Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Reptile Basics Inc

Another great order from Rich at Reptile Basics. I got 3 - 32qt sweaterbox racks and a Helix DBS1000 grounded. He got everything to me quickly and with no problems whatsoever!
 
i'll add on to this growing list of goodness. i just got a feeder water system today and everything looks great. i plan on buying flexwatt from them in the near future. great people to buy from, and i admit i went with them because of their glowing reputation here on the boi! thanx rich!

I am so glad everyone has had wonderful luck with him! The main reason I started this thread was to get the word out so people who have never ordered from him would try him and see how great of a guy he is!

Its definitely not luck! :) Rich knows his business and takes amazing care of his customers. I just got another sweaterbox rack from him last week.
 
I ordered a hatchling rack and a Helix from him late last year. I had just missed the cut off time for the sale he was advertising, but when I called he went ahead and gave me the sale price anyway. I thought that was quite impressive. The rack and Helix arrived in perfect shape and exceeded my expectations.

Just yesterday, I ordered two of his 4' cages with heat tape installed in the floor. Though I haven't yet received them, I'm sure the quality will be just as good as before and as everyone else on this thread has received.

I have to say, I'm a frequent reader here at Fauna, and there really aren't many threads at all that can go on this long and remain positive. I'm floored. Keep up the great work Rich. It looks like you've built yourself quite a loyal customer base. I hope to continue my business with you in the near future, especially when it comes time to start getting secure cages for my classroom herps next fall!

I also agree - I placed my first order with Rich about a month and a half ago. He answered all my questions beforehand, and shipped the order out very quickly, wired exactly as I asked, and at a great price. I will definitely go to Rich for any Flexwatt I need in the future! Thanks, Rich.
 
My 4' cages arrived yesterday - FedEx got them here a day early - and I couldn't be happier. As usual, Rich came through perfectly. I believe I've now made the decision to get all my future cages and housing units from Rich. He's been, by far, the most courteous reptile supplies vendor I've ever dealt with. I'll be needing several more cages for my classroom next year, so I'll be in touch again soon Rich!
 
I purchased a few supplies last year from Rich at Reptile Basics, he's a very professional businessman! His customer service is exquisite from what i've seen, and he provides quality products at fair prices in my opinion! Keep up the good work bud!
 
I have purchased two racks from him as well and like everyone else has been saying Hes a great business man. A+ on his products, prices, shipping and service.
 
I just received a couple of racks from Rich as well. The customer service was above and beyond. From ordering, shipping and delivery, everything went smooth.
 
Still more praise for Reptile Basics
I didn't break open my last purchase until I actually needed the contents, about a month later. Much to my horror, I found that there had been an error. I checked the invoice - it matched the contents of the box. I then pulled up my order receipt, which showed the products I thought I had ordered...but not what was in the box (2 items, one incorrect). I emailed Rich, attaching copies of the receipt and invoice, and he responded within a couple of hours - mind you, this was on Easter Sunday. He apologized for the error, and offered a couple of solutions. Things were quickly put right, as anticipated. Can't beat that customer service!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
 
I just purchased a rack for my leopard geckos from RBI and I am impressed! Definitely nice workmanship. I didn't know what to expect I was afraid it might be a little flimsy but not at all. Very sturdy and well made. And I received it in a timely manner. I liked the fact that the shipping was allready included in the price and everything was wired up and ready to go just had to hook up the thermostat. So far so good ! I haven't had any problems with it.
 
Just wanted to add on. I purchased about 200$ worth of auto watering system supplies, thermostats, heat tape, and a few other goodies at white plains expo. Great guy, made me a shopping list according to the size of my rat rack. A+ guy for sure
 
You want to talk about customer service, I needed auto water supplies quick fast and in a hurry, Rich was on VACATION and still called me right back, 2 days later when he got home the order was filled and shipped. A+++++. That is the way to make repeat customers. I will continue to do business with Rich.
