    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Apology to RR Reptiles

I apologize to RR Reptiles for confusing them with Richard Richey who is located in Oregon and does perform numerous "operations" on venomous snakes. It honestly didn't occur to me there would be two Richard Rich's in the reptile business!

Tanith, I concur 100% with your views on venomoids, and because my business was mentioned in association with venomoids, I wanted to go on record as stating that we (Exotic Reptiles Jungle) do not and will not sell venomoid snakes. If I recall corectly, only a very few of the venomoids we got and sold lived long enough to be sold as healthy (this is not necessarily a reflection on Mr. Ritchie's work, we don't know what the cause of death was). I Have never owned a venomoid, nor would I, and we certainly will never take anymore in and sell any. I could give several horror stories dealing with venomoids, but you all have heard enough yourselves, I'm sure. I still have one Papuan Black snake that was sent to us as a venomoid with gland implants, YET still acts hot, and takes down quite large live prey with single bites. An attempted venom extraction yeilded clearish fluid (presumably venom). So I can only assume it is still a hot snake (if for no other reasons, safety). I won't say people do not have the right to own a venomoid snake anymore than I would want anyone to tel me I can't have a venomous snake, But we do not and will not ever sell them again.
