In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Reptster.com experience with show sponsorship not good

Brother the thread was started by your wife and should have never been here in the first place. If I created a thread about everyone who decided not to finish a deal I would have to many to keep tract of. Now I am being unfair by showing that maybe David is not only a smart business man but also might just be a prophet as well. Because he sure nailed this one. This reminds me of a bible story in which the moral was: He who has never changed their mind cast the first stone!

Mr. Belcher,
I am NOT your bother.
I have been nothing but a man with everything and I mean everything I have said to you. The BOI is here for things just like this, like it or not. To say it should have never been here is something that even I would not have thought you would go so low to say to try to save Mr. Young. Smart business men will talk to people that they have worked something out with if they did not think it was going to work the way they wanted it to. When did Mr. Young tell you he talked to us about this? Take some time and make it a really good story.

Bottom line Mr. Belcher, Mr. Young said he was going to do something and never did anything.

As for your Bible story, I think that you should go read it again.

If you are trying to tell me that Mr. Young could see future then you really should get him to pick some Lotto numbers for you.

I can not see how any good business man could say these things really.

She has every right to start a thread about a customer that stiffed her after services were started just as much as you have the right to start one about a customer that bounced a check or failed to pay.

I think your projecting your disappointment about your shows not making it past ... what? 3 , maybe 4 shows.

Every show started small and your arguments make you look like a small minded, frustrated ass that couldn't get his shows going. For someone so willing to quote the bible , you don't mind casting stones or preaching the almighty dollar. What happened to turning the other cheek?

Everyone knows its a crap shoot to either vend or start a new show. If it wasn't for the stubbornness of those that gave it a shot in the past , we wouldn't have the shows we have now. Not every show will make it just like not every business will make it.

:thumbsup::iagree: EVERY SHOW!!

50-100 people respond and partake in most of the threads here. So your math again is way off and you still give over exagerated numbers. 500 people would be way out there in itself.
Allen Belcher 706-615-4772

Actually the math is very conservative considering that each individual will tell to at least 3 of his friends. Going by your numbers that would be 1,500 people + the oiginal 500 for a grand total of 2,000 (if math serves me right). At $5 each (just one box shipped) that would be $5,000. Five thousands minus 750 = 4,250 :shrug01: Oops! Back again to a 4 grand loss! :yesnod:

Matthew,
If Alan really wants to get Biblical please allow me to use a Biblical quote to sum this whole thread right here & now, including Alan's part.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

The End! :yesnod:

Matthew you spelled it correctly, You are my bother. You and your wife have blown this way out of the water. Along with your backers. Anyone can decide at any point to not go through with a deal. You have tried to slam David for deciding to not be represented at your show. It was his RIGHT just as it was yours to bring it HERE. David did not tell you to go and print the flyers, You just got ahead of yourself. I think you are really mad at yourself for jumping the gun.
I have spoken with David and I do support him. His idea and business is a huge attribute for our industry and will continue to grow and flourish. It is your business I will not be sending my retirement fund too. :ack2::rofl:

A quote you missed

Some seeds fell among the weeds
others among the street
and some among the fertile soil

David has cast his seeds among us all and now you can decide if you are too dry and hard or will choke it out. But some seeds will grow and flourish and yeild a bountiful fruit.

With over 52,000 members. Total of somewhere between nine hundred to a thousand different registered members that have logged on within each 24 hours during this thread.Over 14,000 that have been active, I think that might be a very low estimate. Considering that doesn't even count the high number of guests logged on viewing this thread during the earlier posts. If you want to know about stats so you can make a halfway decent guess instead of half wit one you should check the feedback forum.

So now he is a prophet?

Alan...let's see if we can get our skewed train of thought back on track. David's divine precognition in knowing that the Tinley show would have a bigger gate and vendor turnout than the PA show could have been predicted by a blind border collie. No real surprise there or credit for being a brilliant strategist availble for your Lord and Master. Since, according to both him and Kelly, he never intended on actually attending her show, your point is no more important than the one on top of your head.

As to your enlightening dissertation on business ethics, it is very telling. So, according to your skewed sense of morals, anyone can back out of any deal at any time? Not surprising how you managed to garner your stellar reputation in this industry. If your head wasn't so firmly wedged in David's ass with lips puckered you might have figured these things out for yourself.

But I doubt it.

I have been following this thread and have not posted in it before now, so your math may be way off as well.

I was making a trade deal with another member in which we were going to use Repster to ship. I had heard and read nothing but good things about Repster from members here on Fauna, and Reptile Radio.
After reading this thread I decided not to use Repsters service.

I am sure they will be fine without my business, and I completed my trade without theirs. Maybe I paid a little more than I would have but I think David although he had the right to change his mind after committing to the sponsorship, should have apologized and paid for prorated services that were already provided.

What the :censored: !

I can't believe I missed this thread!

Can we get another bible quote???? PLEASE!!!

As a vendor at the Kordek's show, please allow me to opine. The turnout was low, and the atmosphere was quiet, however, a few things should be noted. Matt and Kelly were humble and gracious. They made a point to go around to their vendors to make sure we had what we needed, and acknowledged any shortcomings while seeking out suggestions for future shows. In addition, they expressed immense gratitude towards those who have supported them and offered discount rates for their next show.

What did Ripster lose out on? Hmmmm. Let me think....starts with an "I", I think. Oh, that's right! I've got it!!! INTEGRITY!!! Then again, it looks like they never had that to begin with.

Thanks for being a class act, Matt and Kelly. I look forward to giving it another shot in January!

The question was about repster. I was wondering just what David missed by doing the Chicago show over the over hyped PA show. By reading not much. By adding looks like he can get cheaper advertisement than $2.50 per customer.
For you who need it heres the math:
$750 sponsorship (declined)
300 people divided into the cost would equal $2.50 per customer

I think David made the right choice in which show to attend! Over 15000 customers verses 300.
HOPE THE CRICKETS WEREN'T TO NOISY!
Allen Belcher 706-615-4772

You family tree dont fork does it Allen.

Wouldn't that be family twig in this case?

And what did I do with that "don't feed the troll" picture? Would have fit in well a couple posts back.

So how was the show? How many venders and how many customers? Tell us what Repster missed!
Allen Belcher 706-615-4772

You know what? If I were David I would slap you upside your head! You are no real friend of his if you want to keep this thread alive! If you were a TRUE FRIEND of Davids you would shut your :censored: mouth and let this whole thread disapper instead of keeping it going and making Reptster look bad because you are just not smart!

Allen, try taking off your shoes and counting on your toes as well as your fingers....maybe you'll come up with some more logical statistics.

David owes the Kordeks money for services rendered, and refuses to pay them. End of story.
