In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Repti racks

o yea and i dealt with two more people

his name was justus who bought my spike x sunny and some one else on bd.org who i gave a dragon away for free to witch 0 issues to each buyer

so once again stop making false claims the only issue i had with members of the reptile community are the cry babies on bd.org and i still stand by everything i told them i will continue to buy and re sell dragons if i feel the need to but all my dragons get well taken care of during there stay at my home.

after that first thread i was followed on numerous of fb pages getting bashed on the same issue after i ignored it,then they started again and i replied back and then eventually i got banned but it's w.e people seem to think buying a new dragon and selling the old is animal cruelty

This thread seems to have morphed into a blog about your unfortunate life. It started out with a reference to a vendor who was taking a long time to complete a cage.

That seemed legit until you revealed that it was not even your cage any longer, that you had sold it to a third party. You spent pages here strenuously going on and on about a transaction that you were no longer even a party to.

I think your problems are not in fact issue based. I think you simply love being an attention ho.

I guess I don't find it too odd that the OP is concerned his buyer gets the cage. If I sold somebody a product I would be too. The thing that's odd is that they would sell it for less than half the purchase price before they even received it, apparently just out of frustration due to delay and because they bought another cage. Who does that? It just doesn't make any sense to me. Why wouldn't you wait until you get the cage and then sell it local or take a hit and ship it. Either way, you're likely to get more than the OP charged their buyer. Unless... you don't think you're ever going to get the cage. In that case, it doesn't follow that you would sell it to a dude in Va. The OP has mentioned several times that they don't think the cage has or ever will be built, and that alone clinches it for me. Why would you knowingly sell something you don't think will ever get to the seller??

Sure the rack is taking a long time, but can understand delays on that end. It's the OP's side of things that stinks to me.

I have no idea why the op would involve the vendor in his 3rd party sale for any reason and why Steve would involve himself in it as well is also a mystery to me. The only talk should be between the person who purchased the item and the vendor of said item, period. So the op should be the only person dealing with whom ever he sold his cage to, not Steve. But since it appears Steve willingly took on the responsibility of dealing with a 3rd party, it appears that it may be something to avoid in the future and just deal with the original buyers and let them do what they want with their cages. Also, I may be a little more willing to give refunds to people who have waited an extended period of time after the initial quoted lead time as it would have avoided this problem and probably some others as well. Repti-racks builds great caging and every knows that the quality is good, so giving a refund to someone shouldn't keep you out of money as you shouldn't hold onto it for long as it seems you have no problem for demand.

because i needed the money to buy a new viv after waiting since july all the way until sept, once again i contacted repti racks for a full refund or a partial refund on sept but he denied me a refund,so i was basically stuff, why should i have to spend more money out of my pocket after i spent 313.00?

It's the "needing" I don't buy. First you say you needed the money, but then at the end it sounds like a matter of principle for you. Either way, you could have received the cage and then sold it, unless you figured you'd never get it so you sold it knowingly that way.

I'll answer your question with a question- Why should you have to pay almost $200 to get some stranger a cage? You're just really confusing me here... it's just really weird.

I knew I would get the cage super late which was not the lead time I was given

The lead time I was given worked for me but then weeks turned into a extra month or two which was not acceptable and I had to get a critter condo

And again I wasn't going to wait for the cage and then sell it I was on a set budget and I had to sell it to buy my critter condo tho I did ask for a refund before selling to nick and repti racks didn't want to refund me

To clarify... :iagree: with this.

For the love of God will you quit reposting the same 3 posts over and over again ad infinitum??? You haven't said anything new in 15 pages. We all heard you the first ten times.

We all get it. All you are interested in is getting that tracking number so your paranoia about the new owner charging you back is taken care of. The new owner seems to be fine with the wait. You are the only one who seems to be a bit hysterical.

You read their terms and disclaimers and purchased from them anyway. Live with it and move on. This is no longer your concern :deadhorse

once again when i spoke to repti racks he assured me the lead times was different from there disclaimer etc,i am fully aware of what is on there site which is why i called directly to speak to repti racks and got something totally different from them obviously they lied, nothing knew, serves me well.

just a update for everyone i did speak to my bank and in the process of a charge back with them have to send them the payment info from paypal etc.

So, you're doing a charge back??
Just going to screw over the guy you sold the cage to? Obviously, once you do the charge back, Repti-Racks isn't going to send it to him.

Shouldn't you have made that decision, and pursued it, before taking money from somebody else for the cage?

I know but repti racks refuse to deal with me directly,he refuses to send me tracking like he promised and refused to send me pictures of the cage that had months to be built, like i said he has yet to post pics because it isn't built

and ill refund nick his 120.00 if the chargeback is final.or a little more for all this crazy non sense.

Geeze louise....did you ask Nick if HE wanted to do that? What if he really wants that cage for the $120 he paid for it? It's a great deal from his point of view, but you'd rather screw him out of his deal than to simply walk away from something you SHOULD have walked away from ages ago?

According to repti-racks, the cage has already been sent out anyhow. Have you bothered to PROVE that it hasn't been? Has Nick contacted you to let you know that the cage is not coming? Or are you just ASSuming everyone is lying because you can't stand the fact that you screwed yourself in this whole mess?

nick did not contact me

repti racks refuses to give me tracking number so ill have to assume at this case and point,i really did not want this and like i said i tried to avoid all of this by asking repti racks for a refund before selling the cage here on fauna, anyway now i will have to do what i have to do on my end, repti racks if you have not shipped the cage i highly believe you don't as you will be seeing a charge back soon, you have my contact info you can contact me to resolve this thanks.

i should of really listened to the boi on repti racks so this is my fault as well but ill deal with it now
