    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Reptster.com experience with show sponsorship not good

I used Reptster to ship 2 times..... the last 2 times I will ever use it again. Thanks David for showing me your true colors. I WILL NOT do any business with someone who will sell his morals for such a small price.

After I read the BS from him... I pulled all my ads until I could get fedx certified. Im almost there... just gotta fill out the legal stuff... my test packaged passed the test.

For me its all about principal and integrity. I am more than willing to miss a couple of sales to keep from being associated with a con artist. At the rate Im going... I will be certified in LESS THAN 2 weeks.

Thanks guys! 24 hours from now we will be in the midst of vendor setup, and I think the show is going to go really well. Hopefully I can keep this stress level down a bit that I am having right now, but I really doubt it LOL

And just to keep things on topic a bit, no contact from Mr. Young yet. But then again, is anyone really surprised?

I will keep you in my prayers, that your show is an outstanding success. If the ethics and courtesy you have displayed here is any indication, you will be a real success.
I hope in the future that I can do some good turn for you that will help, but your own stamina and planning will I hope carry you through this weekend.
Good luck and many of us are anxious to hear about how the show goes.

David refused to pay for a show sponsorship after advertising was already started for several months. He also didn't pay for another show sponsorship until it was brought to this thread (3 months after the show if I remember correctly?). David blatantly lied in several instances about things that happened with the op of this thread (he was proven a liar with actual proof).

There are also accusations of overcharging for shipments...Promised refunds that were never issued...Insecure credit card storage on the Reptster website...Etc, etc, etc.

Your best bet is to read the thread. His obvious disregard for his customers (the reptile community in general) is obvious when reading his posts here and those of his lackeys. :thumbsup:

My KARMA is red and I have three comments calling me a putz and insulting.
Should I care about karma and "king snake" my way through the forums or just say nothing?
In other words, does "Karma" really effect what people think about you on here?

All I can say is IF I were to order online something you had to offer vs. something someone else had of the same value, I would 100% be buying from you, because of your integrity even if you were selling for a few bucks more!

That is just the way I operate my life and my business. As a human... all we have is our word and our integrity..... everything else can be stolen or lost. As long as you strive to keep your word, and maintain your integrity then everything else will come.

Anyone worth listening to is not going to judge you because you have a red square under your name. That just means a couple of people took exception to something you said...rightly or wrongly. Personally, what ~I~ judge on is how someone speaks and acts. If you act like a jerk and an idiot, then that is what I will assume you are until proven otherwise. If you act in a calm, logical, professional manner...then I will assume that you are a reasonable person, until proven otherwise.

And on topic....I had had the opinion that the Reptster founder was a reasonable and professional individual based on prior contacts with him.....until I was proven wrong by his very own behavior here. NOT based on what anyone else said, but based on his own written words and actions. And maybe someday in the future he will prove me wrong yet again.....but I'm not holding my breath.
