Question about leaving karma

Is there a specific length of time that must pass before you can give karma for the same person? Or is it that you must give karma to a certain number of other people before you can again give karma to the same user?

For example, if a user has two good posts (deserving positive karma) that happen to be 2 days apart, how long do you have to wait to give positive karma for both posts?

I have read a number of things about karma and have a reasonable grasp of it. However, I have not seen anything regarding time between giving karma.

I have wondered that too!...Have tried to give Angie H. good karma as she's been especially helpful with my BD questions etc. but when I try to give her any more I get that message that says I have to 'spread more karma around' to others first. Humph!

You have to give Karma to other people before you can give it to the person again. I am not sure of what that number is though. I'm sure Rich or a moderator will see this thread and should be able to tell us how many people you would have to give Karma to before you can give it to a person again.

It also looks like there is some sort of limit on the total amount of karma you can give in a 24 hr period.

Its 5 people I believe. Have to pass it out to 5 other people before you can leave it to that person again.

that is unless the person giving you karma leaves their name but i wondered about that myself. i have given karma to those who i felt deserved it but not in the same day. being only that they restated themselves.
