the time span difference here is only 2 weeks were talking about.
i can easily see an honest mistake on missing that little of an amount of time.if we were talking 6 months or 2 years then this would be a problem.were nearly certian it's the same snake so now all we need are pics confirming sex,chris coming back and saying he was screwed over by who he got it from and like so many others assumed it to be what he was told and was selling it as told which it was not,or chris coming back and saying he lied.looks very easy to solve this one to me.if and i say if the 1st option is proven then this makes traci look very bad but vendicates chris.if it's the 2nd option then traci looks good for pointing this out but i still believe she handeled very wrong in the beginning.and if #3 is it oh my chris needs horse whipped and good job traci.still wrong but great job.so now we need answers from chris and this can all be laid to rest.

JEFF LEWIS - I think Chris handled the situation quite well, especially since Traci may have ruined his auction. If you read Traci's post's, you will see that she has gotten very aggressive with ALMOST everyone who has questioned her.

If I am being “derogatory” or responding “aggressively” to anyone it is because of personal attacks not simple questioning. Those people here whose main concern is the result of the auction also seem more than eager to ruin MY reputation by stating things about me that are not true. Besides asking if Chris was sure about the gender, I only stated facts about the animal. I did not attack him personally as some people are doing to me.

The actual true gender of the snake is not what I was referring to there, the truthful info I WAS referring to is who I bought it from, how it was sold to me (male), how long I had it, when I sold it, and that it was not cooled while in my care.

I didnt see anywhere that Chris said to you that he didnt care what sex it was, or intentionally lied about the snake. He was simply going from what he was told.

But he did not mention that until AFTER I posted Jeff. If you read the wording of the auction itself, it implies that he knows it is a female.

I am sure you had no malicous intent when asking those questions, however, i do believe you should have asked him in an email..
Then,,AND ONLY THEN, if you found him to be lying, or hiding the truth, that would have been the time to post it in a public place.

I did not say that he was lying or hiding the truth. He could be, or he could just have his info mixed up about who he got the animal from. It’s certain people posting here that have “put words in my mouth” or decided to declare what my “true” intentions were even though they don’t know me. It is those people’s posts who have led this thread in the direction it’s taken (me having to defend myself) rather than it helping people be clear about the animal they are bidding on or thinking about bidding on.

Thank you John, I appreciate that. However there ARE people here stating that my intentions were malicious and that my goal is/was to ruin the auction for Chris.

Other than the fact that you strongly believe that the animal is the one you sold, the only real solid info you had to dispense was that the animal you had sold could not have been cooled for any length of time.

As I stated above the truthful info I had on this animal was who I bought it from, how it was sold to me (male), how long I had it, when I sold it, and that it was not cooled while in my care.

Bottom line is that your motives were great but your delivery was definitely sub par.

I respect your opinion John, thank you. However the focus here should not continue to be about my initial delivery, which is a done deal and cannot be changed. I do not feel that there was anything wrong with me posting facts about the animal under the Q&A section, as well as asking if he was sure about the gender. Which as I am typing this still has not been verified.

Not true Jim, in my ads I stated that as far as age, gender, and what het for, the animals were being sold as they were sold to me. That is NOT the same exact thing as the wording of Chris’s auction. All throughout the auction the snake is referred to as a female, as if he knew for sure. Nowhere in the auction did it say that it's being sold as a female because that it how it was sold to him.

Thank you so much to Ritchie, Terri, and everyone else who has taken the time to really read my posts in order to understand me and where I am coming from. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that especially in the midst of others who are making things up about my intentions and personally attacking me.

traci quickie here do you happen to still have access to your add when you sold the snake?? i'm really not against you here and for chris.i know neither of you.the only way this is going to be solved is with chris coming here as he stated he would or whom ever buys the snake coming here or leaving feedback on the auction.regardless of the outcome i still believe you handeled it wrong but thats my opinion.you may haved saved someone fron beign screwed over but it was still handeled wrong.

I think the whole thing behind this entire thread, and her posting on Repti-Bid's Q & A's forum was because she was mad because when she sold the snake, she was told that it was to be used for breeding, not re-sale.
Then she see's it on Reptibid for sale, and got angry..
The only thing wrong here is the length of time Chris had the snake.

Traci, when you made your comment about the sex of the snake, on reptibid,, you PUT DOUBTS in potential buyer's minds, thus creating a sense of dis-trust between Chris and people looking at buying her(him)..
You did this WHEN YOU WERENT EVEN SURE OF THE ACTUAL SEX YOURSELF, only going by what you were TOLD,,, You were told this Traci. You didnt recheck the sex, so how can you jump on Chris for that??

The only thing is the length of time he had it.. And,, as Jim stated, it was only a couple weeks, or less.

Get him on here to find out if he re-sexed the snake..

You know what's weird...I went to reptibid so I could look up the auction in question, and it is no longer ANYWHERE to be found. Usually closed auctions are still able to be viewed for like 45 days or so. After that, I decided to do a search and Chris has no auctions (open or closed) listed anymore. It seems to me like he may have closed out his reptibid account.

That would be an odd behavior for someone who says he did nothing wrong, I think!!!

I am VERY curious...I got an anery motley from Blue Ribbon herps last year. There were two anery motleys posted at the time that looked almost identical. I think the snake in question is the sibling to mine. Is it the one you got right after I got mine?

Just to clarify something else, I do not know Traci. I just remember her writing to me asking for a reference for Blue Ribbon Herps, and she was saying she was going to get one of the anery motleys posted. I told her I had bought the other one.

No Terri, I still have the anery motley you are referring to. That one Bill sold to me as a female and does not look a thing like the one I am questioning (the one that is being auctioned) I am actually planning on offering that one for sale as well but I will probe it myself first.

The one I am questioning was the big one that Bill advertised as a " Male Silver Motley". In fact here is an exerpt from an email Bill sent me back on 5/27/03 after I had contacted him about the snake.

and I quote..."I bought the silver motley from a breeder in Rockville, but lucky him (& wife) they don't own a snake or home any more. They are 100% RVer, always on the road. He has never been bred. I have no reason to believe that he would not breed. He was not wintered this year, as he was not needed at this time. "

Oh yeah, I remember that snake as well. I almost bought him , too. I remember that I didn't because the picture that was posted originally on Blue Ribbon's site was really washed out and the snake looked more silver than he really was. Bill sent me some pictures that were more "true to life" and I decided to pass on him. Too bad I don't have those pictures still...

That's kind of funny that my female has turned out looking a lot like the snake I passed on. I didn't realize you had bought him, along with the female.

Yeah, Chris had a yearling female Hogg on Reptibid not to long ago that I was interested in. I only will buy pure breed Hoggs so I asked him a few questions about it. Found out that this Hogg he had can from a girl, who got it from someone else, who got it from someone else. So that ended that.

Chris, why bother to to come back to this thread after 15 months? Before you respond, I was not part of the initial thread, nor did I read it all (page 1, then skipped to last page to see why it had bumped to the top of the pile). IMO, your coming here just to say
