ok so from the beginning.
I bought a bearded dragon from a breeder. She is perfect and deserved a nice large cage.
I ordered a 48x22x18 white plastic cage with sliding glass doors, a keyed lock and the recessed lighting feature from Reptic-Plastics.
I waited almost 3 months. It took weeks for him to write me back when I did write for any updates at all. I was told at one point that my cage would ship within a week and would be sent an invoice. This was over 2 months after payment was sent on december 16th 2006. I still have never received an invoice.
I finally sent last week, a paypal request for money for a refund as I was tired of waiting and wondering.
I received an e-mail stating my cage would ship in the morning and I did indeed receive a tracking #.
I waited for my cage, thinking I was finally gaining a cage and a happy resolution.
I received my cage today February 22nd and Fed-ex had bashed in the corner on one side. Ok, that's not his fault... But the fact that the cage was sent WITHOUT doors at all IS !
I sent Reptic-Plastics pictures of the bashed in spot.
His site under Terms, states
All our products are carefully packaged to avoid damages during shipping. If you notice any damage to your order when you open it, please advise us has soon has possible. We take insurance on every package we ship, so any damaged item(s) will be replaced at our fees.
If it took almost 3 months to get the cage I have now, there is no way I'm going to wait for a replacement! Especially since ths one doesnt' even have doors !
This cage is basically useless to me now. I am waiting for a reply but I am going to ask for my money back as I am stuck with useless product and I am out $500.
