This is the problem with the BOI and forums in general in stead of being nice and telling someone that where they went wrong you get the internet bully . the person that will kiss you butt in person but is Mr tough guy in the internet. Same rules apply in real life as it does here. If the guy had a problem so be it if he want to air it out so be that too. The fact he did not go the right way about posting up a problem on the BOI granted, but jumping all over this guy from the start was not right. There is a right and a wrong way to correct someone . Cheep shots are for A-holes wuss punks. Jumping all over Reptileman81 like a bunch of punks does not help us get to the bottom of thing it just makes tempers fly. I'm not saying Doc is wrong or right either. Maybe it was something Reptileman81 did in the way of care . Too many people try to make up for lost time by over feeding a snake too small for their age. I know when I sold hatchlings that I brumated I would not sell them for at least 2 weeks to make sure they did not have any colds or other problems A number of things could have happened here. But by acting the way you guys are acting you are giving no room for a smooth non embarrassing back out if the OP was wrong. All your doing is raising tempers

I have been on the other side of the fence many times . Having people tell me things over the net they would not say in person . Start to jump off the main subject to prove that what your saying is wrong trying to diffuse your train of thought. It is a very hard thing to do and I know I did well but most cant argue with 4 to 5 people going in different directions at the same time. I can. You people see what I wrote in the other post to both people. It was plain simple and to the point. Weather or not the OP got bad animals. My feeling is he did not handle his business correctly. Live and learn. He felt he had something to say and I'm sure if you people did not act like a bunch of animals he might have seen where he went wrong and may have said this is what happened ok next time I'll keep better records. just a note to all as far as I know Doc is a nice guy, reptileman81 as far as I know is a cool dude too.

You can go where you want. A lot of people know me here. I'm a straight talking man. I say things like it is.

I mention no names nor was I talking to one person. So I guess if you are offended the shoe must fit for you. Learn how to talk to someone like a man instead of like a teenager. Josh in a calm tone please wright what happened all out from start to finish wright everything from when you recived the animals to their death . I'm want the whole story from start to finish take you time and dont leave anything out I would like to hear doc side too. Lets get this solved and over with I hope I can help both of you to get to some sort of happy ending. I will even go as far as to say you both can call my home anything to get this over with Apologizes can be made and this thread closed

The thing about the 500 animals must have no been you my bad I'm sorry. I also agree about a corn not eating for a year. I'm not talking about how big you are or how strong you are I'm only 5' 2" tall. I'm talking about the way you and a lot other people are posting. I see it and have had it done to me. The stuff the Rich Z lets people get away with post in is a little to much freedom. I love RZ he is a friend and has been very kind to me over the years. Not talking about the BOI but the Cornsnakes forum in general. The way people post would not fly on any of the other forums I belong to, They would get banned. There is a right way of explaining to a person that you feel they are wrong. Tell me I'm wrong Read the first few pages tell me how many people you see anyone talking to him in a nice manner and see how many people talked down to him. Put yourself in his shoes how would you be able to keep your composure. All I'm saying if josh is wrong people could have put it nicer. Maybe Josh would have posted back nicer without feeling attacked. Lets say the OP is right but he handled things the wrong way, making fun of him wont get us too far. Lets say the OP did not give the right care to the animal . Where is the room for him to apologize with some dignity. The way this thread is going I lost interest in the first 3 pages because it is a being handled like High School drama. I dont know if the OP is right or wrong All I know is he handled his business the wrong way. I would love to here Doc's side of the story. . I dont even know if he posted on this thread because all the BullCrap. Lets stick to the facts Lets see if Josh can tell us everything in order as they went and then it would be nice for Doc to reply. Lets start over fresh and no cheap shots.

The reason I dont have all the points is a person with a lot of points gave me a bad rep points and wiped out all my good ones. The guy ended up being a raciest and is on the run from the law the last I heard of him

Vinman did you even read the whole thread? Your first post here said you only read a few pages... then you said you only read up to Doc's reply.... Before you start telling people not to internet bully, etc I think you need to actually read the whole thread. I'm sure you'll see exactly why we've taken the stance that we have.

When Bethany first made an innocent comment in this thread Josh replied quite rudely, even went so far as to say "you better hope your life is never in my hands". I don't think anyone has said anything even half as harsh as that to him.

He also showed us feeding records where one snake had been fed (according to his notes and records) every couple of days and every couple of days the animal regurgitated. This is the same animal that supposedly had a lump in its stomach - Josh stated he did not consult a veterinarian as vets are for animals you have an attachment to (his words, not mine) and the snake died. (But somehow that is Doc's fault)

Another of the animals he posted records for was not putting on weight... well the record showed huge gaps in the feeding schedule. Even a whole month where this supposedly sickly, weak snake did not get fed. There was no consistency in item size or time of feeding. Once again, the snake not putting on weight is Doc's fault, though.

Now, six months later Josh wants to put the blame for these animal's deaths on Doc. Who did say that they were from a double clutch. I don't know if Doc brumates hatchlings, but if he does that would explain why they remained small.

The only thing Josh wanted to do was hurt Doc's reputation. He even said that if he could deter one person from doing business with Doc it was worth a hundred people who refused to do business with himself. (paraphrasing)

Just to be above boards, I am one who hit you with negative karma. It wasn't that I did not agree with some of what you said. It was the simple fact that anyone who reads three pages of a 23 page thread and thinks that he is then qualified to start spouting commentary and advice deserves to have more than his karma hit.

The info is here and yet you ask for a synopsis from the OP to avoid having to actually invest the time to bring yourself up to date so you are qualified to venture an opinion.

And I am the one with a 500 animal collection and i can pretty much guarantee you that I have shipped a heck of a lot more animals in the last twenty years than you have.

There is a great proverb I have always appreciated. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and erase all doubt".


Bottom line....read the thread and then talk

Now snake throws up you are not supposed to feed it for 7 to 10 days in my book. Did he tell Doc right away ? I don't know . Abnormal feeding records Ok there again did he let doc know. If he did not, like I said there is a right way of telling some that they should have handled things differently. Which was never done at the start. I like to see how this would have gone in person I bet it would have been done differently. Non of you would have talked to him that way your grabbing at straws and not looking at the whole picture. slap a dog in the face a couple of time and wonder why it bit you. That is what happened here. No body gave this person any respect from the start. I lioke to know if any of Josh's other were doing fine to this point or did he have something in his collection before he got Doc's snakes. I'm not saying Doc is a bad guy but dont you think something might be a little fishy if he had problems with Doc's snakes . I shipped many baby snakes and never did one end up dead on arrival. I could see if they all got cooked or frozen or lost but why did all the other ones make it there alive. Hello !!!! That does not trow a red flag to you That tells me something is not right to receive a dead hatchling and all the others are alive but thin. That right there leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I could see if only one hatchling was in the box and arrived dead or there was 2 and one died and the other one was on deaths door but the box was very hot or cold. Did you ever think Reptileman 81 is maybe a new to the game and now would do things differently after this . The biggest thing he did wrong is bye more animals after he felt they did not look in the best of shape. I bet he felt that Doc would not have sent him bad animals and figured all he needed to do is pump them up to get them on track. I like Doc a lot but I have to be honest this does not sound good to me. Dont be so fast to come down on Josh. I know when I first started I was sold some problems animals and went back and bought more because I thought it was my fault. Now I know better but then I did not. Vinny... how can you have an informed opinion on this thread when you admit to not have reading the whole thread. There is alot more info that popped up after you quit reading. Like Doc's post and more damming evidence about the OP's husbandry/beliefs on reptiles.

Use common sense. You said you shipped a lot of snskes over the years how many dead hatchlings did your customers receive. Like I said I heard nothing but good things about you. Yes but ask yourself what did it arrive dead in the first place. The replacement was nice of doc but does not explain why it was dead and the others looked thin does it.

Like I said I dont think Josh handled this the right was weather is wrong or right he stilled was not talkred to right from the start. If so then this thread would have not gone in the manner it has. That is where everyone that has replied to me refuses to see. Your guys are garbing at straws. Picking on this and that but look how Josh was treated. I did not see any respect toward him in the first 3 pages and so through the rst of this thread. Again he got jumped on like a pack of doges attacked him . I would have no problem selling to Josh if he wanted my animals.
