i refund Tracey's money gives us time to sell one of my best dragon

Unless you are flat out broke with no change, I think you ought to come up with a partial refund IMMEDIATELY.

I do not personally care who sold what to whom at this point, but please, Dear God, take a spelling and/or remedial English class!!! I still think something smells like tuna...long dead tuna and you can complain all you want...Tuna stinks...especially if it hasn't been inspected in a while.

I a laud you for taking responsibility for others' errors but after a while of repeating the same errors over and over again I perceive even you could come up with what the rest of us are thinking. Either close your existing paypal account so he cannot use it...Oh, novel idea, never occurred to us...Yeah, right...or report the abuse to paypal...oh, another novel idea, gosh, you're so smart...or change your paypal address and account so he cannot utilize it anymore..Golly, like, paypal wouldn't work with us on this one...DUH!!!

There is no excuse after the first time for him to be using your paypal account anymore...there are protections in place for you to use if the happens..you did not use them...it IS your fault if this keeps happening...so excuse us if we think we smell fish. :hot:

I said something about Tracey needing to get her refund in 24 hours, and that was at 6:14 PM. You said you have a Paypal Mastercard, all it will cost you is whatever little bit of interest, but perhaps you ought to pay her with that card and then pay it off, and you will have succeeded in fulfilling your obligation to Tracey.

If I do not hear from Tracey by 6:14 PM tomorrow that she has received her refund, I will print off this whole thread, and offer to help her file under the DTPA; and request from the court triple damages and of course fees for my services in helping her file which the court will make you pay as part of costs.

Just do it, Jimmy. No more excuses.

Mitch may have scammed her but yet again you end up with the money. With Tere you refunded it instantly because it was caught early. The transaction with Tracey was in the last week of APRIL!!!!! Your telling me that in a whole month you didn't notice you had money not belonging to you.

GIVE IT UP!!!! You were sitting back for a month now, on her money and even spent it. I bet you thought that after a month went by you had gotten away with it. Well I got news for ya............ Ya didn't, and now your going to have pay the price. I hope $175.00 was worth it. Cause at this point I would venture to say you will be losing a lot more than the $175.00 you had.

Lucille, the PayPal mastercard he is referring to is not a revolving credit line.

It's just like a debit card from a bank. It gives you the power of mastercard or visa but only allows you to spend what you have in the account it is linked to.
If he has $25.00 in his paypal account he can only spend $25.00
