    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Reptster Shipping

I have my own boxes...I just can't get past the Get Price stage.
Doesn't matter how much savings it appears to be, if I can't actually make a shipment, it doesn't do me any good. And I STILL can't get an answer on the customer service number.

I just shipped using reptster. I click Estimate Rates" first, then click "Ship" in the right column.

I guess I wasn't really responding to your inquiry other than because of the changes they might have some kinks to work out.
 
I was going to use them this year, and they would have collected a chunk of change from me, but they never sent the boxes they said they sent. 1 1/2 months after they said they sent them, and still no boxes, so I am done with this line of shipping.

I've shipped through them a few times - it's not that I don't know how...it just no longer works for me. The information isn't even carried into the pending shipments page like it used to be.

I was just saying I had no problem shipping today. Maybe it's the computer you are using. :shrug01:
 
I thought of that, and tried it from another one this afternoon.
I don't know what the deal is, but it's looking more and more like I'll be using my FedEx account for tomorrow's shipments as well.

The only thing I can think of is that my account got put on hold or something because I changed my billing (I had to cancel the listed card, due to a number of fraudulent transactions)
 
I scrolled through the pages of this thread, found David's email, and contacted him that way. He called me, sorted it all out, and I've got another box going out with Reptster today.

Anyone know whats up with the free boxes, or lack there of? I was under the impression that the free boxes was part of the agreement between Fedex and Repster. If that no longer exists, what other parts of the agreement are open to change?

The boxes weren't coming from FedEx, they were coming from Superior. I imagine they stopped the free box thing because people were ordering boxes and then not using them with Repster shipments.
 
That's exactly what happened, from what I've read from them--some people decided to take advantage of the system and ruin it for everyone else. Reptster was losing a ton of money on the boxes. This is a perfectly fair solution--we get a bigger shipping discount, and we were paying for our own boxes before Reptster anyhow. You can now buy the boxes and other supplies right on Reptster's website, and they're quite fairly priced!

Now I am having issues. I was on earlier and all was good. I went back just now and I was no longer logged on and when I went to log in, I got a message that my userid was not valid. :shrug01:

I've had this same issue numerous times. I even had David Young reset my account once and it still does it to me. I finally gave up trying.....
