    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Heres the most interesting thing about Fauna members. Not only do they come out of the woodwork to post on the BOI, these "so-called" bad Fauna people also come to the help of almost ANY fellow hobbiest.

Do you see how many actual people are willing to give Amanda snakes for virtually nothing? I have seen a minimum of 4, including myself. This is just from the ones that posted in this thread as I know of at least one other who has not publically posted it.

If you think we are THAT bad, then maybe you are right, this isnt for you. All we are doing is trying to solve the situation and give you advice. Our advice is always free. You now have the option of doing what you will with it. I do hope that you are listening to what everyone is saying to you and change some ways about you.

Just because someone does not have a trade status should not matter. If I remember correctly the only people that can leave trader ratings are paid members but I could be wrong on this one.

You are right you have to be a paid member. So I paid today so that when I get the snakes from this guy I can leave him a positive mark.

Yes I do agree with what some of you are saying. That a paper trail is good but once you have that paper trail a phone call to seal the deal is a good thing.

Yes it was kinda wrong to jump the gun and put it out there that you might not want to trust this girl on a thread that cant be deleted. But you have to look at this to he has only been here 3 months he didnt know what else to do. His only intent was to make others aware of what happened.

You are correct that he did not say she was a scammer in the original post. But in the title he did put "possible skammer(joseydiann)". Point being is he did not need to start a bad guy thread he could of did an inquiry or just left it be. You can't come to the conclusion that someone is a possible scammer just because they refuse to do business over the phone. On top of him starting this thread he has made himself look bad 1) for starting the thread, 2) for his attitude toward others, and 3) for his lack of customer service.

Ok if you go back to the first post on this thread he did not say scammer he said "ANYONE PLANING ON DOING BUSSINESS WITH HER WATCH OUT I WOULD SAY SHE IS UP TO NO GOOD."

Only was the word scammer used by him later in the thread after everyone else used the word.

As far as a phone call goes. Your mom dont want you giving out her number so *67 and it is blocked and call him. What is a few min long distance going to cost 2-3 bucks. Besides that doesnt every phone company have free long distance now. If yours doesnt then you could of had him pay for the phone call or something.

Yes I was looking to pick these snakes up just as you were. But he made me wait until he found out if you were going through with it or not. So yes before the no phone nonsense you were at the top of the list to get these snakes.

I am going to go out on a limb here and assume you actually read the title of this post. Where, in plain misspelled English, he states "skammer". No he does not specifically state that inside the post but he posted it in the TITLE - the first thing everyone sees - the bait to get people into a thread - the very first impression...see where I am going with this? This is not "kind of wrong" or "a little wrong" or even "a tad wrong". He is wrong, period!

Then, he posts a few words that are rude, ignorant and just plain stupid, only to slither out of this post leaving YOU here sticking up for him. I would think that any person with reasonable thought process would understand that he simply does not care. Not about his customers and not about you.

People would stop bashing him if he would just man up, admit his mistake and make an apology.

I exposed a REAL scammer, and even I had the courtesy to make it an Inquiry thread in case I was wrong.
 
Ok yes you are right didnt see the heading until just after I posted that. Yes in some sense he might need to say sorry. But I also feel that some of you owe him a apology. This is where text and phone is different. Sometimes when you write something in your head it sounds nice and helping. But when someone else reads it it is mean and hateful sounding.

Like I said I have email, pm, texted and had phone conversations with the guy all day. He is a ok guy in my book. He is just like the rest of us. He loves his animals and this hobby that we all love so dear.

But with that said I see to many times time and time again where at the drop of the hat people bash others on here. Sometimes for nothing more then the way you word a sale thread.

This as well as the cornsnakes.com site is so much more then just bashing people and boosting your own egos. So some of us are smarter then others. Some of us know every in and out when it comes to genes. Some couldnt tell you the difference between a creamsicle, candy cane, Amel, Reverse Okeetee and so on. To some they all just look like an albino snake. Some of us only have time and money for small cheap collections while others have warehouses full of reptiles that they sell for thousands a piece.

What I am trying to say is that some here need to learn to treat others with respect and be helpful to one another. Telling someone that the way you worded that is wrong what were you thinking it should be like this is just wrong and bad business.

Once again I will say that John you should of gone about this a different way in a different thread I agree with everyone there. But maybe this is where he thought he must go to start this thread.

All and all its miss communication and miss understanding that started all of this. What do you all think is the biggest down fall to businesses and companies.

Respect starts with people NOT jumping the gun and posting bad guy threads when they havent been ripped off or negatively impacted. Respect continues with treating potential trade partners, customers, etc with professionalism and NOT blowing up on them. Respect includes keeping an anger problem under control, just because he gets butt hurt easily doesnt mean he has to take it out on people.

YES I have had this account for years, but was not big enough to come on here and sell alot of reptiles so no I don't have a rating here but have plenty on my site to back that up. I could see if I didn't have a site with good customer comments and testimonials. But he was there and read all that. Then called me a scammer and did a bad guy thing on me. All because of the phone, just a little uncalled for don't ya think?!

I'm truly sorry I can't do my reptile business on the phone. I really like alot of these peple on here and can say they are a friend but guess what I can't call them.

So to everyone out there, I totally understand if you'd not want to buy from me or do a trade with me because of this, it is understandable. And as I told him, no hard feeling and good luck.

I'm far from a scammer or bad person.

I do agree with you on this I really do. But if someone would please read everything I type cause I have said it a few times.

Maybe he thought he was doing the right thing by letting people know of someone that could be up to no good. Maybe he thought this was the place for this thread. Maybe he did not know that you could not delete it once started. I know I didnt know that until I started to read this thread.

I still say that in his eyes he was doing the right thing. Was it the right thing no but also some what. He just went about it the wrong way.
 
I know you guys are wondering where I am since this is about me. I'm near by, I'm reading, and keeping up it's just I've already put by side of it out there and told it just how it happen and I stand by that.

Also he did in fact call me a scammer on his ad and also 3 times in our emails, even when I assured him I was not and was still keeping my cool about it.

My feelings are hurt that this will always be here and there was no need for it.

But in the end I can feel some what at least and be able to smile knowing I DO have friends here that are behind me and have backed me up.

This is NOT so, the guy was mad be couldn't call me and started he REALLY wanted to make the trade. The deal was already worked out and we had plans to ship, if he didn't like that I had to mail out on Monday he could have said ok I'll ship out then too, but that was not the case, he never said a word to me about a shipping problem between us, he brought all that up on the posting.
He decided last minute after 2 days of emailing after the deal was all worked out and complete that he needed to call, I have no clue why..

Also I had offered him way more than they were worth because they were adult corns over 3 years old and I was hoping to get some breeders.

But I'm seriously done with it, it's over and I wish him luck with his snakes.

Josh... some thoughts to consider. Do you honestly think he would be all buddy buddy with you if wouldnt have agreed to a phone call? From what I have read in His thread... Im gonna say probably not.

Something else to consider.... You came on here boasting about how you are getting the snakes that Amanda was supposed to get via a trade deal. HE NEVER told her the trade deal was off. She had to read about it here in a thread that he started about her. A thread mind you that was unwarrented and unfounded.

Something else that I am unclear on... so maybe you can enlighten me... do you have the snakes in your posession at this time?
 
lmfao! Anyone receive an email from this guy? This guy is a real winner! You DO realize sir, that not only is your email most likely breaking you parole, but you are also breaking Fauna rules as well. Just an FYI;)
