    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

raindrummer101 Ashlie Howell RIP OFF!!!

Dennis, At the time I knew nothing about her and tried to find a thread on her here at the BOI. Unfortunately, the way the search engine is designed when I went to the BOI and typed in either her name Ashlie Howell or raindrummer101 nothing showed up. That is why I was sure to put both in the heading of this thread so others could from now on. I've since learned to use the advanced search feature which I highly recommend everyone do. Try entering raindrummer101 in a search on all open forums and there is a mountain of information that comes up. Had I known how to do this last year I would not have ever bothered dealing with her.
In hindsight I could have done an inquiry and maybe people would have posted. At least this thread exists now to prevent others from getting taken. It's a shame honest people cannot do business without resorting to the BOI but it is obviously a necessity today.

Hey Daniel-

You are a 22 year old man. You shouldn't have any problems with people trusting you if you do things right and build your reputation. Just because Ashlie is a deadbeat scumbag doesn't mean it makes everyone in her age range one too. I don't think it makes a difference what age you are. I am still trying to get some info on someone that I have no idea their age but I am not about to send $300 unless I have a really good feeling about it and get a little feedback. You might want to have people you buy from give you references as to how you are as a buyer. That will even tell a little about someone. Bottome line is don't become a deadbeat scumbag like all the rest of them and you should be okay! Your first few deals are critical.

Our Situation Has Finally Been Resolved

I'm happy to report that Ashlie has finally made good and repaid the debt owed me. Just as I feel it is necessary to warn others when something negative occurs, I also feel obligated to post when a situation has a positive outcome which is the case here. Yesterday, in order to repay her debt, Ashlie sent me an adult male ball python that was said to be het albino. I received the animal in good health and with original documentation from the breeder, Hillary Webb, was enclosed to support it's het status. The only problem was I had no proof (picture ID) to know whether or not this animal matched the one mentioned in the paperwork. Back in '02 Hillary had provided a floppy with pics which was now missing and not included.
I wrote Hillary yesterday to give her all of the information I had and was very surprised to get pictures back from her that were a dead match for the male I now had in front of me. The value of the ball python Ashlie sent me has more than covered her debt owed me so our issue is now closed.
There are two Fauna members that were instrumental in assisting me at various stages of this ordeal that I would like to give credit to. These are Tom Snyder of Zoological Supply known here as "Zoo Supply" and Randy Mackey aka "ravensgait". I won't elaborate here how they helped out but suffice it to say without their help there's little doubt I'd still be sitting here empty handed. My personal thanks to both of you and also to Ashlie for finally putting this ordeal to rest.
