ApriliaRufo said:I believe that was ruled as severe depression and instigative substances (steroids). Either way, ever taken steroids? I know plenty of people who do, doesn't really make any difference except sometimes they are irritable. I think I can get over someone being in a bad mood for a while, either way, I was just trying to say that this thread is about the reptile trade and personal experience with a seller, not to put your noses where they don't belong. People are going to do whatever they're going to do, whether it's legal or not. People buy drugs because they want em, simple as that. Whatever people are doing, if it don't hurt nobody but themselves, then it's not my business.
I was torn over which of your posts to quote....each one seems to be more ingorant than the other in some way. But this one really got to me...steroid use doesn't do anything but make people "irritable"?? Are you REALLY that dumb?
A little more ACCURATE information about ABUSE of HGH:
Although supervised growth hormone therapy in the case of a deficiency syndrome is generally quite safe, with few side effects, the situation regarding illicit hGH enhancement may not be so positive.
One of the most common side effects of hGH misuse is acromegaly. The onset of this disorder begins with an overgrowth of bone and connective tissue that leads to a change in facial appearance, such as a protruding jaw and eyebrow bones. Acromegaly can also lead to abnormal growth of the hands and feet, and a shortened life expectancy. A summary of other reported side effects of hGH enhancement include:
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar, risk of diabetic coma)
Glucose intolerance/ diabetes mellitus (high blood sugar)
Inadequate thyroid function
Acromegaly (irreversible)
Heart enlargement (may be irreversible)
Heart damage
High blood pressure
Premature ageing and death (especially in the case of acromegaly)
Water retention
Thickening of the skin
Abnormal hair growth (hirsutism)
Liver damage
Impotence
Many of the effects from long-term administration of this drug are irreversible. Some of the effects can induce life-threatening conditions or shorten life expectancy.
Yeah, none of that is any big deal. Nah, it doesn't hurt anyone....besides the people who use them...and the parents, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends of those who use them. No big deal.
There is a HUGE difference in using ANY drug for the use it was intended, and ABUSING it...
