    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well it seems pretty clear to me that there are a lot of people who very much dislike me. When I say dislike I'm referring to vulgar name calling (F'in scammer, bottomfeeder, trash, etc.), flaming classifieds, demanding I leave the industry, etc.

Maybe some of members don't hate me, but when I see 1/2 of a members total posts consisting of solely bashing every thread I speak on, it get's a bit frustrating.

I've tried to defend myself on over 100 posts, but still seemingly to no avail for some.

Quick Recap From My Perspective For The Past 200 pages of Threads:

You don't have proper housing for your animals: You've seen my rack setup, I think it's fine, others apparently don't.

The hets your selling on your site are not hets (Feb 07): Posted pictured paperwork proving they were hets from Joe Compel and Cypress Creek.


You claim to hatch out over a 1,000 eggs, that's B.S.: I posted pics of incubator room and did hatch out over 1,000 eggs in '07.

Well then you were GOING to sell CH as hets: Never happened, never was going to, and this past year has proven that I believe without a shadow of a doubt.

I also agreed not to sell hets, only possibles so I could never be accused of it.

Then I was attacked for selling only possible hets as it would confuse people, thus I would still be scamming, so there really is no way to win on that one.

You posted pictures from other websites on your own in your banner: Yes I did and apologizes for it, and took them down immediately.

You claimed to work on a genetically modified snake, but your a liar as that's not possible, thus liar and scammer: 8 months later it was proven by a members research that I in fact am involved in genetically modified animals research, despite my resistance to comment on it publicly.

You didn't quarantine your imports in 07, thus your animals are all garbage. I didn't know I needed to quarantine them back them, but luckily had no problems. This year I did a full quarantine in a separate room.

You posted Desert Ghosts and other WC morphs on your site, and they are not, thus you are a scammer I bought the animals from Millennium Morphs when I bought out Adam/Mike. That was what I was told they were and they even told me the pricing to list each animal. Members on here complained and said they weren't, so I pulled them down (guess I got suckered on it).

The only customer complaint is from ReptileJay claiming that he received unhealthy mice from me at my shop, not at the Buffalo show where he bought others that were healthy. I did not recall selling him mice that were sick in any way, shape, or form. All of the mice in our racks are healthy and just fine. He admits to not have contacted me at all about the animals until posting a complaint here, for which I offered a full refund or replacement at his discretion (months later), which was refused by him.

I asked one of my volunteers to post on here about his dealings with me, and he put up a Good Guy thread, which was again flamed, and he was even attacked to a degree by a few members, before some others asked them to back off of him.

Now I'm leaving it to members of Fauna. If you want me to leave the Fauna community, including removing all classifieds you can vote in the poll. If the majority of members want me to pack up and leave the forum I will. I'm not going to leave the industry, but I will keep off of Fauna if that is the consensus.

I'll let the poll run to the start of the new year (Jan. 1st), and at that point I'll voluntarily pull off of Fauna completely.

Ball python breeding is a business for me first, and a 'hobby' as a distant second. I do not love the animals like some claiming to give 5 kisses before a shipment, but I'm not hosing anyone either.

In other news today: Chris Cassaci starts a poll on Faunaclassifieds.com because he's frustrated that members believe he is nothing but a jive talking two bit purse snatcher.

If you are going to HONESTLY represent your imports as what they are (i.e. nothing but imported nothing special normals), then stay.

If you are going to continue to be dishonest in your business dealings (i.e. labeling your nothing special imported normals as being legit morphs and whatever have you, falsely labeling imports as proven breeders, falsely labeling severerly underweight animals as proven breeders, and etc.), then leave.
 
Telling you to leave is not going to change anything, except for maybe the fact that you won't be posting on the classifieds here. It will do absolutely no good since I am sure you are going to continue trying to sell your over priced normals as morphs in other venues... I'm sure it won't be long before we see your snakes posted on other classifieds around the wonderful internet.
It is fairly unlikely that you are going to change your ways. You will continue trying to exploit the hobby one way or another. I am sure you'll be at the next show around here, trying to peddle your "fires" and "Ghosts" and "Sables" yet again.
No amount of telling you that you are wrong will be enough. Maybe leaving fauna is your attempt to escape your fallen reputation... but I assure you Chris, it will not just be all better if you leave these forums. You CANNOT succeed in this business if you continue to go about it the way you have been.
Quite frankly I couldn't care less if you stay or go, but people here (myself included) will continue to expose you for what you truly are, whether you like it or not.
 
Its a free country. if you want to stay stay dont leave it up to some guy on the internet 1000 miles away.

I dont know what you have done in the past nor do I care. If you are misrepresenting your animals then ya you deserve to be flamed but if you are legit then simply lock your forsale thread so that any interested has to PM you. If somone is calling you or your buisness bad name thats slander and is against the law. Take legal action.
 
I guess I should have read more clearly -- I thought the poll was whether or not to stay in the reptile industry -- but it's just about leaving fauna - how big of you :rolleyes:
 
Chris, you seem to want to make a buck even if it means stretching the truth, or actually ignoring it. You should have done research before diving in. Then, you might not have been taken on some of your fake morphs, and you would not look like a scammer by trying to sell those fake morphs. You have taken the wrong route, the cheap and easy route into Balls, and it has bitten you in the ass. Let the door hit you on the way out...

Either you believe in yourself, that you are doing right, or you have been caught wrong and want to change, or you are a scammer.

Either way, although others have said what they think about you, YOU need to decide whether you will stay or go.

If you are upstanding and ethical, stay. If you've been caught out doing something wrong and WANT to be upstanding and ethical, make amends to those you have wronged, ask for help, and stay. If you are a low down scammer no matter what the poll says your life will be made miserable around here and rightfully so.

Have the backbone to make your own difficult choices, don't ask others to arrange your life. What do YOU want to do?

First I messaged the party above and explained what my comment was about and whether they except it is not my concern and it wasn't race so save it.
Apparently you need to really get a life as you don't seem to have one.. All you do is troll threads and never seem to have anything worthwhile to say so I won't entertain your silly --- any longer as you seem to thrive on attention from others.
As for saying stay, I never met him, talked to him, bought or sold anything to him..
He doesn't need to decide to stay or go based on th nonsense that this board is full of. Personally there are plenty of places that will get attention.
Just remember most f these people have stood behind one of this sites biggest scammers so take what they say and file it in the trash..
There good at taking a thread that should be short and sweet and making it a book.. Watch and you shall see or better yet check out the other thread and see who the same people posting every single thread including the "moderators"..:yesnod:

I believe I've done right by most, but have made a few mistakes which I've admitted, and thus changed accordingly. It is getting ridiculous to have all of my classifieds flamed and slandered by the same dozen people though. I've tried to ask for help, I've posted threads asking for advice, and what I seem to keep getting is far more attacks than help. I'm not a scammer, but I don't want to participate in a place where I'm not wanted and getting constantly attacked.

I thought it only fair to leave it up to the community as a whole to decide whether I stay or leave, since quite a few are demanding I leave. I'm not going to close my doors regardless of what anyone here says, but I will leave this forum if the general consensus is that I am not welcome.

I'm MAYBE 20 miles away. Far less than 1000.

It is NOT slander if the statements being made are TRUE. If I were going around trying to sell normal imported ball pythons as proven breeder morphs, and someone called me out on it (not that I ever would), it would not be wrong to inform people that I was misrepresenting my animals.

Ignorance is not an acceptable excuse in this business. If you get screwed by making a bad decision on a purchase it's YOUR loss Chris. It is not the responsibility of some uninformed hobbyist to help you make your money back by paying a large sum of money for a normal snake.

You should not be in this business if it is JUST a business to you. The animals SHOULD always come first.
 
I wouldnt call the same 12 people a community man. Dont worry about let and just ignore them. They will find somone else to harass. Stay dont go.
