First off I am in the middle of a court case with them for sex discrimination. They fired me because they only wanted women to work there from here on out. Now I answered that insult of a question. Is that the answer you were looking for?

No, but it doesn't surprise me. After all of this, I question whether, (not weather), you're being truthful about this. For your sake, I hope you have proof of that and that it's not an attempt at a "money grab". If it is true, why haven't you gotten another bartending job? After all, Florida does have more than 1 bar/nightclub.

Say what you will and think what you will. But Doc and I know the truth. Could be why he has not commented in 5 pages.

Find a vet and get your snakes tested for crypto....as soon as possible....

just reread my last post and it was a bit quick and overzealous, i just was in a hurry and really stood out that he would write those notes as a rhetorical question completely unrealistically and obviously trying to appeal to the readers, also how he mentioned how easily he could lie with that program and then seemingly proceeded to do so, also if i recieve a shipment with problems solid evidence is first on my mind after seeing to the animals aka pictures ect.

all the same i wasnt trying to witch hunt just enjoying the read like so many others, untill i found this little gem..."You better hope that the day never comes where your life is in my hands."...is this guy serious?!? quite threatening in nature as well...regardless of the way anyone on here could come to hate, slandar, ridicule, or attack me on here (i hope not im a good guy just sayin!) i assure you were your life somehow in my hands i would do everything in my power to help you and put asside some petty squabbles on an online message board...wow man that was low.

Indeed. That was an awful thing to say. Maybe the guy has never told a lie in his whole life...but even if true, that doesn't suddenly make everything else he says and does right. Integrity and high moral character are a whole package that is a lot bigger than just "I don't lie."

Also...I've found in life that those who have to constantly POINT to their positive character traits are the ones who have the most trouble actually living them for others to see.

I've thought that even before this thread. The guy is outrageous sometimes. If you read some of his other threads and posts in fauna and cornsnakes.com you'll see that Josh is a belligerent poster by nature, and has very poor judgement and common sense sometimes when it comes to taking care of snakes. If you scroll down the page and read the posts you will see that reptileman81 Josh Hardee complains about the seller, even though he has posted a Good Guy thread on that same seller prior to that.

I do have proof that is the reason I got fired. I have customers that over heard him say it. So yes I can only hope to win. My lawyer is not so convinced we will. If I was a women and this happened I would win. Once again this is my personal life that is none of your business.

Not that proof matters to anyone around here. You people still do not believe the records that I shown you. Just because I had to write in what the software would not print off. The fact of the matter is I spend a good part of my morning getting all of those facts and proof together. What has Doc shown anyone. All he has is his words and everyone took his side. I provide proof and my proof is dismissed as fake. Or it is dismissed as proof that I killed one of the snakes. What about the other 3. Has everyone forgot about that. There were 4 snakes that died. One in transit, another a few weeks later, another 2 months later, and then the last one that you know what I think I will even take credit for. But I will not take credit for the other 3. They all just up and died with no warnings. Once again this is my personal life that is none of your business.

I will admit I am wrong in some ways. After I slept on it I think I will come up with some money to have a few animals checked. Once I do I will come back with the paper work and broadcast it all over this site for everyone to see that my snakes are healthy. And yes I have a quarantine. All of Doc's snakes are still in it. They have been for 6 months. That is the other reason for this whole BOI. I hate using up space for such things for so long. But I fear his sick crappy stock will infect mine with something. I even had to quarantine other snakes in a whole nother part of the house. Just so Doc's quarantine snakes would not effect new stuff that I got. I have been doing this for 16 years. I know what I am doing. I really dont care if you people do not think so. Hell send someone over. There are plenty of people on this site and CS.com that live in FL. Send one over to look at my stock. I would be happy to have company. I sit here all day babysitting my girl friends 2 and half year old and her 1 and a half year old. I could use some adult interaction. Come on over and let me prove you wrong. I invite anyone and everyone.

I spot clean my cages daily. I feed when and how I should. My temps are all at the right levels. There is plenty of humidity in the room being the clothes dryer is in there to help with that. Yes I kept feeding the one snake "ONE" snake. I was just hoping that what was wrong with him would fix itself. I was wrong. I will not make that mistake again. Live and learn is all I can do. I learn best from my mistakes. I will also not make the mistake to tell anyone ever on the bad dealings I have had with anyone ever again. Everytime I have the hord of people come at me and attack me. Some of you feel you are not attacking me. Well look at all of the post. Just the post you are typing sure is not a attack. Its when 20 members post stuff about you and none even know you personally is when it is a attack.

I only hope because you all have chased another guy from this form away that you do not get hurt in the long run. I do not mean this as a threat in any way. Just saying that I hope you dont do business with someone who is a bad guy after I have and you could not read anything about him because i would not post anything about him because of the way you people treat others here. This site could have thousands of people a day on it. Hell tens of thousands a day. But because of you people chasing them all away the site and peoples business suffer.

Yes because of my situation without a job I have leaned on my snakes to help me out in my time of need. I would not survive with out the money I make here and there off of them. So yes unfortunately my animals have become more about making money. When I find a job that will change back to the love I have for them. How many of you can say you have wanted to be a reptile breeder sense you were 13 years old. I can!!! It has been my life long dream for far to long and I will not let any of you and your "opinions" of me stop that.

The finding a job part. Why dont I get another bartending job? Do you know how hard it is as a male to get a bartending job? On top of that yes there are many bars everywhere. But each one only employs at best 10 people. Most though are more around 5 people including a manager. So that leaves the job market very empty. Then there is the money crisis our country is in which makes it even harder to find a job.

Let me ask you people how is it that you can post post after post on here and work. Sounds to me like I am not the only one without a job for what ever reasons. Unless you are misusing company computers to bash and attack me.

Someone said back how I said that I know nothing about these animals. That is not what I said if you could read something properly and not turn it around on me. I was saying that you can not learn everything from reading. You must have hands on to know what you are doing. I brought this up cause you all judge me on what you read. Even though none of you know me personally or have had dealings with me. Hell the one person that had had dealings with me said a few nice things. But you people all forgot about that fact.

Also, to be fair, I have exchanged PM's with Reptileman/Josh (May/June 2010??) about the possible purchase of a snake that originated from Doc Walker. Josh was very laid back, professional, and friendly and trustworthy in my estimation.

Thank you again Eric. You all have turned everything I have said around on me to make me look bad. I hope that you are happy with yourselves. I may do somethings wrong but I can own up to them. How about some of you own up to attacking me. To turning my words around to hurt me. To possible what you have said ruin me and any chance I have at my dreams. Yes I have done wrong. Yes I am not perfect. But you people just made it much worse by what you said.

Its cool!!! I like a challenge. I can bounce back from what any of you have said. I will be a professional reptile breeder. I will own my thriving pet store. Because I will never give up on my dreams just because a bunch of people think little of my words.

I know my husbandry is top notch. I know I give my snakes the best that I can give. Hell I even had Mice Direct send me replacement mice when they had the salmonella scare. Even though they said it was harmless to snakes. I was not taking that chance on my life, my love.

So now this thread has become all about me and you people. How you feel about me. And for you all to boast your own egos. I will not help you boast them anymore. Find the next thread and person to bash.

Now you people can continue this if you wish. It does not take much to block things and people here. I know what I did was right and just. Reptiledoc knows he messed up. I only hope the rest of you see that by bashing and attacking people like you do on this site you ruin any future for it. As it stands Rich Z talks a lot on how it could get shut down. Trust me you people are not helping that matter. I am out of here.

Reptileman81, this quote from one of your previous posts characterizes you more than anyone that has replied to this thread. This is not an attack on you. It is a statement of fact. Anyone who has ever read anything about common reptile diseases would at some point in their lives have heard that persistant gastric region swelling combined with regurging, as you reported for one of your snakes, is a classic sign of Cryptosporidium, an incurable disease that causes hyperplasia of the gastric mucosa. This affects the ability of the stomach accommodate and digest a bolus of food, and and results in bacterial decay and putrification of the rodent and subsequent regurgitation. This is an incurable disease and also contagious. The gastric hyperplasia is a late stage of the infection and infected animals can be subclinical for months before becoming symptomatic and debilitated. This snake was doomed but since is showed classic symptoms, should have been taken to a vet to be sent to a lab for a confirmed diagnosis. Any reputable herpetoculturist would have wanted to know if any animal in their collection was positive or negative for this in order to make decisions on the future of their collection. Since it is always fatal and also contagious, it is likely other animals in your collection are infected. By describing that animals' condition on this thread, you have effectively put yourself out of business, at least to members of this site. I would never want anything from a collection with a crypto suspect. You should not be trying to keep any type of animal. I would recommend finding a hobby that does not involve living things.

While, in general, I agree that Josh has made a very poor showing of himself, Some of us should be very interested in the origination of this possible contamination.

If Josh could have had a necro done on the one that kept regurging, he could possibly have a case. If we even had pictures of what they looked like when he received them, there could possibly be a case ...just saying

However, Josh, with the lack of this visible evidence (your records aren't enough) there is simply not enough facts to point the finger at the seller. Some of us would have wanted to have seen more visual evidence appearance at arrival, pictures of belly, and various stages while in your care. Unfortunately, with the lack of evidence and the prime animal gone... there is nothing.

If nothing else, I hope you take away from this situation a lesson to document, document, document and do not wait so long next time.

You cannot hope to have a successful business if you don't take proper care of your animals. Having check-ups of your personal collection is an awesome start. When I say "start", I mean beginning. That is where you begin, it does not end there.
Reading is a good way for you (or anyone) to do research. Learn from others mistakes. Hands on will give you experience, reading will give you knowledge!
Don't take things so personally because all anyone can do is LEARN. Don't expect anyone to take your word (or mine or his or hers) for anything. You didn't prove anything except that you continued to feed an animal with a possible obstruction. Learn from it. Don't take what is said as an attack, instead, see that there was a problem that you possibly made worse. It happens, but shrugging off what is said as an attack will teach you nothing.

Nothing was twisted - only expanded on. If things like that chase you away, perhaps this industry is not for you because once you own a business, you will be confronted with problems like this DAILY. How you handle it will directly relate to how successful your business is.

I am researching, because the situation/name is not familiar to me. What I have found so far is that it may be a internal parasite and not an infectious disease:

Cryptosporidium - is a small parasite, measuring about 3-5 µm. Members of the genus Cryptosporidium are parasites of the intestinal tracts of fishes, reptiles, birds, and mammals.

Josh always seems to have the "them against me" mentality. If being a professional breeder is something he has been striving for since the age of 13 I would wonder why he is not farther along than he is now.
I am still wondering where he came up with the idea that I have no "hands on" experiance, that I don't keep animals and that I am not a breeder!
I hold no hard feelings against him, and wish him well.
And I would love to hear more from Doc.

Not only that, but quarantine is pretty much mandatory for ANY animal entering the house, for a minimum of 3 months, even from a respected breeder. Josh had mentioned that he took in rescues, some half dead, and nursed them back to health. While that is admirable, is also carries quite a bit of risk imo.

And to correct my previous post - the animal may not display signs and carry crypto asymptomatically - crypto can take up to two years to cause death in a snake.

I believe he mentioned the snake came to him with the lump so it's unlikely his own quarantine is the problem.
