I normally avoid posting things like this however a person like this makes all chameleon people ~and~ the hobby as a whole look bad. He is selling chameleons which he knows not the local to as “100% PURE, some of the best in the country”. But yet on his own youtube videos he is mixing different locals in the same cages, claiming to have some sort of tail dot pattern that lets him know which is which?

He says that he has been a BIG NAME for 10 years, yet I don’t know of 1 person that has herd of him breeding for 10 years. Plus that would mean that he has been in the big time and exporting since he was 16.

He uses other breeder’s pictures on his web site, cropping out the name of the photographs owner.

His partner, or is it him? Has been in trouble with the Florida fish and wildlife department...

I would post more of facts that have unfortunality been deleted from a separate forum that he has been infecting but I got stuff to do. If anybody would like to see him dig himself a hole I have a screen shot version on the best thread. E-mail me and I can pass it along.

that was the article that appeared in the Sun Sentinel... Its bad for the industry, and its unfortunate that this person is still around.

The best we can do is let people know about Precision and Nick Nistico and just be vigilant to prevent these them from causing more harm then they already have.. From what I have been able to gather there are 2 principles here Jerry Abel and Nick Nistico..

Try to notify every avenue for preventing these people from advertising. Thats the best we can hope for..

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) investigators took action against “Dark Forest Reptiles,” an exotic-pet store in Boynton Beach, and cited the owner.

Nickolas Nistico, DOB 10/15/82, of Boynton Beach, was charged with three violations: possessing an American alligator without a permit, possessing reptiles of concern without a permit and exhibiting and selling without a permit. Mr. Nistico also received a warning for improper housing of an American alligator.

On Aug. 6, FWC investigators attempted to inspect Nistico’s store but found the Boynton Beach store vacated. Later, they found the store at another location, in Delray Beach.

Officers found the store open for business and Nistico exhibiting reptiles with an expired permit at an unpermitted location.

Nistico was in possession of a 3-foot alligator, which was caged in a manner giving the public easy access. He also was exhibiting a reticulated python without a permit.

FWC officers seized both reptiles.

Under the Wildlife Violator Compact, Nistico could face enhanced penalties, because he has been convicted of wildlife law violations in the past. Penalties could include a maximum $1,000 fine and a year in jail for each violation.

Wow. I'm glad I found this thread. I saw his ad on Kingsnake.com and was thinking about buying a GTP from him. Guess I'll pass. I've talked with Nick several times over the phone. Seems like a good guy, but that was before I read this thread. So his GTP's are all imported?? He advertises them as Captive breed. I think I'll continue searching for a reputable source.

Now I don’t know what the heck this is about but I can tell you one thing, I WILL NOT tolerate this kind of personal attack on my wife. I have never said anything personally bad about Mr. Lab here, in-fact in PM’s sent to me asking my opinion on him I have only questioned his practices not his animals... I have no jealously for him because frankly I don’t care what he dose, it has no bearing on what I do.

To me, this is unacceptable. I invite the mods to check my message box to see that this was unprovoked and that I have never bashed him via emails.

This is a great conversation I had with who I assume is Nick cause I got emails like this from him as Dark Forest from some of his blatantly false ads.
The first email, (start at bottom and work up to most recent) was an email I sent to them in response to a spiny turtle ad they had on k-snake. They claimed it was a PROVEN breeding group, LTC, etc etc great breeders, blah blah balh. Anyone can correct me if I am wrong but I only know of one person who succesfully hatched a spinosa and that was Al weinberg. There may be a few produced in zoos, but I only know of one private sector person to produce any.
So I let "precision reptile labs" know this and how false their ad was that it was ridiculous. here are the emails, I got quite a good laugh.: I blurted out the cuss words becuase I think against ruules on here.

I have talked to clive since I have known him for over ten years and he mentioned the arrangment he and ted have for albino snappers and the like. Dude, your something else.

This guy, what a joke.

Mister Lab is a total immature child; yesterday he made and posted a ‘slam’ video about my wife. He went through old pictures that I have posted, printed them out then began to make insultes about both ourselves and our business. Luckily I was able to contact YouTube and get it taken down; however the act of this has shown his true colors.
After getting a call telling me about what he did I gave him a call to ask why. I started out trying to be as calm as possible but with his continued insults of my wife the conversation degraded rapidly.
In the conversations that followed he admitted that he did not care about the animals, he was doing it for the money, people are stupid enough to buy from anybody with a nice web site and that people who put ~real~ work, time, and love into their animals are dumb. He said the word looser about 1000 times and then hung up.
He says that he is on his 7th generation of chameleon and that he hand picked them from Maddigascar, what a load of @(%#.

PLEASE everybody, stay away from this person like the plague. And do your best to link everybody to this thread.

received healthy sambava tuesday

I received my healthy Sambava female from Nick Tuesday, and I couldn't be happier with the animal or his service. It seems to me that people should post their own experiences with breeders instead of trying to magnify the problems others have had. Instead of picking a fight over past grievances that someone else may, or may not, have had, look for recent responses and weigh them equally.
If we all were judged by our past mistakes, setbacks, angry customers, and misplaced comments it would be difficult for anyone to succeed. While I appreciate the feedback on this forum, I would have to admit the internet is full of complainers. I hope the people who purchase from Nick through the ad will add to this thread, and a more recent picture of his business and practices can be painted.

I trusted in the transaction for a healthy panther, and for the price I'll admit there is a risk/reward component. I was fully aware of the risk, and to this point I am satisfied. As to the purity of the morph, I can't be definitive any more than you can. Time will tell, and I am only speaking from my experience. If I wanted a picture of the sire, and the genetic back round of my panther, I would have payed 350.00 to someone else.

At the same time, If these transactions from Nick turn out to be great, will everyone be back to post regrets and apologies. Probably not.
I will reserve comments regarding to the quality of my Sambava until a later date, but 3rd party second guessing is hardly productive.
