    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ok so from the beginning.
I bought a bearded dragon from a breeder. She is perfect and deserved a nice large cage.
I ordered a 48x22x18 white plastic cage with sliding glass doors, a keyed lock and the recessed lighting feature from Reptic-Plastics.

I waited almost 3 months. It took weeks for him to write me back when I did write for any updates at all. I was told at one point that my cage would ship within a week and would be sent an invoice. This was over 2 months after payment was sent on december 16th 2006. I still have never received an invoice.

I finally sent last week, a paypal request for money for a refund as I was tired of waiting and wondering.
I received an e-mail stating my cage would ship in the morning and I did indeed receive a tracking #.
I waited for my cage, thinking I was finally gaining a cage and a happy resolution.
I received my cage today February 22nd and Fed-ex had bashed in the corner on one side. Ok, that's not his fault... But the fact that the cage was sent WITHOUT doors at all IS !

I sent Reptic-Plastics pictures of the bashed in spot.
His site under Terms, states
All our products are carefully packaged to avoid damages during shipping. If you notice any damage to your order when you open it, please advise us has soon has possible. We take insurance on every package we ship, so any damaged item(s) will be replaced at our fees.

If it took almost 3 months to get the cage I have now, there is no way I'm going to wait for a replacement! Especially since ths one doesnt' even have doors !

This cage is basically useless to me now. I am waiting for a reply but I am going to ask for my money back as I am stuck with useless product and I am out $500.

After all the waiting....it shows up with no doors? Inexcusable! That is awful. I hope you get your refund, look into RBI Plastics next time. Good luck.

I have sent an e-mail and 2 paypal requests for a refund to this guy and I have not heard a word back.
I am so angry that I get cheated like this and am out $500 !!
He better send me that money !

It seems like he might have sent the cage he did just so you couldn't file a dispute to get your money back. Unless I'm mistaken, once something is shipped pay pal won't help you get any money back.

Have you made them aware of this thread? It would be interesting to hear what they have to say.
 
No offense here, but do you think you can provide all the emails you sent to these guys, and the information regarding the paypal transactions you did?

Hopefully these guys will refund your money, or send you a new cage that you were supposed to get, complete, and just for the trouble... let you send the other cage back FREE of charge. Make it right Reptic Plastics..... this is NOT how you should conduct business!!!
 
There is no way that I will wait for anything from this guy. I seriously doubt that if I sent him the cage back that I would ever see it again.

I just want my money back and get a cage from someone reputable.

I will post the e-mails I've got.

I accidently deleted the one I got from him after I received the cage.


But it stated :
"Keep the cage as is, i'm calling fed ex." " The doors are usually packed in cardboard behind the cage."

I have never had a problem with JB from reptic-plastics, I have 3 of his cages and all of them were in great shape. He answered all emails and questions in a timely and professional manner
 
All within the last year, I seen JB to day at the Toronto expo but did really get the chance to talk.

hrm i'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he did not get my e-mails being at the expo.
But I do hope he does write me back when he gets back .

I'm glad you had a good experience. I'm willing to bet that being in ontario is in your favor. I am not the only one I've talked to who has had nothing but problems with him.
