Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Good Guy Reptiles Express

I ship Reptiles Express. They have always had a better price. Just to be sure I had to do a comparison really quick. I'm shipping a snake on 7/23. ReptilesExpress cost $38.33, same shipment with SYR cost $50.90. This has been the case since I started using Reptiles Express 2+years ago. ReptilesExpress has the best prices...period. Pick 2 zip codes and compare both. Not to mention Reptiles Express has KILLER customer service.

To each their own, Shipment im doing monday though my rates via SYR was $11 Cheaper than Reptile Express.

But rest assure,more you ship cheaper your rates get, and you MUST be logged in to take advantage of SYR rates or you wont get accurate rate.

The Reps for each can alter peoples rates as they see fit if need be. Been with SYR for a while now and no one has matched their savings i have had. Why I never used RE or my FedEx account!

Reptiles Express customer service is Fantastic.Debbie does a great job and is always polite and very much on top of things. I don't care if the price is a few bucks more or less, the service is outstanding !

That being said I have found their prices to be a Little better 99% of the time.
 
I use RE exclusively. It may end up being a dollar or 2 more expensive then SYR at times, but Debbie's customer service is priceless. She has fixed a number of issues for me and always does it faster then I could expect.
 
I have to agree with everyone else regarding Debbie's customer service. She's very personable and I feel like she's genuinely interested the customers. I don't ever feel like I'm treated as just another number, she's always expressed interest in what I was shipping in or out and however little that is, I appreciate the attentiveness.

While I do get slightly better rates via my FedEx account, knowing that Debbie is at my back ready to handle any problems makes those few dollars worth it to me. She's just an email or call away.

In regards to SYR...After the whole UPS scandal, not to mention my own problems with their service and support, they'll never get a dime from me...But to each his own, use what you're comfortable with.
 
There have been quite a few times where I have needed Debbie.
Each and every single time she has gotten back to me in minimal time if not instantly. Even if she sees a missed call from me and I did not leave a message! She has even responded to an email on Sunday!
I have typed in the zip wrong, or had to change the box size when a customer added on after the label was printed, couple other misc things.:D
Debbie is right there all the time. She treats me like we have known each other forever and are friends. I have never felt like I was a customer. She has tracked my packages, tracked down lost packages and been my true salvation several times.
I had used SYR in the past and occasionally have checked rates against RE being curious and have found RE to be less expensive by a couple dollars. SYR does a fine job. But NO ONE compares to Debbie and the type of person she is and the care she shows. I truly feel I am her only concern each time we talk or email.
I have had customers ask me to use other shipping methods and I will never use anyone but RE and have Debbie at my back!! :thumbsup:
 
Thanks Eric for the kind words.I have compared many quick quotes I have never found SYR to be less than our prices either.
Rich send me any zip codes that you have the issue with I will surely check them out.:)
 
WOW I just read all these great comments and I want to personally Thank each and everyone of you for them . As far as pricing goes I really do try to stay on top of it and if you have not checked them lately please do and always feel free to let me know if we are not the least expensive out of the legitimate companies this includes SYR.
I also believe as customers you have the choice so I will continue to do the best possible job that I can .

Debbie rocks my socks. We use both Reptiles Express, as well as our own FedEx account, depending upon which shipment is going out, or where it's going. When we use Reptiles Express, you just can't top Debbie's customer service.
 
I would just like to thank Debbie for her time and some wonderful customer service. I recently did an inquiry about getting a shipment sent ( which didn't go through cause the snake deal got real sketchy). She was fast and very informative. She will definitely be my choice of carrier.

What can I say, Debbie always makes shipping as stress free as possible. And I need that cuz she knows very well just how stressed I can get on shipping days...lol ... No other shipping company compares! I tell everyone "I have my own shipping department, Debbie at Reptiles Express!" :yesnod:

Had another awesome experience with Reptiles Express and Debbie Price.
I was trying to ship to a zip code and there was an error coming up due to the zip code not being recognized on Reptiles Express screen.
I called RE and left a voice mail for Debbie.
I went on SYR site to see about the zip code issue while waiting for a call back, to see if they would recognize the zip code. I have an account with them, was signed in, put the zip code in and saw the quote was $48.35. Fine, knew I could get a label there if I did not hear back from Debbie in time. I was looking at a half hour before I had to take the package and make it by the cutoff time. So knew I did not have much time to wait for a call back.
So, of course no worries. Debbie got back to me in minutes. She got it figured out for me. I put the zip code in, and saw my quote was $38.85! I called Debbie back, thinking there must be some error. $10.00 is a huge difference. Turns out that is what I paid. The quote was correct!!
Long story short, shipping from 17325 to 33596 was $10 cheaper with RE. Same service and excellent customer support! Not wanting to say anything negative about SYR, I have used them and like them, but why pay extra?? Right?
 
I've used Reptiles Express for a few shipments lately and can also attest to Debbie's awesome customer service. Even if they didn't have such great pricing, it'd be worth using them just so Debbie can save your bacon if something goes wrong-definitely puts my mind at ease.
