How is my saying that "Dan is a bad name to have in the leopard gecko business...." worthy of being suspended when clearly the large portion of the discussion in that thread dealt with whether or not Alex was committing an illegal act? The persons that held this discussion were not suspended. Nor would I like to see them suspended, but fair is fair.

How about this for "fair". Did you pay your fine before posting here?

Now for the other part, any reasonable person would have known explicitly, via context of the previous two threads, why I had stated my last warning about impending fines and suspension for a continuation of that line of topic. When you, Steven, said "Dan" in your post that got you suspended, WHO exactly were you talking about and in reference to what incident? I wouldn't have thought this was so difficult to figure out, so I believe some people are being purposely obtuse about all this.

But before you answer, please pay your fine. It doubles every time you violate the suspension.

I can see I made a mistake by making the suspension voluntary for the higher membership levels in this case, but I can certainly change that. I had thought you guys would simply take your lumps and get on with your lives, but apparently you want to make a federal case of it. So be it.

Get over it or take a break. The whining does everyone a disservice. If you disagree with Rich to such an extent that you cannot particiapte in the manner he has set forth as acceptable YOU have the option of leaving. Should you leave voluntarily you can also RETURN when you have cooled out a bit.

Is a JOKE in reference to Dan Poe, Dan Lubinsky, and Dan Quinn. If you look later in the thread Dan Quinn laughed about it.


Now as for my violating the suspension... I only posted because I noticed that the title under my user name had changed from "suspended, fine due" to "benefactor member" and I had assumed that my suspension was removed for some reason or another.

I have plenty to say in response to this but it is apparent you would like to believe that this is some sort of personal attack. So be it.... Enjoy turning this into something it is not.

Let it be known, I pointed out something I did not agree with, and stood corrected. I also pointed out an email you recieved enlightening you to a situation when you claimed you had not known, hence the "psychic" statement you made was not needed. It was a simple mistake on your part, or oversight. Or you just thought it was not important enough to follow up on. Why turn it into something else, and why react as if you're being put on trial? You're not. Calm the hell down already!

From what I can see the only one getting worked up here is you..... An odd change considering a few days ago it was me in another thread! lol

Remember, YOU'RE the one who requested we take this here. I'm doing what I was told. Relax.

OK, an honest mistake on your part, but no the suspension has NOT been lifted at all. It is not lifted until you pay your fine.

Or does anyone else feel my suspension in this particular case was out of line, under the circumstances?

I made quite certain in email to say I hope my disagreement would not be personal, and I also went out of my way in this thread to simply end it stating I agreed to disagree. Further conversation was mainly regarding that pathetic POS Dan Poe. And then an inquiry regarding an email I sent you regarding the screen name he created after you had stated you were unaware and not "psychic" accompanied by our emails for confirmation. If you had shown any interest I figured it would take but seconds to find the screen name or you could have easily asked me. I did not want to bother you with it, and now I am glad I did not. I'm sorry you feel this has been some sort of personal attack, but it's not. It is more than obvious something has been bothering you recently... And this seems to be what most would call misplaced anger...

Perhaps my comments regarding a vacation ring more true than ever... Hope you get it all sorted out.

To be honest Rich I think the 'dan' comment he made did not fall into the category you were looking to enforce, and to your defense I do not believe this is something you would have known... It's one of those comments made that people "in the right circles" would only understand. You were nto aware of the running "joke"

And it was, read my first post. This thread is regarding ALL discussion in the Leopard Gecko forum that belongs in the BOI, this is one of them. You forget, I created this thread. I know better than anyone its purpose. The issue with you was mentioned and I agreed to disagree. We then began discussing Dan Poe. The only reason you were mentioned in that aspect of conversation was because of the email regarding his additional screen name he created after being fined. STOP acting as this is a personal attack. It is not.

Would it have been better if I took the conversation regarding the fines to the leopard gecko forum so you could fine and ban me? Exactly my point.

Recently there has been alot of discussion in the leo forums that belongs here in the BOI, mainly regarding Dan Poe and his horrid ethics, The mack snow morph and the pricing "politics" that surround it, etc. etc. etc.

The purpose of this thread was to take ALL the bs OUT of the leo forum and to the BOI where it belonged. I chose to start with the fines. And as you can see ALL subject are being touched here.... AS YOU REQUESTED.

Calm yourself. The fines were just, I do believe Steves was questionable as I styated however. But I agreed to disagree. You however, cannot seem to let that go.

I read all of the threads involved, ad-nauseum. Agreed with some of it, dis-agreed with some of it, got tired of most of it and basically just shut the heck up as I figured I had nothing to contribute to the discussion. I have my own opinions and agree with most of the posters that there was some underhanded shenanigans being brought to light perhaps, but I was not one of the parties involved so my voice was unneeded.

I think all involved in this need to chill out and take a long drink of something soothing, be it strong spirts or chamomile tea, before the entire mebership is fined and suspended due to this thread degenerating into a giagantic pissing contest.

BTW, when you agree to disagree with someone that is it. End of story.
