Is it just me or are there others that have problems with there rats chewing threw the corners on tub. I have replaced so many. Has anybody seen metal ones that size.
I know this is an older thread, but I'm hoping the Home Depot tub using folks will chime in here with some experience.
I'm looking at building some rat racks, and as usual am ordering my stuff online to pick it up in the morning. (Much easier for me) I see that Home Depot has two different tubs.
Model # 04925

Model # 887101A (has a notch/hole in the front lip of the tub)
PVC
10 gallons
27.6 x 24.8 x 6.5

Anyone laid hands on both of these? Is one stronger or better for rats than the other?
Thanks!
Love those tub toppers. Weren't you making and selling them for a while? Very clean and neat!
I ended up swinging by lowes to see what they had, and bought a whole stack of theirs. Once I got them home, I compared them to some old lowes tubs I have, and there's no comparison anymore. These are a much more rigid plastic that doesn't seem to pop in, in the corners.
Now I just have to find the time to sit down and make some rat racks.![]()
