    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Adam, you came off as a pompous know it all who really knew very little, if anything. You rubbed many people the wrong way, talked about things you knew nothing of, to get a rise out of people. And now, just because you got verbally beat down in the Hell forum, now you want to play nice, and you think eveyone should just forget what you have said and done? Does not work that way in the real world...you made your bed, now lie in it.

All I know is that I'm trying my hardest, and I'm the only one trying. Nobody else seems to be trying to tolerate me. I don't want hugs. I just want civil conversation. :/
 
Just to add my 2 cents.... Im 19 years old and have butted heads with some people on here but its a learning experience i guess youd say. I know who i have to be the bigger person to when im around them and just let it go. There is NO reason to NOT be accepted in the chats. I been in there every night for a while now and there is nothing but nice kind people in there who, even if they were to bump heads, always treated me and others with respect. Some love to share info and others hate to be questioned about what they know. This is how it is in the chats and REAL life. All im trying to say is..... Get over it.
 
That last comment was pretty rude.

I can definitely say that you were not in chat when I was. There were quite a few people in there who were needlessly hostile towards me. These were people I've never met in my life. :/

Chat has always been fairly free range over here. Rich has been in many times, as well as the other mods. Hes making stuff up.

You just really don't get it, do you? Here I'm thinking you're hiding behind the "I'm mental" crutch. I mean, you say it and say it over and over and over again, but maybe there's some truth to it. I'm not saying this to be mean to you, Adam...I'm saying that maybe you really are. I think Starsevol suggested therapy...have you considered it?

I know I've told you before that my son has behavioral issues. He's five now and has come soo far, it's ubelievable. He totally knows that you don't walk into someone's house and pee on their carpet...oh wait, you've already been asked to stop peeing on Rich's carpet, and yet....
 
the only people that were hostile, were the ones that you have had previous altercations on here with.

everything else was just people goofing off, as we do every night.

By making up a story that people in chat were making fun of your sexual orientation?

Excuse me. but are we playing the victim again? Im quite civil... Generally... * and i absolutely was in chat* But i will point out the obvious flaws in your stance. Gladly. YOU. Lied.

Why should you be treated any differently? Its an insult to this site, and the members in chat, who happen to be my friends. * not all, many, some i do not know* You. Are full of it. and you know it. you arent trying to be nice, you are here, to try to stir the pot.
 
Look man my best advice is just let it blow over. Try again. Be nice and respectful and it will be returned. BUT one thing you NEVER EVER do is sit here and talk bad about fauna as a community and think your going to just float on by. It doesnt work that way. If you really want to be part of this then just let it go and if you cant do that then know that no one here is keeping you from leaving.

Perhaps it is just that your definition of "trying to be nice" needs a little work.

From what I can gather from this single thread, your universe, from the center all the way up to the far outer edge of your perception, is completely filled with YOU. Maybe you should think hard about changing that focus a little bit. Might do wonders for you in your interfacing with other people.

And I didn't lie about anything. There were foul words used pertaining to my sexual orientation, as well as a few hostile remarks in my direction. It was anything but friendly.

I guess this site just isn't a friendly place. I'm willing to accept that. :/
 
any of the "gay" jokes were actually to the straight people.. cuz.. oh I dunno.. SOME people have a sense of humour..


and your not the only hetero person to go in there.. remember..
 
I don't recall bailing out on Fauna. I've just decided that it's not a friendly place. And so far, nothing has proved to me otherwise. :/
