    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That's a fair point. I think, though, that you are caught in a 'my dad can beat up your dad', 'no, he can't', 'yes, he can', 'no, he can't'.......kind of fight. Try not to stir the pot....I'm sure it'll settle down.
 
belive me i have tryed that! it seem that when ever someone has something positive or good to say about me and my business. i have multiple people on here useally the same ones attacking me on BIO they gang up on me like a witch hunt. i have some that i have never done business with attacking me on here. which is annoying sometimes.
 
I understand your frustration but I also understand theirs after dealings with you. The problem is though is in business the customer is always right. You do what is needed to make them happy so that word gets around that you are a good business and you will do what is needed to make sure that your customer is happy. Sometimes you will not be happy with the outcome but if you always think of the customer and your animals first then your business will be better off. I am not saying this with no experience. I work on rockets for a living and I run a business with my wife. We do great and I don't do any real advertising. We get most of our customers from return business and word of mouth. There have been times when I knew the customer was wrong but I stayed with the rule that the customer is always right and made sure that they were happy. My business is great and I have a good name with most if not all of my customers.

Have you ever stopped to consider the fact that you provoke said reactions from people, Victor? While you often play the blame game, you are indeed your own worst enemy. If I were you, I'd take some time for introspection and see just what it is that you're doing that's provoking people. It has nothing to do with jealousy, and mush more to do with emotional maturity and personal responsibility. The harassing phone calls you made regarding the other thread and the profane PMs you sent others (which may result in additional warning points, which would bring you closer to no longer being allowed to post here- given our past interactions, I'll leave the issue of warnings for another moderator to decide) really don't help you paint a flattering picture of yourself.

Perhaps the best thing you can do for yourself right now is to step away from the keyboard and ask yourself "what could I do differently?" If you want to be viewed as a rational, professional businessman, then conduct yourself as one. You're not going to see a change in people's perceptions of you overnight, but it will happen if you work at it. Or, you could continue with the same pattern of self-destructive behavior as you previously have, which will perpetuate the same negative perceptions. The choice is, and always has been, yours.
 
I need to be an ass and just add something . What's up with all the run on sentences , mispelling and bad punctuation ? There is spell check . You will be taken alittle more serious if you have correct grammer .

Its not about the haters or bashers.
It's about the reptile business altogether. Victor Rivera and his partner are bad guys and need to be removed from the industry.
He has illegally shipped snakes through U.S.P.S. twice.
he has sent sick or parasite infested animals at least twice.
He has sent the wrong species or bait and switched twice.
When he is called out on this, it's his supplier or his importer. He never takes responsibility, he gets defensive, swears and threatens people when confronted.
He is a jobber. He wants the money, The animals go in the front door and out the back. He doesn't treat them, hand pick them or even feed them I'll wager. I go to south Florida every year. I would be glad to eat my words and take pictures of Victor's shop. I doubt that invite will ever come since a few people have offered to pick up their animals and were refused.
It is guys like Victor and others that bring out new laws against our hobby.
The cruelty negligence and illegal shipping practices only inspire lawmakers to want us shut down. If we don't police these criminals someone else will do it for us.

He needs to pack up his business and move on. I'm sure it will all fit into a suitcase because hes a jobber, flipper whatever, he is a bad guy.

this guy call me a few month ago and buy two snakes from us gets them in good condition. then talks :censored: when one of his buddies get the same snakes from us that he order on a holiday week expecting them to get there on time. first of all never order reptiles or any things else on a holiday week! the chances are it will be delayed. especially on christmas. then brrrman goes on here saying his snakes were fine and doing really well and he never had any problems with us. then things went sour when we did not want to refund his friends snakes. on top of that brrman was demand that we give his friend his money back. i personal think brrman should have stayed out of it. its no of his business! but of course he did not! we then talk to his friend after he dredged our name into the mud! on different forums finally we agreed gave his friend two replacement snakes for free and payed the shipping too. yes folks he got free shipping plus free snakes. then this :censored: hole brrrman come on here talking trash all the time you tell me who the :censored: you got a serious probelm brrrfish!
 
Victor - defend yourself, calmly, and you will be heard. Answer the claims people are making about you. Character attacks are for children. Your last 2 posts are not a step in the right direction, and illustrate why people are attacking you. It's like watching a car wreck, really. Scratch that. It's like watching a bad horror movie where everyone is shouting, "Don't go downstairs" at the screen and the 17-year-old hot chick goes down the stairs, anyway. In this analogy, Victor, you are the 17-year-old girl.

I just (sort-of) defended you twice. These are not the sort of replies that will get you anywhere you want to go. Now, I am more inclined to ask you, again, to not go down the stairs (again).
 
Victor, I have tried to help give you advice along with several other people on here. You don't seem to listen to what people are trying to tell you. Do you want a positive image with people that may become your customers? You are on two different post on here arguing and calling people names and making a big seen. You say that everyone is attacking you and calling you names and putting you down. Like I tell my kids name calling is not going to hurt you. Coming on here and showing your butt will though. Most people read the entire thread and make their own decision as to who they want to deal with and who they believe. If you were calm and polite, took blame for the wrong that you have done and people still came after you then others may see that it is an unfair attack. But you get on here and stir up problems, confront everything and then say they are attacking you. If that is the case it is not going to look that way. Please don't think that I am taking a side on this. I have had a bad experience with you also. I am trying to be fair and open minded. I personally would like to see you make the changes that need to be made for the benefit of your animals and your customers. Then maybe you can get good guy posts to help your business. But if you stay with the route that you are on now, you will end up with no customers and no business. I am not attacking I am just trying to give you some advice. If you don't want it then tell me and I will leave you to yourself. If you do want to change the image then work with the people that are willing to give advice to help. Its your choice. I am not going to keep wasting my time though if it is going to do no good.

Yes, you are... for thirty days this time. Perhaps while on hiatus you can dwell on the sage advice you werre given previously and work on your anger management issues. I had cut you some slack regarding the profane PMs you had sent to other members, but you stepped well over the line by implying threats of physical violence.
 
The reason why the snakes died is because you sent them 2nd day U.S.P.S.
That is illegal. You sent them with no styro or heat pak. that was stupid, the snakes arrived
sick and died shortly thereafter. Your fault. You then lied about styro, lied about shipping,and accused the buyer(who I do not even know) of lying even after he sent in pics of the packaging. I also only ordered 4 snakes and only received 2 you said your wholesaler was out. But you tell everyone you are in possesion of these animals when they order. Another lie.
Keep on lying and digging. I'l see you bury yourself. I accept your offer to visit your shop. I come down for 2 weeks every February. I will call you then, and we can arrange a time when I can visit you and your shop. I will take pictures of everything I see and we can let the other people decide whether you belong in this business.

You are right I had no problem with the 2 snakes you sold me. I ask everyone to read the posts. They will see I defended you in the wrong cham case, and stood by your judgement not to return that customers money without her first returning the wrong cham. But then the other snake case came in. Evidence was right there. You shipped snakes up north in the winter, 2nd day mail, and with no insulation or heat pak. I calmly posted and thought you were wrong, and that customer deserved a refund. Then like the stupid little child you are, you attacked me. Then the parasite ridden redfoot case came in. You bashed him. Another customer who was trying to help you.
Everything bad that is happening to you, you are responsible for.
I will call in February.
I will be in Fla. in February, you can be a stand up guy and show me around, or you can choose a lower path. It's up to you. I, for one am not afraid of your petty threats.
If I see a clean shop with healthy clean animals, no mites, no missing limbs.

If I called the number I still would not technically be "saying it to your face"
I would be saying it through the phone. I will however, still come down in February. I do every year. Feb. recess. I will see you then. Then, If you choose, you can show me around your beautiful shop full of high quality hand picked animals. Or you can choose a lower path. I look forward to either. The camera will be rolling. It will be there for proof that you run a clean shop,or that you will once again stoop to the lowest level.
