    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Question about leaving karma

Is there a specific length of time that must pass before you can give karma for the same person? Or is it that you must give karma to a certain number of other people before you can again give karma to the same user?

For example, if a user has two good posts (deserving positive karma) that happen to be 2 days apart, how long do you have to wait to give positive karma for both posts?

I have read a number of things about karma and have a reasonable grasp of it. However, I have not seen anything regarding time between giving karma.

I have wondered that too!...Have tried to give Angie H. good karma as she's been especially helpful with my BD questions etc. but when I try to give her any more I get that message that says I have to 'spread more karma around' to others first. Humph!
 
It also looks like there is some sort of limit on the total amount of karma you can give in a 24 hr period.
 
Its 5 people I believe. Have to pass it out to 5 other people before you can leave it to that person again.
 
This is on/off topic but where can I read-up on Karma? I have tried searching and this was all that came up. I feel like I have looked all over and can't find a thing about Karma anywhere :shrug01::(

User CP (upper left of the bar) to view karma and subscribed threads/forums. and you need coins to view who left you karma.
 
that is unless the person giving you karma leaves their name :p but i wondered about that myself. i have given karma to those who i felt deserved it but not in the same day. being only that they restated themselves.
