    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Repti-Racks- Bad customer service

Well from what I gathered it was in transit to the person you sold the rack to before you even received it. As it was being shipped you told him you were doing a chargeback so he had it stopped at a hub and re-routed. There's already another thread on you and the "bad guy" of this thread so I won't beat a dead horse on this thread.

My point was, you aren't someone I would recommend ANYONE take ANY advice from.

I do believe the OP should tell the rack builder you are doing a chargeback and then proceed to do so. Just make sure you tell him you are doing so first so he doesn't find a nice surprise the next day. Be courteous even though he has not been ideal to you.

lol it magically was in transit to the customer as soon as i started to get on his case about the racks,not to mention the lies of it being re routed as fedex had nothing about a re route in the first place when it was shipped anyway it was over with fact is at the end of the day don't do business with this shady company unless you like to wait months for a product

You sold a cage you didn't even have yet and KNEW you were having trouble getting to a third party and then tried to charge it back and double your money once you know the cage was being sent. You have no business giving people advice... None. Quit making this thread about YOUR old problems with repti-racks as if you are some sort of role model to look up to... You're not. Everyone sees right through it, and no one has forgotten. The buyers on this thread aren't going to sink to your level.

actually again you're wrong the buyer was aware of the delay issue and spoke to repti racks before hand,being it had a delay the 3rd party buyer was fine with it due to him being in the army and going on duty for x number of weeks,double my money you say?i sold the cage for 150 again learn to read,i was never told the cage was being sent i told him i am doing a charge back because the cage still wasn't there even tho the buyer has been back from duty,then being he claims the cage was being sent and he had to re route in keeping in mind fedex never had any records of a re route lol.and finally i still get business all over this forum and fb so my rep was never tarnished lmao!:shootfoot
 
Dude, you're trolling. You've mentioned a few times that people shouldn't buy from Repti-Racks. Let it go.

um i bought from them 2 years ago............i have every right to share my experience with the op and if someone is going to bad mouth my issue with repti racks i have every right to defend myself.
 
Ohhhh, a narcissist as well. I know you bought from them (well, more like brokered a deal as a middleman). Again, you have brought up your poor experience enough that the last 4 pages or so seem to be about you. You have your own thread, you have retold your poor experience multiple times...why not let this thread play out?

Whether or not Almando is or isn't in the wrong doesn't change the fact that other people are still having issues with this seller.

Today I had the goal of getting some of these cages set up for my geckos since I still haven't heard back from him on my last cage yet. I was trying to wait until I got them all to set them up since I'm really short on room right now (hence why I bought the cages in the first place), but I have no choice at this point because eggs are hatching and I'm out of enclosures. My goal is on pause because my boyfriend is having to fix a bunch of seams with liquid nails. He's not too happy about it and I don't blame him. I don't think he should be having to fix seams on cages that he paid so much money for. At first I was thinking it was because of shipping but it turns out to be multiple seams that just aren't glued well. These are supposed to be waterproof cages but if you were to spray water in them the water would leak all over. Not worth it in my opinion....
 
I just wanted to update to say that I received my enclosure yesterday. He makes a really good product from all that I can see. I am happy about quality, just wish the quick ship timing could have worked out. Maybe next time.
 
I got an email back from them on Aug 27th saying that they did not receive my previous emails asking about my last cage but that it "should be out next week". So I'll update when it gets here. Hopefully this one will be properly glued. :rolleyes:

Mine looks properly glued, and assembled so hopefully your last enclosure will arrive in the same condition.
 
Well, I sent another email today asking about the last of my cages. Although I was told on the 27th of August that I should get them "next week". I have yet to receive them and no further emails explaining any kind of delay. Thought I would update. I'll update again when I have anything useful to add or if my cages arrive. There really is no excuse for this kind of delay.
 
just make sure and file a claim with paypal before 45 days and don't close it until item is shipped,also try calling them from another number cause that seems to work as well/.
 
After emailing him today, he said that the cages were shipped out "awhile ago and should be arriving any day now." I asked for tracking info because I had not received the tracking (once again) and he emailed me back saying that he tracked it and it was on a truck for delivery today. I would have liked to have a heads up that it was coming but at least it's here. I haven't unboxed it yet but I doubt there's anything wrong with it that we can't fix. I just wanted to update and let people know that I did eventually get my last cage 7 months later. We won't be ordering from them again that was a horrible experience and very poor customer service.

So I'm guessing that it kind of slipped his mind to give you the tracking number so you could see when they were actually going to arrive? :rolleyes:

At least you got them, and hopefully they're in decent condition when you open them.
